1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Exactly Caused The New Drop Of Crypto? on: March 23, 2020, 06:21:59 AM
Just in few days now we have been experiencing unthinkable massive market drop, it seems something happened which I did not hear off. Please anyone here to tell me what exactly happened to the market?

Thanks.
This COVID-19 virus the been the main reason for the recent world economic turmoil. People were got panic in buying foods and supplies for the lockdown and they will in need of cash for their emergency funds. We can't control those investors to sell their crypto even at lower price as they will secure first their family needs while in quarantine mode. Anyway on the other side, this will also give a chance to buy at lower price if you think that this will not go more to the bottom.

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how to manage losses? on: February 03, 2019, 12:45:59 PM
in a long-term bear market. All the coins are losing. the first thing to consider is that your coin will survive until the bull market returns. Therefore, u should choose a coin with a large market value. they are more resistant.
I will agree with you mate, the coins that will survive in the bearish mode are those that has huge and strong community support and adoption as they can have a volume even if the price will hit bottom. Holding them will not get you losses as you have confidence that the price will rise if the market will recovers.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Thoughts on upcoming profitable coins? on: February 03, 2019, 12:01:23 PM
Do you have thoughts about profitable coins in the near future?
Since GRIN difficulty is exploding and the prince sinking.

And ideas?
I think that we can't be sure about what coins will be profitable in the future as all of those altcoins we depends with price of bitcoin. It can minimize the risk if you will invest in those top 10 coins since they have bigger community support and liquidity but the problem they have higher price compare to those newly launched projects. Those new coins can give us a huge profits as it can pumps higher but the risk is too high and it's unpredictable.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IS BTT a good investment for us ??? on: February 03, 2019, 11:18:40 AM
It's too early to speculate the profits on this project but if you believe on the team behind then close your eyes on the daily price as this might get affected with the current market situation. Getting profits seems need a long term plan while we are still in market recovery.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: No bull market in 2020 on: February 02, 2019, 11:58:41 PM
i dont know and no body know for really and it might take more time honestly because no investor here today and big profits are reason behind no bull.

We should be optimistic and hope that we can have a good news in this year that will make the trigger of the bull run. Crypto can surprise us and it happened in 2017 and this can happen again in the right time. Investors are just in the corner waiting and observing the market and anytime they will ride with the flow if we have a good rally.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Most Promising Altcoins to Invest in 2019 on: February 02, 2019, 11:27:08 PM
An overview of the best cryptocurrency to invest in 2019 for potential long-term crypto investors.

<sniff>
All of those altcoins were claiming that they will be profitable investment as we know that this is business those developers are all after about money. We just be careful in putting our money as the market is still in bearish mode and this can affects the prices of all coins/ token in the market. If they don't have real product, it could be hard for them to rise in a bearish market.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can anyone or experts still predict/ forecast cryptocurrency nowadays? on: February 02, 2019, 10:56:55 PM
This question of "Can anyone or experts still predict/ forecast cryptocurrency nowadays" keep ringing in my head because early last year there were different predictions about the rise of the crypto market in general from the so called "crypto experts" and "analysts". But to my greatest surprise, at the end of the year I could only see maybe one out of all the predictions I read about becoming true.

This makes me deduce that the crypto market can't be predicted to some extent.

Want to know people's view on this. Thanks

It's a nature of this investment to predict the price to attract more buyers and make a hype on that particular coin as we have many newbies will trap with this strategy from those pretending to be experts. We have no law that will make them payable if their prediction will not hit or within that range. Indeed, being a investors we are responsible with our decisions in choosing the ideal coin for our money as it is unpredictable.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: it's hard for me now to be able to speculate crypto prices? on: February 01, 2019, 11:57:21 PM
what I feel is very difficult now to be able to speculate crypto prices, I think in 2019 it was even more difficult for me to be able to speculate on market prices, whether this happened to me or kaliyan also felt the same as I thought and I felt this time?

Even those crypto experts have been off on their predictions as the market has been dull after those crazy bull run of 2017. The increasing scam projects and hacked exchanges contributed on this to make more difficult for us to get our profits. The price hit the bottom instead of increasing it day by day. All of us were affected and hoping that the market will become bullish again for us to grow and attract more investors.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are your expectations for ICOs in 2019? on: February 01, 2019, 11:25:02 PM
What are your expectations for ICOs in 2019?

For no one it is a secret that this year for the ICOs was not the best  Undecided, but what do you think will happen to them by 2019?

Will it improve significantly?

It's difficult to predict the market situation but if we going to look the mass adoption then this will going to be tougher for those ICOs to survive as the market has still not performing good since last year. Besides let’s remain optimistic that this will reverse the situation in the coming days or months as crypto can surprise us anytime.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Don't be discouraged, things are going to change! on: February 01, 2019, 11:03:35 PM
For some of us that has invested into some kind of icos and cryptocurrencies market generally are at the losing end now and many are discourage about the market performance.  I believe that if you invest into any altcoins and icos in 2017 and you did not sell then your investments should all be in red right now.  Speculators has tried to encourage us that we should keep investing and the future holds great price upwards movement for us.  I think we should not ignore their advice as cryptocurrencies market is going to recover and it will resume it upwards movement again when ETF is approve.  Don't be discouraged , keep hope with the market as I also do.

We should expect the unexpected if you going to analyze the whole cryptocurrency as this investment is too volatile and nobody can predict the prices of every coins we have. If you trust those team behind then tank-up your patience and hope for the best. Panic will not help solve the bearish situation and it can cause much damage.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEM is struggling on: February 01, 2019, 10:27:37 PM
We've heard about exchanges and crypto projects cutting staff, and to some extent, we all assumed the sh*t projects would be going down under these testing conditions.  But NEM, a somewhat underrated project, has announced it's running out of funding.

https://cryptomenow.com/major-cryptocurrency-project-nem-only-has-a-month-of-runway-left/
Let's hope that this strategy to cut-off their employee will make them survive in this bear market. I know it's difficult for the team to announce this situation because their investors will get panic or will not understand them but at least they let the truth speak rather than making a exit scam.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we stop promoting scam project? on: January 31, 2019, 12:26:44 PM
Most of the bounty hunters do not get payment despite their hard working and some gets a little with shit token. Can we prevent it? Just an idea.

What if we everybody stop to promote a project which offers only token?
For launching a project, the project owner or developer should have some money to promote the project. Say for example- they have to escrow a minimum of 40% of the bounty allocation in term of usd or btc. Only then we can prevent scam ico and bounty hunter will get their money. Can we start following this rule?

I think I have seen some bounty managers has doing escrow on their bounty reward and this idea is favorable to the bounty hunters as we can assure that we have our reward after those hardwork. The only problem here is that not all developers will agree to do the escrow as they want the reward will be base on the money they collected and they have the full control of the whole bounty campaign. Anyway, if we want not to participate on their project if they don't make escrow then we have our choice and decide what is best for us.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC should be for big whales on: January 31, 2019, 11:42:18 AM
I'm here today to drop my own point about how KYC should be use
- KYC requirement for bounties and airdrops is so unreasonable ,KYC implementation is no doubt a good idea but it should be forced only on big investors that wants to buy large amount of a token either From Exchanges
- there should be limit for KYC requirements e.g like if an investor wants to buy 10,000$ worths of tokens upward then he or she must go through KYC ,just saying
I think this is a requirement if the project wants to get listed on a centralized exchanges like binance that all their token holders should have passed KYC. Yes it should not be mandatory to us being a bounty hunters but we can't do anything on that unless we will not going to join on their bounty. Only those admin and developer has the final decision about KYC. If we want to claim our rewards then we need to follow them. I just hope that they should take care of our data not to get into the dark web.

16  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the Crypto Market Remains ‘Moderately Bearish’ in 2019 on: January 27, 2019, 01:56:12 PM
That's really frustrating to see the CMC chart. The prices of top coins are dropping very cheaply, I was hoping for a massive pump as the first priority but crypto has some other thoughts. I think some big whales will be behind this downfall.
We need to stay focus as the market is still not doing good. Those who can wait will get their own reward if they will continue to stay positive even with this bearish situation. We know that this bear will get tired with the coming of good news and more adoption and that's we need to be patient for that to happen. Yeah whales had taken control of the market as many newbies had been panic to sell their coins when the price is in downfall. Hold-on and be optimistic.
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2019 BITCOIN Price? on: January 27, 2019, 12:34:41 PM
Can you predict what will be the cost per Bitcoin by 2019 Dec?

My Prediction: Around $35,000-$40,000 USD

That was a very impressive prediction man but to tell you honestly, December 2017 bull run will never gonna happen the same way again. IMHO Bitcoin price would play around 8k to 12k in the coming years. And one thing for sure Bitcoin will stay forever.

It's difficult to predict the bitcoin price as this will depends on the market demand and we can't compare this to previous bullrun of 2017 because for this year we don't have any good news that will start a rally. The market has become stagnant at lower level and many investors are waiting for any good news. I'm hoping that we can have more adoptions to increase the demand and make it stable at higher price. It could be a good market if the price will rise at $10k which I think is very possible for this year.
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: Relax, its just a hard market reset on: January 27, 2019, 11:56:26 AM
Being optimistic 101. Find possible positive things in all situation. I assume that this market dip is just a hard reset of the market's value where 'virus' or unworthy investors, mostly those who panic sell, forced to withdraw their account because of the dip. With this, all weak accounts will be perished and all remaining strong holders go on to victory. After it has been cleaned, we could now enjoy green fields on our wallet. 2019 will be great again for us crypto holders. Stay focused.
Yeah the fight must go until we achieve our goals in this technology. The road to success is not easier but we need to stay focus and attentive on our investment as we don't know what will be the outcome while the market is still in bearish trend. I'm optimistic that this year will be much better than last year and we need to take advantage to accumulate more coins as we can for a better profits once the market returns to a bullish. Those who will stay patience will get rewarded in the right time.
19  Economy / Speculation / Re: IS IT TIME TO BUY MORE BITCOIN? on: January 27, 2019, 10:50:27 AM
IS IT TIME TO BUY MORE BITCOIN?

The Bitcoin has had setbacks in the price which has happened partly due to the problem that we have been carrying since Sunday afternoon, however it could be a good opportunity to acquire more BTC if that is the plan that you have.

BTCBTCBTCBTC Shocked Shocked ShockedBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTC

If Bitcoin is able to maintain the rate for the next month and a half, everything could change on February 27, since it could receive a good bullish momentum if the SEC (the US markets regulator) approves the first quoted fund (ETF) denominated in the digital currency, a decision that has been repeatedly postponed. Specifically, it is about deciding on a possible authorization to the ETF proposed by the company SolidX Partners and Van Eck Associates. In theory, the SEC would have had to pronounce on this vehicle in December, but the lack of adoption of the digital currency among the world of institutional investors, and the constant regulatory problems that appear every day, have once again postponed the decision.According to http://www.finanzas.com Shocked Shocked Shocked

If you believe that the coming news about SEC could make the trend bullish then you need to accumulate more bitcoin while it's price is more cheaper. Yes it could make the price rise a little bit but not enough to rise higher to the $10k level as this should need more adoptions to rise higher to above the all time high. With or without ETF this bitcoin will rise if we have more adoptions that will increase the daily demand and we should use this coin for our daily transactions and buy more bitcoin for our future. Indeed nobody can predict the price of bitcoin as this will follow with the demand in the whole crypto market.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which Cryptocurrency Should You Still Have In 2019 on: January 26, 2019, 02:32:24 PM
There are currently at least 1,200 different types of coins as listed on Coinmarketcap. Which one will prevail? Or rather, which group of coins will survive for the long term. What coin/token should you have now for the year 2019?
I will only hold those coins that I know it will survive if the market will not recover for six months which I think most of the altcoins will die or hit the bottom. The market has no assurance that this year will be a year for the bulls as we have no sign of progress which most of the investors have been waiting for it. Better to invest on those proven coins that we have than those new coins that has no real product.
