-ANNouncement- Ninja pool new version beta testing in progress!Hello everyone, just wanted to let you all know that we're in progress beta testing the new version of ninja pool.
If anyone would like to test with us, feel free!http://beta.burst.ninjaBe aware, that there could be issues, but we will resolve them VERY shortly, I've got the active developer working on it, as well as a great systems engineer.
Thanks! I haven't had any issues at all so far the last day or two on the Ninja Beta. Other than not enough miners to crank out blocks, but I got the honor of hitting the very first block kind of like solo mining right now. The block paid out right away and the shares build and pay out also. https://github.com/Blagodarenko/miner-burst/releases/tag/v1.170603

Yup correct thats the way it works!
737562325338747394_500000001_4130048_4130048 737562325338747394_504130049_4113408_4113408
2 of my plots! just add last plot nonce and go!
Ok perfect. Something else. If you have lets say 4x5TB an 4x1TB. And you plot first all the 4X5TB so the nonces are starting on the first and ending on the last. Then starting with the last nonces on the 1TB's. Is this the best option? Or does it really make no difference if you first plot a 1TB, then a 500GB, then a 5TB, then again a 500GB, then maybe a 8TB.. end so on... I just was wondering today if this make any difference in mining.. :-) Offcourse most people will not have this nice system unless you do al the plots again. but even then if you somthing finds like a cheap 1TB and just want to add it after your last 5TB... then again the nice system is gone :p I'm starting each new drive using unique start_nonce (100000000, 200000000, ...)

I just asked this on the other Burst thread. How do I get an interrupted plotting file to show the actual correct size on the drive? IOW, it is a 400GB, sitting around 55% and running, if I stop it now, I can rename the file, or even without a rename, the better miners will pick up the correct info, but the file itself will always take up 400 GB on the drive. How can I correct that?
Search for PlotsFileChecker.exe it should be on the Burst Forums. This will truncate the file I believe and rename it also. Nope. PlotsChecker can't help in this case. PlotsChecker only for not optimized plots. You may interrupt Xplotter, but you need continue plotting later (using bat file)

As the dev V2 pool is down, I wanted to mine on pool.burst-team.us. But, blago's miner just crashes with this config: Any ideas why? { "UpdaterAddr" : "pool.burst-team.us:8124", "EnableProxy": true, "UseSorting" : true, "SendBestOnly": false, "UseFastRcv" : true, }
change to: "UpdaterAddr" : "pool.burst-team.us", "EnableProxy": false, "SendBestOnly": true, "UseFastRcv" : false, delete "UseSorting" : true, https://github.com/Blagodarenko/miner-burst/releases/tag/v1.160407 parameter "UseSorting" deleted

OK. I'm sick and tired off poolmining. I've got >100TB plots for solo.
Can someone help me set the details of the mining.conf for the blago-miner.
(BTW: I set de reward assignment) ...
for solo (you may increase "TargetDeadline"): { "Mode" : "solo", "Server" : "127.0.0.1", "Port": 8125, "UpdaterAddr" : "127.0.0.1", "UpdaterPort": 8125, "InfoAddr" : "127.0.0.1", "InfoPort": 8125, "EnableProxy": false, "ProxyPort": 8126, "Paths":["D:\\plots"], "CacheSize" : 40000, "ShowMsg" : false, "ShowUpdates" : false, "Debug": true, "UseHDDWakeUp": true, "SendBestOnly": true, "TargetDeadline": 3600, "UseFastRcv" : false, "SendInterval": 100, "UpdateInterval": 950, "UseLog" : true, "ShowWinner" : true, "UseBoost" : false, "WinSizeX": 76, "WinSizeY": 60 }

smaller pools aren't having the same Fork issues that Ninja and the other top 3 have. Smaller pools are based on using Uray's Code and do fine. Mine and some others add there customized versions too. Thanks goes out to Uray the wallet makes forks, not pool

Nope. PlotsChecker did not check overlapping, only validates plots for physical size/name

please , these data are correct ? I have 2 files
xxxxxx29_40000_209803_209803 xxxxxx29_100000_171657_171657
Your deadline is larger than it should be. Check if you put the correct passphrase to passphrases.txt.
Your deadline is larger than it should be. Check if you put the correct passphrase to passphrases.txt. 58 MB read/235 GB total/deadline 1152260971779s (1152260971777s left) Your deadline is larger than it should be. Check if you put the correct passphrase to passphrases.txt.
I am using xubuntu 15 and mdcct-master
please anything I can improve ?
Seems you mining in SOLO mode. If you did set reward assignment to the pool, then you need use URAY_POOL mode for miner try this https://github.com/uraymeiviar/burst-miner/releases

at now pool set "targetDeadline":"172800" - it's ~8.5 Tb recommended size http://imgur.com/a/gPdvu*for image used BaseTarget=3000760

... The way PoC2 will function, is completely different in that particular aspect. The current algo is solid in every aspect, only thing that anyone has ever brought up is disbelief in the fact that GPU and ASIC mining isn't viable, but according to anyone who has tested it, a high end GPU can only mine equivalent of 35GB or so of HDD space. ...
@all I tried generate nonces on-the-fly at CPU (8 cores) - I got equivalent of 8GB of HDD per 4 minutes you can try too https://github.com/Blagodarenko/miner-burst/blob/v1.160705/miner.cpp#L489

I have a lot of "connection reset by peer" errors on pool.burst-team.us lately. I remember that I also had those errors on burst.ninja, but then you guys fixed something and then it worked again. Anyone else got this problem? Maybe I'll try to switch back to ninja if it doesn't get better to see if there is any difference.
ltcnim - we're trying to get miners to spread out across all the pools, consider moving to: http://pool.burstcoin.bizhttp://pool.burstcoin.euH. http://pool.burstcoin.biz - very stable pool, fast and i didn't have any unconfirmed DL (connection reset by peer). Confirmations after 1 sec.

a question. do the plots degrade over time. and is this a must use tool either way?
use this tool once, after plotting new file

[utility]PlotsChecker 1.0https://github.com/Blagodarenko/PlotsChecker/releases/download/1.0/PlotsChecker.exePlotsChecker checks and validates plots to see if the name of the plots, matches with the contents of the plot. Incase it finds any errors, the program is able to correct the plot by renaming and truncating the plot, thus removing any space otherwise wasted. RenamingIf the plot is incomplete or missing nonces, the program is able to rename the plot and correct the file, which allows space to be freed by truncating. When the plot gets renamed, the program makes sure the nonces is still a multiplier of the stagger size. TruncatingAs a result of renaming the plots, there is now nonces wasting space instead of being usefull. By truncating the program is able to remove any nonces not within the new plot Flow chartThe program gets the plotfile’s size. The program calculated the amount of real nonces contained within the plot file, by dividing the plotfiles’s size by 256 kb (1 nonce). Renames the plotfile to the number of real nonces, while still being a multiplier of the stagger. Truncates the plot, by deleting any unused nonces. How to use1. download PlotsChecker to c:\ 2. run cmd.exe 3. type c:\PlotsChecker d:\Burst\plots (in case if your plots in folder d:\Burst\plots), press Enterhttps://github.com/Blagodarenko/PlotsCheckerthanks @FrilledShark for help
