1  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [101 GH/s] ABCPool.co - The NEW 0% fee PPS pool; with stales as bonus! on: August 22, 2011, 01:24:35 AM
In incidental cases, account balances have also increased more than they should have. As a token of gratitude to our early users we will leave these balances as they are. Cheers!
I'm not sure where you guys get the money to run a 0% fee PPS pool and still be generous, but you guys certainly are. It's not much coming from one machine, but I just bumped my donations to 5%. Stay awesome!

>Current Hashrate:0 GH/s

And my GUIMiner gets stuck on "Connecting". What's going on?
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mental Bitcoin Wallet: I have real bitcoins stored in my head. on: August 11, 2011, 07:49:03 AM
Perhaps I need to offer my paper bitcoin wallet generator in a free web-based edition.

Please, please do.
4  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Flexcoin is LIVE to everyone! on: August 11, 2011, 05:23:57 AM
Question, why has the terminology changed from "interest" to "discount" on the banking interface?
I think (but I'm certainly not the man running Flexcoin, so I can't know for sure) that this simply covers transaction fees, not actually adding to your account. That is, the "discount" will be used to pay fees instead of your credit.

Hey! It's cool that the top 30 hashrates doesn't show inactive people anymore, but it looks awkward for the Onion winners to be below the Top 30 most shares.
6  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [2 BTC Bonus next 2 rounds ~14GHs] SIMPLECOIN.US - Live Stats/JSON/SSL/LP/GPL on: July 20, 2011, 09:40:17 AM
Oh boy I won the Onion! xD

Although it looks like my stale count has magically gone down (seriously, I have no clue why). GuiMiner shows 50 stale and over 2050 accepted.

That's really odd. I have 13 stales on my main miner after 1 day. PM me your IP so I can have the colo try to track down any routing problems. Also, it wouldn't hurt to know what miner you are using, and cpu or gpu mining. Also, have you tried restarting your miner (could be LP issues)?

Restarted it, and just looking quickly I have 35 Accepted and 19 Stale.  IP is 98.232.43.92, and I'm using a phatk Pheonix miner under guiminer. In case it matter what hardware, it's a 5750.

Yeah, I'm getting a lot of stale shares on this, and not a lot at bitcoin.lc (I have them set as a backup miner). Almost 25% for you guys, and less than 2% on bitcoin.lc

Any idea what's going on?
9  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~14GHs] SIMPLECOIN.US - 1 BTC Bonus next 2 rounds - JSON/SSL/LP/Opensource on: July 18, 2011, 04:20:44 AM
I'd prefer pure estimates, but I'm not a powerful hasher right now, so if other people disagree they're higher priority.
10  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~12GHs] SIMPLECOIN.US - 1 BTC Bonus next 2 rounds - 0%/JSON/SSL/LP/Opensource on: July 17, 2011, 02:26:58 AM
Do confirms usually take this long or is it only because we're a small pool?
11  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [19GHs] SIMPLECOIN.US - 3 BTC Bonus this round - 0%/JSON/SSL/LP/Opensource on: July 15, 2011, 11:21:19 PM
It's not much, but I decided to throw my rig back at you guys, at least while you have the bounty.
12  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [19GHs] SIMPLECOIN.US - BTC prizes - JSON/SSL/LP/Opensource on: July 15, 2011, 04:33:08 AM
I don't have any complaints with the pool except its size. I love that everything is open source. The graphs are cool, and the fact that it actually shows how many shares I have is wonderful (frowning at you, bitcoin.lc). But as I only have a few hundred Mhash/s, I can't really afford to not hit blocks.
13  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / One graphics card mining multiple pools on: July 15, 2011, 04:18:02 AM
Using GUIMiner this doesn't work out so well. One pool always gets ~150 MHash/s while the other gets ~10MHash/s. What causes this imbalance? Any way to fix it?
14  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [19GHs] SIMPLECOIN.US - BTC prizes - JSON/SSL/LP/Opensource on: July 15, 2011, 04:11:44 AM
I know it scared me off. If I see you guys start hitting blocks again I would be willing to move back, but I'm just not seeing it right now.
15  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~620Gh/s] Bitcoins.lc - No invalid blocks, Instant payout, EU, IPv6, 0% fee, LP on: July 15, 2011, 03:08:40 AM
This is just my luck. Get a few friends together, all using our gaming rigs to mine, right after you guys got the previous block and suddenly no coins for 22 hours. -_-. Let's end this bad luck and get me some money!

The whole site is going to be down for 30 min?
It's already back up.

Feel free to start using that word on your own. You know you want to.
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Posting Permission on: July 14, 2011, 07:23:15 AM
I know that we need 5 posts & 4 hours before we are allowed to post, but how is it handled?

Does the forum automagically grant us permissions, or do I have to send a request to a moderator, or something like that?
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I become a non-Newbie? on: July 12, 2011, 03:50:24 PM
Every post counts as a post. All posts were created equal.
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What would you buy with bitcoins? on: July 12, 2011, 06:59:24 AM
I know I'm going to be exchanging it for dollars, and then buying more miners from Newegg. Pure profit industry.
