1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's stop comparing Bitcoin to Ethereum or any other Cryptos on: January 23, 2019, 09:49:49 PM
This is a good idea. Unfortunately  Internet (as well as this forum) is full of similar comparisons. People really just share their ignorance with each other.
Paying attention at this point, we can conclude that people need to be more familiar with the technology itself (as well as all newcomers must first deal with this).
I know that a lot of people came to the crypto world only because they wanted to get rich quickly and effortlessly. This unfortunately demonstrates the fact of how lazy people are.
Personally I, before thinking about any purchases and sales, I studied the essence of technology, then I began to conduct a fundamental analysis of major currencies, and only after that I figured out how to buy them and start trading them.
In my opinion, the steps that I took made predetermined my place in crypto trading. All that I can do now for others is to write in those  "comparative" topics that it is impossible to compare currencies, which, incidentally, I do  Wink
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the obstacle of Bitcoin? on: January 23, 2019, 09:30:46 PM
Of course, the desire to make money on Bitcoin has a strong influence on its price. And the lack of appropriate regulatory laws allows major players to manipulate price with impunity.
But with all this, it's hard for me to blame people for this. Money is the source of modern life. Each of us has to pay for almost everything, and it makes people look for ways to make money.
So it is time to introduce regulatory laws into the world of crypto currencies, only in this way can prices be made more stable, which will help the mass adoption of crypto currencies.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can ETF Decision make a negative impact? on: January 23, 2019, 09:23:15 PM
I think that immediately after making a positive decision, prices may grow temporary. On the one hand, this is a great opportunity for everyone to sell their Bitcoin at higher prices, on the other hand, such a decision should really attract new investors.
Since now none of us don’t know any details, it’s hard to even talk about how exactly Bitcoin ETF will affect the bidding process. So if such a decision will be made, then we will be able to find out all the details only after that.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will SEC approve BITCOIN ETF ? on: January 23, 2019, 09:12:37 PM
As we see now for several reasons, it is impossible to make a Bitcoin ETF decision. The first reason is that the US government is now blocked and physically unable to review any projects. The second reason is that Gabor Gurbacs, VanEck's digital asset strategy director, said they temporarily withdrew their bid. And only after continuing negotiations with the SEC, they will provide a new proposal.
So for now, we just have to wait, and then, based on the general situation, it will be possible to conclude how the decision of the SEC will affect the price of crypto currencies.
5  Economy / Speculation / Re: January...The Next Few Weeks Will Be Crucial on: January 23, 2019, 06:13:13 PM
At the moment, even the decision of the ETF is not able to significantly affect the price of Bitcoin.
Of course, if ETF accepts Bitcoin, then this will improve people's attitude towards it, but in the near future, in my opinion, it will not be able to significantly raise the price of Bitcoin. I think that the interest of large investors is involved here and they are interested in buying Bitcoin at low prices.
If the ETF Bitcoin is not accepted, then it will reduce the price for it but still the price will not fall below a certain limit (I assume that this is an area of 2900$).
That is, in general, I agree with your opinion and after some time the situation in the market will change for the better anyway.

And in the light of recent events with the US government, there is a high probability that all decisions on ETF Bitcoin, as well as the launch of Bakkt, will not be made soon.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin ever exist in currency notes? on: January 23, 2019, 05:54:47 PM
Of course, bitcoins will not be issued in banknotes. There is no point in this and in general it contradicts the ideas of Bitcoin. Why spend money printing banknotes?
ATMs are working very simply. You give the ATM paper money (dollars, euros, or other currencies that accept this ATM) and it transfers the bitcoins to the wallet address you specify. There are also ATMs with the help of which you can transfer Bitcoins from your Bitcoin wallet to fiat currency, which the ATM will issue to you.
There are different versions of ATMs that have different specifications.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin holders will betray bitcoin one day on: January 23, 2019, 05:43:11 PM
Most investors buy Bitcoin for the sole purpose of getting rich thanks to it. And it is quite justified. Under the conditions of our life, money is needed in all its spheres. Therefore, people have no choice but to constantly try to earn as much money as possible (but of course there are exceptions).
As long as Bitcoin will have value and it will be possible to earn money with it, people will hold it. But as soon as Bitcoin runs out and a new opportunity appears, most people will sell it. In this I see nothing wrong, this is life and the search for gains for the sake of survival. And it is impossible to call betrayal.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Open your eyes! on: January 23, 2019, 05:34:55 PM
On the contrary, right now, when the price is down, large investors are trying to accumulate as many bitcoins as possible, in my opinion. I think this is more logical. Why should big investors buy bitcoin when it will be expensive?
But I clearly feel that sooner or later large investors will have the bulk of bitcoins in their hands.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cannot Die. It is Impossible. Under Any Circumstances. on: January 23, 2019, 05:28:37 PM
Thank you for the video. I understand everything that you wanted to tell and I respect your point of view.
Bitcoin as an idea gave rise to the entire crypto industry. Therefore, in this sense, I'm sure that he will live for a very long time. It is even difficult for me to imagine those times when humanity will become so developed that crypto currency will become a relic of the past. But I can't say that Bitcoin will live forever.
Once paying with paper money, instead of gold, was an incredible innovation, but now we are already talking about the reality when paper money will become unnecessary, because even now you can live using only cryptocurrency.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: majority will lose money and minds on: January 23, 2019, 05:03:04 PM
Thank you for your opinion. Everyone has the right to it.
I think that you take the trade is very simplistic. You don't take into account the option when people buy and sell bitcoins all the time. That is, instead of buying Bitcoin at 100$ and selling at 20,000$, I, for example, bought it for 100$  — sold it at 200$, bought it back at 120$ — sold it at 300$, bought it back at 150$ — sold it at 450$, etc. This is just a primitive example of how, on the road to 20,000$, anyone can earn on the purchase / sale of Bitcoin. All that is needed for this is knowledge and experience. I think you have neither. I don't want to offend you with this, I just want to show you that with knowledge you could look at Bitcoin from different sides and understand that you can constantly earn money on it (like in any other currency). And even if the time comes when Bitcoin goes into non-existence, until then you can earn hundreds of thousands of dollars (or even millions).
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is this the right time to explain about bitcoin to others..? on: January 23, 2019, 04:48:36 PM
If you correctly explain about Bitcoin, then hardly anyone would consider it a scam. First of all, in my experience, it is difficult for people to understand how something intangible ("what??! digital money??! wtf??!") can bring real money. That is what needs to be properly explained.
Next, acquaint with the history of the creation of Bitcoin and tell about the reasons for its appearance, about what problems it can solve. It is necessary to show how much people benefit from the fact that they pay something in Bitcoins, rather than using traditional bank transfers.
And only after the person realizes all this and understands, it makes sense to talk about the cost of Bitcoin and that its price can vary greatly. I think if you, as a person who wants to tell people around him about Bitcoin, really believe in Bitcoin and in his future, then you will find the right words to convey your faith to the people to whom you are telling about it. Good luck!
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, governments on: January 23, 2019, 04:36:19 PM
I think that governments and banks have been accumulating bitcoins for a long time. Perhaps that’s why the norms for bitcoin regulation, prohibition of fraudulent schemes for trading on the exchanges have not been adopted for so long. Until now, there are a number of countries that prohibit any bitcoin operations for their citizens. After all, while there are no proper laws, many people will consider cryptocurrency dangerous and uninteresting and, accordingly, such an idea about them will not buy them. This in turn allows governments, banks and the rich people to accumulate bitcoins and, in parallel, make money on them. After all, let's face it, you or I, for example, with your own 10, 20, 50 bitcoins, not will be able to significantly influence the rate of bitcoin.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too many speculators in the cryptospace? on: January 23, 2019, 04:25:20 PM
I still think that only small investors participate in the discussions that we can see on the forums, on twitter and in the telegram groups. Indeed, most of them are speculators. But it is quite justified. After all, our whole life, the solution to all problems, in most cases rests on the money issue. Therefore, most people consider crypto currency as an opportunity to somehow improve the quality of their life. I believe that no one has the moral right to accuse them of this desire.

I think that some of the small investors and many medium and large investors simply accumulate some cryptocurrencies.

As for the impact on volatility, it is primarily provided by large investors, who, based on their plans, are pushing the price in the right for them direction. And small investors simply pick up the trend, since most of them are hostages of the situation, they just dream to improve quality of life  their family ...
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin with real gold on: January 17, 2019, 07:48:35 PM
To this I would also like to add a few thoughts for reflection.
Now gold has moved into the class of investment assets. Bitcoin and gold have two similar characteristics: they have limited reserves and have approximately the same value in different countries of the world.
Once upon a time, mankind used gold as a means of payment, but over time, due to inconvenience, this changed. Already, paper money is not always convenient to use, so the transition to electronic currencies is just a matter of time. And the main contender for this will be Bitcoin. Already now there is an opportunity to pay for goods and services by Bitcoin.
Therefore, I support a positive attitude towards Bitcoin and the future market situation!
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When people say Bitcoin is dead, make sure to show them this... on: January 17, 2019, 06:34:14 PM
Thanks for the chart. The best thing to do is to hold on to your bitcoin with the belief that the price will definitely rise one day. Selling your bitcoin cheap or at a loss is like throwing it away and you have not lost anything until you decide to sell it at a loss. Bitcoin has died several times and yet waxing strong.
I believe in Bitcoin and in the fact that in the coming years it will not have equal crypto currencies. Of course you can just hold. But in my opinion it is boring and in the end you will still be left only with the number of bitcoins with which you were at the beginning. Personally, I prefer to trade. It doesn't matter that I bought 1 Bitcoin, for example, for $ 5000. If I constantly sell it and buy (successfully) even at prices below the incoming price, then in the end result I have the opportunity to increase the initial number of bitcoins. Therefore, in the future, I will get much more profit than if I were just holding.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WIll ETH pass BTC in 2019 ? on: January 16, 2019, 09:34:04 PM
Yesterday, this centralized currency once again proved that its development team openly and unprincipledly manipulates the market only in their personal interests. What is the main interest is that, to earn for themselves.
And in general, if you take into account many factors, then the ether will never reach the heights of Bitcoin.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH return to 1000 USD after hardfork? on: January 16, 2019, 06:35:00 PM
Yes, the ether is a strong coin, but what's been happening to it lately makes me wonder. The second time was postponed Constantinople. The company ChainSecurity has provided evidence that this hardfork could allow hackers on the network to steal funds from users. Therefore, once again there is a question about the conscientiousness of the team of Ether. For me personally, as for a person who believes in a good future for the ether, these moments are unpleasant.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can you still get rich with crypto? on: January 16, 2019, 05:21:09 PM
First of all, the guarantee of your successful earnings will depend on the level of your professionalism. Of course, the more money will be invested by a professional, the greater will be his income. But if a person is a novice trader, then with the help of a small deposit he will increase his skill level and in the end, it will make sense to invest more money.
In order to become a successful trader in addition to knowledge, experience and skills, it takes time, with the help of which you will actually receive all of the above.
Today the market is in a bearish movement, so now there is time and conditions for gaining knowledge, experience and skills. Use it so that in the future it is easy to earn so much money that it will greatly increase your material condition.
I think that even with $ 1k in the crypto market it is possible to get rich but it just takes much more time then with $ 10-100k.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do You Think A Bull Run Is Really Coming on: January 16, 2019, 05:05:23 PM
I think that the day will come when the next pamp will begin. Today, the crypto market is still subject to manipulation, so large investors will act according to the old scheme. Of course we should not expect that this will happen in the near future. Now the market is relatively calm and there is no need to hurry anywhere, which means that now is a great time to get new knowledge and improve your skills.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is etherium good for long term on: January 16, 2019, 04:51:25 PM
The issue of trust in the crypto market is quite acute, and most market participants understand that there can not be 100% trust in anyone. Any project can fail. Therefore, only you can decide for yourself whether to trust you with the eth project or not.
I would also like to remind once again that investing in only one currency is a strategically wrong decision. No matter how strong your faith is, you need to diversify your investments. Invest in multiple currencies.
