661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you preffer your dealer talkative or not? on: January 24, 2024, 09:36:31 PM
Well it all about the entertainment so if the dealer can keep me entertained without trying to get me Carried away to lose why not, I welcome a talkative dealer at least the entire session won't be boring at all since we already know how some time those games can clogue our brains and at that point, there will be a need to get a motivation and enterment as long as gambling is concern.

But the aspect of that entertaining that I may not welcome is when the dealer try to go out of the fun part of the story and slide into something personal or security threats, because some times, those dealer's still tell us somethings about themselves and personal life which at some point it becomes nonsense to you as a gambler since your mind is already fixed on the games and not the stories.

We sent a message to the moderators, but have not received a reply (most probably because our account is new). If there are some reliable and recognized members in this forum, that are willing to work with us, please let us know.
I don't think the mods are going to answer on that aspect of things because some of them may have newbies on ignore for messaging so you may be right to say that you have not received feedback from the pm due to your rank.

Then again I will like to know what exactly you mean when you said if members are willing to work with you, they should contact you, because many times, we prefer to see a team making all the offers in an open thread such as this thread, so let see how things goes if yoy may want to open up your offers here.
663  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Opay SCAM...Beware!!! on: January 24, 2024, 11:09:06 AM
The title of this thread may be misleading, because you caption opay scam as if they are the one that is scamming people directly and for sure we are aware of this type of scam attempts, but then also I haven't come across this format before so it new to me, but technically I can't fall for this type of cheap scam attempts because with that I have to give access for my money to be transferred from the account.

But then also, is good thing that you brought this here and for sure this is going to help alot of us, to get info on the new format being used by scammers in recent times, once a while we all need to update ourselves on things liythis because the digital banking market place is getting bigger and more riskier than before.

665  Economy / Gambling / Re: How Crypto casino market themselves? on: January 23, 2024, 08:04:48 PM
I am curious to know who are their targeted audience and at what age group. In general gambling people target countries like thailand more but probably this is not the case with crypto. Do they target nerds or total dumbs? How efficient they are between their marketing tactics?

The big possibility is that they are looking for an audience that is old enough to qualify. There will definitely be a KYC request in terms of when playing on gambling sites, to ensure the maturity of all users and their target to the landmark Asian state because that is where the players and gambling enthusiasts are.  there are, even though some are legal, some are not illegal, so the conclusion is that they only target those states because it is much easier and the taxes given are likely to be very low, unlike in European states.
Asian states are preferred for gambling.  Because the people of this country are more addicted to gambling.  And especially young people are addicted to gambling.People in Asian states are addicted to gambling.  Gambling is played by people of all countries but people from Asian countries find gambling sites.  And younger people.
I won't advice us to take being active and casino friendly country citizens as addict's and for that, we have to align every necessary  description to what we say or do when it comes to issues of addictions and gambling because when you take every activities in gambling as sign of addictions so for that let leave Asian citizens out of any addiction claims just because of they over invomennt in gambling.

Those countries and it citizen's are just highly involved in gambling because of the law that allows them and giving that total freedom to gamble the way they want at all time, so we have to be able to say that why casino's have visible promotions in that country is due that thay fact also.
666  Economy / Gambling / Re: tell me the best online casino on: January 23, 2024, 07:49:38 PM
There are so many casinos that are in this platform that has some of these features and quality. Everything is left for op to decide what he really wanted and the reason why he is so interested in something like this. There are good casinos he can register on and starts using them so betting and other things which can bring him some profits if he knows how to gamble very well rather than looking for the best. I think he should be ready to go for KYC verification because most of the good casinos out there are not KYC free.
Well some of them that we have on this forum that are functioning pretty well and could be a good recommendation for the ops and if everything being Equal then he should already have his best preference by now since we have several good replies already, but also I wil like to advice the ops to get and extra time to search out all the recommendations to know which he make his decision on because following others recommendations will lead to more risk that the ops could bear at the end.

It's very simple to get this things going easily and this board is one of the place to get the beat possible list of trusted casino and all that is needed is to put extra efforts in discoverying them.
667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion || Current Topic: AFCON 2023 on: January 22, 2024, 06:58:33 PM
It seems that the supper eagles are going to walk away with the 1:0 goals score in this much just like what their did in they last match when their won with same goals scores, although I don't know what to say if to say a congratulations or which them future best outcome, because if super eagles are struggling with goals in this stage of the tournament, which have more weak team on this group, which is not is uptainable in the next round.

This makes it hard for them to make it out of the next round, but all good that the qulify in this stage of the  tournament.
668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Increased Gambling Risk for the Younger Generation on: January 22, 2024, 06:48:44 PM
The most dangerous thing is underage gamblers, only the role of parents and those closest to them can stop them, but this is very difficult to overcome because of the easy access to open casino sites, especially nowadays, the average small child can hold their smartphone very easily. to access whatever they want, so be careful with your child, always supervise him closely
For a fact that gambling comes with alot of pressure it becomes evil for underage kids since they can't control they emotions at that age, for one to attempt to gamble you need to be 18+ because at that age at least you should be able to handle risk and being able to make your own money to gamble with, this is very important because if you as perants introduced gambling to your kids at younger age than 17 down, it may be very dangerous for them.

This is why we need to do everything with discretion and privacy watching what we do in the presence of our kids, because it will have direct influence on them and in the future it may become a problem for both us and the society at large.

670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich, average or poor. Who loses more? on: January 22, 2024, 05:25:42 PM

Edith
So to get your point clear, you saying that the poor have higher chances of losing than the rich everage guy?

I use to have that same thoughts also when I was responding to this question earlier, because being poor, the gambler is at higher pressure to win at all cost and we know what that kind of mindset leads to all promatiitc gambling behaviour at some point in time, and also, when we talk about pressure I also believe that the poor gambler is also more at risk of phasing such pressure at some point in time so for that i will agree with you on the experience pf poor gambler to that of rich guy.
671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Social aspects of online gambling on: January 22, 2024, 05:07:59 PM

The new era was born with the online platform, many works now was done by the Artificial Intelligence. Some gambler also using the AI for the betting, but it was against the rules of gambling site. It’s hard to predict the outcome of the gambling betting, because the gambling site was created in the way of hard predictable one.The gamblers who had huge knowledge in the gambling industry were able to make money from the gambling sites. The gamblers should keep their strategies as the secret one, because the strategy of one gamblers will not suit to the game of the other gamblers. So use your own strategy to make money using the gambling sites.
Really alot have changed with this generation and many works are now done by third party artificial tools and for social it will bring alot of development and progress on the long run, but also I will like to know if we have some AI that can work on gambling because it quite a while now since we have being discussing here in the forum on the ability of AI to effect changing to the overall gambling experience since casinos have their own system on place that determine the probability fairness and what it stands to offers.

This is why, the usage or promotion of AI haven't gained alot of awareness lately and also haven't make any big significant impact to the overall outcome of gambling games, at some point in times.

An hour before going to a casino?
Excited for the winning that I expected because what some time motivate me to gamble most especially sports bet is my believes in my ability to make the right predictions and my expected winnings.
Quote
After logging in and pulling out the games you are about to play
I become more confident in my speculations and predictions and at that point try to place the bet fast so as to take the next available cash out since I will not be waiting till the end of the games.

While playing?
Time checking and availability of cash out funds.

After you experience successive losses?
I realise that gambling is no one mate anyways and no one can beat the house.

After you won successively?
Feeling hard I known to have staked all my balance I could have been a millionaire with the winning, bit then I am excited to have won on that day.

After you log out whether you win or lose?
Most time I give myself a space in-between to free my head before moving on to either withdraw my winnings or nouch my loses.
673  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Denying yourself comfortability in other to buy Bitcoin on: January 22, 2024, 04:37:50 PM
Obviously, the Michael Saylor chair meme was mostly (I think, at least) a joke as it's taking things too far. You just need to have a perfect balance between not spending money unnecessarily, but at the same time not depriving yourself too much of comfort and quality of life.
Very true with that, because stricking the right balance is what make us a organised and standard living, we don't need to hold all the coins in the world before giving ourselves the good life that we deserve, and more also there is no need to deprive ourselves of the essentall things of life just because we want to hold as much bitcoin as we can, this is very important and at the same time the guide that helps us to live a fulfilled life at the end.

Many times, it not the amount of money we spend in giving ourselves the basic comfort of life that affects our savings, but the amount that we waste buying unnecessary things that makes us not to arrive at that stage at some point.

So for me, I give myself the basic needed comfort in life but also monitoring my entire spending at all time, this has helped me alot of times before at least making leave happy while a hold the amount I am comfortable with.
674  Economy / Gambling / Re: MoonClub.com on: January 22, 2024, 04:28:38 PM
Welcome mate, I visited the site and it looks exciting, but then I will like to suggest two things for you to improve your ANN thread and presence here in the forum and those things are.

1: try to get a copper members rank status so that you can elevate your current rank to the higher one , were you can easily post images and other contents that are restricted to your current rank.

2: why do you need a self moderated thread when you can easily have a controlled ANN thread all you need is to be active and answering all necessary questions and putting claim's to rest.

675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Increased Gambling Risk for the Younger Generation on: January 22, 2024, 04:13:00 PM
Parents can control them if they want. Don’t give them money to gamble. If they won’t have any money, how can they gamble and become addict? Moreover the ad campaigns are the main culprit, for which these new generations are pulled to this gambling trap.
We can see many parents who are struggling about their kids. I think this also has to do of them being spoiled by us. So for those who are planning to have a child, they must avoid this as early as possible. Some kids are too wise, that they know how to access our wallets.

Also there is a free version of gambling games which are available in the store (for phones and pc). They can still play it and develop an addiction by there. Most ads are based only on our activity but the thing is that there are so many influencers now who promote a casino. And a kid can see them anytime. But there must be a social media app for kids which filters these kind of adult contents.
For me, child training is something that has to do with time and early capturing of the child, because most of the times, majority of the things that our kids does are learned from the perants and for such alot of them will only copy from the father mother or any of the adults that are around them, this is why we need to handle kids as young as possible because if we failed to handle them it will become difficult to control them when their have already grown up and it could be an impossible thing trying to control them or telling them what is wrong and what is right at the same times teaching them all the fundamentals that they need to grow with as they journey along in real life, this is most important and ket fundamental foundations for parenting.
676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making too many picks reduces chances of winning. on: January 22, 2024, 03:50:37 PM
~snip~
We can't just conclude that making too many picks can make us to loses more when we bet. Things are different the way we bets is different also. Some persons belief that if they pick more games or matches, their possibility of winning would be low while others thing the opposite is the case. We don't need to affirm it to everyone pointing that if we choose more games we could lose more. Professional gamblers does not care about how many games we are selecting but only after the sure and predictable games. Any how we choose to bet is all left to us and we don't have to see other people as doing the wrong things.
Yes, we really can't just conclude because each person will be different in their choice of betting. But by choosing small bets and with small amounts of money, at least we have minimized the amount of money lost because we are cautious in placing bets. We don't want to experience many losses just because we want to win, even though we know that when placing bets on sports matches, we need to make an analysis that will give us which team has a chance of winning. Professional gamblers also won't take too big a risk by choosing a lot of matches, especially if they don't know much about each team that will compete. They are better off placing bets on teams they know because that can increase their chances of winning.
Why many will advice that you chose only few bets preferably 1 single bet is because, by doing so you are limiting your chances of losing the bet on the long run, and also if you stake a small amount, you won't be affected by the outcome of the bet so much, since you are not expecting too much big winning in the first place.

So when the winning comes you celebrate it and when you lose, you need to just man up to the situations at all time, so same goes to the multiple games selections, once you chose to many games, you will likely gona lose at the end.
677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your altcoin holding with low value on: January 22, 2024, 03:33:18 PM
Or are you just carried away by a hype and holding on to a worthless coin which will never amount to anything good on the long run, this are what make ls up for our mindsets when discussing this subject of altcoins holdings since the majority of them are just hypes and pumped, dumped coins that are now worthless and have no chances of recovering.

So first ask yourself which coineare you holdinyand what are the values of those coins, because it in holding the right coins, that you get the right gains on the long run, this is what many altcoins holders dont understand.

There is no need to hodle a token or a coin that has no value in the market but whereby the coin has a low value at the moment but it looks like it will have good value in the future then it is good to continue hodle the coin. Altcoins holdings is good but the fear is that  we have seen a lot of tokens and altcoins collapsed along the line and some of them have even stayed a long time in the industry but could not survive. So long staying and short staying in the altcoins market is nothing but a legit or a good trusted altcoins are worth investing for.

Observe well before investing in altcoins. "Not all that glitters is gold". Some are imitation and imitations never last in the market because it is not the original.
Agreed no need, but for some reasons, you may end up holding those coins in your wallet and there is nothing you can do about it, this has been the experience of every altcoin investor or airdrop hunters in the past, they got paid in those worthless coins who never made it to the exchange, or crashing immediately after their hit the exchange without any sign of recovery at any point in time.

Sometimes also we need to chose from which coin that we ready to hold at any point in time before we dive into them, because, the moment we already received them in the wallet, their is nothing we can do about than them becoming spams in our wallets.

Or unless the ops will be willing to pay the gas fees to send the coins back to the smart contract that send them in the first place.
678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your state on mind if your son stole your money to gamble? on: January 22, 2024, 03:23:28 PM
-----
I understand what you meant, but the mistakes isn't always in our' sides. Some peple taught their kids to not gamble by explaining the disadvantages, but some people remain silent because they think the kids might be safer to not introduce them about gambling. Their curiosity is really high, most of them will try to discover by themselves when they heard from other people including their parents.
I agreed with that fact that kids are open to alot of external influences and if not well grounded they could easily get influenced by negative habits such as the stealing we saw in this case, so for us to be able to truly define the concept and characteristics that leads the son taking money parents to gamble with, so I may not blame the parents entirely for this.

But also we have to accept the fact that, hard it been the perants have taken the time to teach the son the danger of gambling and it addictions and how it effects our general well being, this is what would have protected the child outside since the lesson will form his mindset when he is introduced to such things outside.
679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your altcoin holding with low value on: January 22, 2024, 02:41:01 PM
For those of us that are into altcoin signature campaign and have accumulate some in your wallet, what do you do with it since some of them has low value at the moment if you check their current price?

Do you keep holding it hoping that the price will finally come up since it seems you can't actually trade it with it current value.

Will the altcoin become valueless after the campaign is over or could still gain value after some years.
The truth is, are this coins of any value and have you understand the market dynamics of the coins and how best to stay in profits.

680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How you can build trust in the crypto community? on: January 22, 2024, 02:31:42 PM
The only trust that exists here in in yourself because cryptocurrency itself istrusless, and unless it follows the concessuceship it doesn't make valid verifiable point, so as long as you have this understanding in place, you will not be making any posible mistakes that can lead to loses for you in the long run, this is because at that point you already risking it.

So first once you mentained a high privacy and try to go legit by not being too greedy, on the long run, you become familiar with you cryptocurrency community being able to attract with one another and also making sure that you are not greedy and be legit yourself.

This way you can easily build your trust portfolio and manage any risks that you think you can manage at that point in time.
