801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you blame someone for your gambling losses? on: January 09, 2024, 11:24:30 PM
I believe that you, me and everyone on this thread have been deceived, used and discarded at some point in their lives and must have blamed the person who deceived them. I will give practical examples, many people have cars, but they are not mechanics, they don't know how to fix the car when it has a problem, which is why people take their cars to the workshop to be repaired. so if a person takes it to a scammer's workshop and they damage that person's car, then it wasn't the fault of that person who owns the car, it's the fault of the scammer who owns the workshop, so much so that when the case comes to court, the judge condemns the scammer is sentenced to prison and does not condemn or criticize the car owner

The same thing applies to people who lie to their friends saying that they can play at some casino because they will get guaranteed profits, when that is not true. There are many YouTube channels that talk about football and sports betting, the owner of the channel makes live bets and bets a lot of money and then encourages people to use the sports betting site that is linked to his channel because a site that partnered with his channel, but he doesn't say that on that sports betting site he isn't using money from his pocket, the site is giving him money to bet, so when people lose money on that site, it's his fault, because he lied saying that people would make money, when it is not true.
Most times,  it's easy to say which and who to blame for some circumstance that happens around us,  and for sure all you illustration are correct and accurate,  but also we as a user need to improve in our level of awareness take a car owner for instance,  even though you are not the mechanic but courtesy demands that you as a user need to have your own experiences about the car to be able to detect any fault with the car and also try to solve them intellectually.

I remember some time ago when I was a victim a car mechanic scammer,  he use to tell me what was not wrong with the car and because I lack experience back then,  he duped me a lot of times,  until I now have the experience to detect what wrong with my car by observations.
802  Economy / Gambling / Re: MEGA:PARI |SPORTS & CASINO| SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN on: January 09, 2024, 11:08:07 PM
I believe that someone has already asked, so I apologize if I am repeating the same thing.
Why is it possible to play games or place bets only in local fiat currency? Why, for example, can't I do that in one of the cryptocurrencies?
At some point, I tried to withdraw, but unsuccessful. No matter, but now after that attempt, my funds on the account are converted into local fiat currency, and I don't see anywhere the options to convert back to crypto. Am I not seeing something?

Hi! Thanks for your question. In MegaPari, we offer the flexibility to play with both fiat currency and cryptocurrencies.
If your account's main currency is fiat, crypto deposits convert to fiat. However, if you prefer to use cryptocurrencies directly, you can easily switch your active account currency to a cryptocurrency of your choice in your profile settings.

If you need additional assistance with this question, we are always here to provide support.
I have used and still using some of the multiple currencies listed on MEGAPARI casino and I must say that the casino has one of the most accessible payment systems with a variety of currencies and using both cryptocurrency and fiat currency at the casino is something that I highly commend the for.

I came across this casino during the first phase of their review campaign and I have to say that, since then have been attracted to this casino, and I am stopping by in here to share my good wishes and happy new year to the mega pari team.
803  Economy / Gambling / Re: Responsible gambling on: January 09, 2024, 10:55:20 PM

Yes, if you have that kind of mentality then you will enjoy your winnings, seeing that you manage yo buy something out from your gambling sessions is something that will boost you, I mean each time you are winning and you manage to withdraw and use it for another type of enjoyment that's really enjoyable right? And you are satisfying your gambling activities.  Just avoid getting too much attachments as it can lead you to addiction that not meant to happen.
The thing I do most times is to always set aside a portion of each of my winnings to purchase some other assets and make sure that I have the reserves to keep me going without looking back at the investment on a long-term basis,  and one of the ways I invest such money is to buy assets like gold or do a project that can help elevate my financial well being at some point so as not to be under any pressure if I never record such winning again for some time.

Many times,  I have seen that most gamblers use to make the mistake of leaving their winning in the casino,  even when the money accumulated is already huge enough to offset them into something better but choose to risk leaving it in the casino where there are possible tendency of gambling away the entire balance just with just one temptation.
804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy BNB now? on: January 09, 2024, 10:30:12 PM
The call is on you man,  no one will teach you what to do with your money and this is investment and as you know,  cryptocurrency investment comes with high risk and for that,  many people are against advising others to avoid making them fall into wrong hands and get blamed for that.

That is the reason we always call for doing your own research at all times to avoid getting misled at some point since we may possibly have some members who may be chilling for the coin and will tell you what will favour them and not you.

BNB is already a well-known coin and if you talking about long-term investment,  then I can say choosing the coin may be ok after considering all the risks involved.
805  Economy / Gambling / Re: Greetings from Bets.io on: January 09, 2024, 10:17:00 PM

You are right about the wagering requirement for the deposit bonus. I think it is a standard for most casinos and for Bets.io, the wagering requirement is 40x. You can find the full details of the terms and conditions of the deposit bonus through this link. I think this is one of the highest I have seen in the industry. Anyone who fulfils the wagering condition will be able to make a huge amount of money and I'm looking forward to making good use of the opportunity.
I am very aware of the presence of wager as a requirement on all bonuses,  but the thing also that we use to estimate the success of any bonus promotion is how those who subscribe to that bonus can get positive results and outcomes from it,  and also we have to refocus on several most important things also,  which are things like how many x wagers are attached to the bonus and how to do the casino threat those players that subscribe to that bonuses,  this and many more are what gamblers look into when choosing a bonus.
806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 09, 2024, 09:45:56 PM

Manchester City is the leading team to win the championship trophy this season, although currently they are still behind Liverpool and Aston Villa in the standings table, but I think Manchester City will return to leading the standings in the next few matches. Now what the competing teams have to focus on is maintaining their consistency in every match they play. Like Liverpool, they look very ready to become champions this season, but they have to see that the road to becoming champions is still quite long, so they must not lose points in every match they play because it will have fatal consequences if that happens.

Manchester City are no longer the powerhouse we saw dominate the premier league for four seasons in a row. Losing Mahrez, Gundogan, etc. really affected the team’s performance this season because Manchester City were playing better than they are performing now without the departed players. I am looking forward to one or two additions this January for Manchester City to boost the team’s competitiveness.
Regardless of what it is,  we must take note of the fact that no champion reigns for ever and for Manchester City,  the club have really tried to have creates a record of consecutive winning the trophy, which is something that we need to commend them for,  and since we understand how football works,  we have to accept the current condition of Manchester City and now that they are struggling even with the smallest clubs shows that a lot has changed for Manchester City in this season.

Although Manchester City still has some good time to recover and maintain its position,  but also we have to look at the possibility of other clubs winning the league also in this season,  maybe,  that will speak more of sportive vibes in football.
807  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you want to see in casino reviews? on: January 09, 2024, 09:28:43 PM

3. What should a casino review contain to make you read it?

Firstly, the review must be unbiased. It's really easy to find when a review is paid or motivated by external factors. Secondly, the review must focus on both the features as well as the cons. It's never a good look for a review to only point out the negatives or positives because then it again falls into the biased review category.

The review must mention whether KYC is needed or not, this is important for me at least. Because I would rather play at a reputed fiat casino if I am going to submit my documents.

I hardly read reviews but I do google the casino name to see any red flags when I am going to play at a new casino.
Very correct about that,  it very easy to spot which reviews are real and the once that are paid for,  most times,  it necessary not to trust the online third-party reviews for whatever reasons,  and at some point you need to go extra mile to discover the actuall nature of the casino before you gamble on them and not rely on anyone or group opinions.

And if you must seek for helps in terms of what you except from the casino,  the best way to get those kind of information is via other real users of the casinos,  because they are the only one with the real time experience of the site.
808  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the bull run begun ? on: January 09, 2024, 09:14:43 PM
With the current performance of Bitcoins, should we say that the Bitcoin bull run has begun or we should expect the real bull run  after the halving as usual.
The current market state is already bringing joy, is this a sort of trap or what could have led to the current positive market performance.

I do really think, sharing experience can help one learn and avoid the shock of greediness on investment. Tell us your view on bitcoins market performance recently

We aren't on the bullrun yet, before we can accept that bitcoin bullrun had begun, then we have to first got to where we are coming from which is the bitcoin last all time high of $69,000 and then anything we are having above that could be termed as a new all time high after which the halving would have taken place and bullrun had fully begun, this is what will make every long time holders profitable as the bitcoin value increases.
Yes until Bitcoin touched $69k price only then we can be clear of the next bull market for sure we are nowhere near that price yet and we are going to be taking some time to arrive at that moment,  there is no sign of that happening right now so we have to wait some time to arrive at that,  and also if we have the two most anticipated events ahead,  it shows that we have a good potential that can trigger the next price all-time high when they occur.

Events such as the next Bitcoin halving,  and also United States sec Bitcoin ETF approval if these two events happen,  we may likely see the next Bitcoin at an all-time high soon.
809  Economy / Speculation / Re: will the btc price reach 100k ? on: January 09, 2024, 08:47:13 PM
Anything and everything is possible mate. No one expected Bitcoins to touch 1k usd during 2010-11. But it has not astonished everyone by touching 69k usd in few years. So yes the price is really not very predictable. You need to show trust on the coin and keep on investing it for long term. You need to make your basics clear that Bitcoins are limited in number and the demand to accumulating it is increasing day by day among the people. Hence in order to maintain the demand the price will go up. So invest accordingly.
That the essence of Bitcoin volatilities and reason why no one can predict the price of Bitcoin,  and what price it will be in the future and $100k Bitcoin price is very achievable and no one of us can tell when exactly that time will be,  but then also if we take a close look at Bitcoin previous market performance and it recorded all time high price you will be sure that the next Bitcoin all time high may stop at that price prediction,  arriving at $100,000 benchmark is very much achievable at some point when the all time high price will happens.

Any ways also we may have to look at timing and when the next all time high price will be and what price it will actually stop,  some speculators are already eyeing 150k but I thing that is 2x of the previous all-time high price which is a little bits high for me,  but 100k is sure to be reached.
810  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who does gambling addiction affect the most? on: January 09, 2024, 07:06:44 PM
So I want to ask, between the gambling addict and his immediate family, who does the addiction affect the most?
The gambling addict will suffer if he continues to gamble, but if he is the bread winner of his family as a husband and his wife is not financially okay, the children and the wife may also later be affected. In a family where the father and mother do not depend on the child, they have nothing to suffer. But anyone that depends on a gambling addict and if the gambling addict is severely affected, those that depend on the addict may suffer financially. That is why it is not good to be dependent but also not good to waste money on gambling so that those that depend on your will also not suffer.
Very true about that,  as a man one need to struggle as much as he can to be on top of the game,  never allow anything to control you,  and put the welfare of your family first,  one of the things that have affected some of the gambling addicts that I have seen is the fact that,  most of them are young people without their own personal family and sometime they don't have any dependant on them and that fuel their addictions when the lack the personal responsibility aside family,  this set of gamblers can waste any amount on a bet without looking back,  and some they have nothing left for even themselves.

So for that,  it is highly recommended that as a gambler,  one must be seself-disciplinednd avoid any possible chances that can usher in any form of addiction in the long run,  since is far better to avoid getting into addictions than trying to get out of it at some point.
811  Economy / Gambling / Re: Does anyone find the spate of online casinos a bit uninspired? on: January 09, 2024, 06:38:37 PM

That's true, we shouldn't watch things happen like that, we have to be part of what is making them happen, gambling has bring alot of opportunities to the society and this online gambling in particular is what some people have find pleasure with to make sure they always gamble as long as they are having access to their device and the internet because of the comfortability, many wouldn't have been privileged to be a gambler if the online crypto gambling had not been introduced.
At the moment we have what we call gambling hypes,  and this hypes is as a result of a multiple factors, cryptocurrency adoption by casinos is one of the biggest players and factors that have pushed the popularity of online casinos forward,  and at some point, we have to accept that rear fact,  but much more also is the fact that the covid19 lockdown have also contributed to that also.

So instead of being afraid of the increase in the presence of online casinos,  we should be looking for ways to properly take advantage of the system and make the fun worthwhile.

Many time we have failed fo fully utilize the opportunities and advantages that comes along with some developments due to our fear,  I still remember in the early days of the internet where my elder bro warn me never to use the internet that it was an evil development,  but today the same person who had such misconceptions about a development at that time is now so much use to the internet that he can not finish sharing the many positive advantages and he is fully utilizing them at the moment to support his business.

So same is true with the increased presence of online casinos,  instead of being afraid of what the negative impact on the society will be,  I think is better we embrace it and try to look for ways to protect ourselves in such a situation.
812  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who does gambling addiction affect the most? on: January 09, 2024, 04:58:09 PM
My father used to give me an illustration whenever he want to pass a strong message on being a responsible person and he goes like this.

My father:  Son if you want to gift me a car,  you will drive to deliver it to me right?

Me:  Yes of course.

Father lesson:

Son, you will always be the first beneficiary of whatever actions you take regardless of who the action is for.

This lesson is vital,  so relating it to our discussions on who suffers most from addictions I say the gambler is the must hit because he is the sole victim and whatever comes it first him before any other person.

814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 08, 2024, 05:15:32 PM

Ok that is quite optimistic because I think that no team so far has ever won the treble twice in a row. Solely based on statistics I think that this statement is doomed to turn out to be wrong, but for as long as Manchester City is around and in the position to win all of the titles, there is nothing that speaks against them doing it. Whether they will, I don't know. But we can see that the competition in the Premier League has become incredibly tough and in the Champions League, there are a couple of clubs that I think are on the same level as Manchester City. Definitely Real Madrid I think.
Yeah mate my statement is just based on speculations and assumptions and nothing more than that,  because we have already multiple factors that may prevent that occurrence from happening and as the season goes going more or more limits may be placed on Manchester City that will prevent them from achieving that records of maintaining that position for multiple of time.

But also we can't outrightly write them off either since at the moment,  Manchester City is the defending champion and is more likely perceived as the closest club to the title since they hold the title currently.
815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you find new meme coins early? on: January 08, 2024, 05:06:55 PM
I think anyone want to invest in the meme coin my experience is that first  collect all information about project which you want invest then read there whitepaper , roadmap , and all there important points then invest and hold your fund and choose a strong project.

I totally agree with you, there are several meme coins out there that was specifically created for fun purpose. And it was clearly stated in their white paper that we shouldn't be expecting any thing deferent from their pre created aim of the coin. Yet you see some persons wanting to buy newly created meme coins before they trend so that they would have enough profit when the coin increases  its value. This is the more reason they have to make some series of research just to uncover if the coin is actually legit or good for investment.

And even it's clearly stated there are people who will take the risk, finding meme coin that potentially will be hype is not easy,  there are whales who loves playing around plus the scammers who will use all the resources that they've got just to allure people who loves to take that high risk investment , it's your own take when picking your target project more on luck and timing  so be ready for any possible outcome.
Many times we have missed the hypes and have invested into some wrong coin that eventually never rewards us for the investment and since most of the meme coin are short leave that is their don't have the capacity to exist in the market for long that makes their investment more risky and much avoided in most cases.

But if you get lucky to gamble on them when the hype is high and you are able to exit the market when the party is still on,  you can make some profits from them,  by the ways that is based on individual skills and knowledge rounded by luck. Memecoin hunting is high and getting your hands on the right one is the main job in all of this.

For sure this is the right time to exit the hype but one needs to be careful not to get on the wrong coins since there are so much hype in the market currently and a lot of fake coins also.
816  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.GAME - CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK | $1,000 GIVEAWAY LIVE! 🔥🔥🔥 on: January 08, 2024, 04:53:35 PM
Account opened, Bitcoin deposited. Bets placed.  Shortly before the games started, all bets were cancelled.
Bets would have all won.
Limit $1 on each bet, but I have to wager the deposit at least once to cash out. Of course, this does not include bets cancelled for no reason.

For me a very clear scam! Please do not deposit
You can't possibly be scammed by bc.game, though they had some rather serious issues with their reputation on this forum sometime not long ago this very last year, but they did come back, and resolved all the issues, and right now, I personally have bc.game on my list of most reputable casinos on this forum to trust.

Sorry if I missed part of where you discussed this issue in fall details, I don't know if you have reached out to their customer care to find out what could have gone wrong?
But I believe youve definitely done something which lead to them canceling your bet and restricting you, a casino can't just all of a sudden cancel a players bet, and restrict the player, without the player violating some of the casino's terms of service or conditions.
Find out from the customer care what lead to this act, and share same with us here if you don't mind, for possibly, we can learn to avoid doing what you did, so we also don't ever experience such as you have experienced here.
I am not trying to defend the casino though,  but I have to state some possible obvious truth about the whole thing,  because recently there have been an increase in cases of accusations against some of our top-rating casinos,  and for a long, the casino seems to be unresponsive or tired of responding to the baseless accusation.

I think before a player registers and makes deposits,  it's very important to make sure to have read and understand the terms and conditions of the casino,  and also to know how the casino operates, along the line, it has to be a clear understanding of the risk you stand to face before you open accounts on that casino,  so if there be any issue with the account,  first check to make sure everything is clear from your own end before calling out the casino themselves.
817  Economy / Gambling / Re: Does anyone find the spate of online casinos a bit uninspired? on: January 08, 2024, 04:42:37 PM
Edited out

While it is true that a blossoming market and the increase of competence is in theory good for gamblers, we must also be aware that the market only adapts to the needs and standards of gamblers whether they have a clear picture of what they want and act in consequence because of those desires and wishes. For example, if there is a casino which has a very high minimal wager before allowing people to withdraw their money, the logical thing to happen is for those gamblers to withdraw from that casino or gamble less on there. However, if gamblers are not aware of those wager conditions or they do not pay attention to them, then the rest of the market would negatively adapt to open the way for new casinos which would ask for high minimal wager as well, or worse: they would encourage already existing casinos to increase their minimal wager.

If people move from casinos to new ones because those have a different set of games or artistic designs, then the market will make all the existing casinos to also adopt those features.

818  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: January 08, 2024, 04:24:49 PM
Of course, I will not use the gambling site as I know anytime my money would be gone, but I can't help but say that they are really good in marketing. If only they were able to manage their reputation, they are probably one of the biggest casino now.
They are connected to big sites like 1xbet which is why they have access to plenty of resources due to which they extensively marketed themselves on various platforms and signed some big sponsorship deals.

However, I doubt they would be extremely popular even if they fixed their reputation completely since there are way better alternatives out there.

What catches my attention is that even though there are sponsored and protected by a big FIAT casino like 1xbet. This smaller casino focused to Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies does not have a sense on existing if they do not get some profits out of it.
In the end, the existence of this casino as a branch of the big one is for it to be self-sufficient otherwise it would be only become a bother for the rest of the conglomerate. So there must be still many people to gamble on 1xbit and are allowed to access their account as long as they are losing most of the gambled money, there must be where much of the revenue must come from, these case we see in this thread of people being scammed are people who won an amount of money which the administration thought it was big enough for them to afford to lose, which only provides proof of the misery this casino must be going through, if they cannot allow themselves to pay some thousands to keep on the façade of legitimacy.
Well I have not taken the time to reflect on the role and impact of 1xbit on 1xbet reason being that,  there have not been any official linkage between the two casinos and also we haven't been able to link the either,  so wasting our time discussing on the impact of that perceived association is a time wasting if you ask me.

For sure in the long run,  we are going to know what exactly is between the two casinos since we saw traces of their relatedness,  because as far as I know,  1xbit has a ruined image in the online gambling market and in some point that is going to tell on them and may possibly lead to debts on the long run and if the liability holding has a connection with 1xbet the company will have to inherit their debts.
819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you be worried or comfortable seeing your elderly mother gambling? on: January 08, 2024, 04:13:54 PM
This is to the extent that society has collapsed to,  and for something that has not been with us for so long such as sports settings and other gambling games to have taken control over the society and some are now giving away their morals to this and even though the society is warning about the danger of gambling elderly people still gets involved in gambling and at some point, we have some of them who are even addicts.

But for sure,  I won't be comfortable seeing an elderly person gambling and not talking of my own parents really I can't take it,  imagine how the child of that woman will feel seeing his mother in the casino looking frustrated.
820  Economy / Gambling / Re: Responsible gambling on: January 08, 2024, 04:06:24 PM
Yes in the general opinion,  gambling shouldn't be taken or seen as an investment
'
Not in general but in any opinion gambling should never be considered as an investment because the ones who gamble often get so involved in it that they forget about the risk of losses. Many gamblers lose thousands of dollars per day while investors can't risk to lose that much.

Either ways you both presented it, gambling is not an investment, the only way we can consider it an investment is on those who have invested to start a gambling business as their own establishment which I believe could have involved alot of money as well, but for any gambler who thinks he could also finds a means of living through gambling may be totally wrong about it.
My friend Dunamisx were are aware of the fact that gambling is not an investment,  and all the comments have pointed out the factors that make gambling not to be an investment out for a better understanding of the point we are trying to pass.

But on the other hand, we were discussing a pathway to make some positive decisive decisions in gambling,  and for that the reason why we both mentioned investment mentality as a gambler in our comments,  I hope this comment helps you gain more understanding of our points.
