Hi guys

Newbie here,
I am thinking of setting a website where people can buy "stuff" from only bitcoins and altcoins, wondering what would you rather buy?

Clothes?

Jewelley?

shopping vouchers? ( dont know how will this work but vouchers for amazon, next, debenhams, pizza express etc etc) any specifc vouchers?

Food?

Books?

Ipod? Ipad? (apple products)

Any of your help will be highly appreciated

Thanks guys

Don't buy any alt coins until you have really understood them.  Lots of people will tell you to buy because they got the coins for almost nothing and want to sell to get free money, your money.  Assume everyone here is trying to rip you off because most probably are.  Bitcoin is the only real coin right now.  Some altcoins might change that but nobody really knows.  Every month an alt coin is being "pumped" to be really high in price.  If a person rides it up, they can make a lot of money.  But then instantly the price will bottom out.  Then it is a ponzi and the last people that put money in are called "bag holders".  It is the goal of many people to get you to be a bag holder.

Thanks Somethingelse for the tips and everyone for your comments

Maybe I just understood the term "to study" wrong.
Do you mean at a univerity or to you mean in private? Since you mentioned that you are finishing School, I assumed, you are talking about University.

I have seen some threads with similar questions, but maybe they are outdated. So starting this new thread might be a good idea even if there are already some.

A good start, might be this:
http://www.gpg4win.org/doc/en/gpg4win-compendium.html

3 yr uni degrees are quite limited in this subject, i will be doing degreein something else. This is for private study, part time courses, reading around.

Thanks for the link

Just look into Curriculums, how much they cover cryptographie, Computer security, etc.

But regardless what you are studying. They just can teach you Basics. If you really want to go balldeep into this Topic, you have to do it your self.

But why do you even want to study this Topic? If you are really that interessted, just ask for some links, in this Forum. People will provide you with plenty. A lot to read and a lot of things to try out.
Still, some serious academic studies is always good, but you don't have to wait till you get in the right class to start learning.
We life in the Age of Information.

Well i want to study this because i think its unique and its beyond boundaries and revolutionary. I am really intertested, is there any forum someone previously asked has a list of guides etc, it will be greatly appreciated thanks

Your first step is to study and understand this => bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf

If you want your own alt-coin, it is now a layman's job. Get one done @ CoinGen.

If u want to make quick money ...try an Alt Coin. Its just gambling.

If u want to make steady money ... go back to the first PDF. Learn Bitcoin protocol and develop things onto it.

If u are really interested in Crypto, u may do a Google search on 'Ethereum'.

Best of Luck.

Thanks for your help, reading it now!
