251  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon will ship 290 units by tomorrow, correct? on: February 28, 2013, 10:09:49 PM
They really need to offload customer service to someone as they're too busy to perform even the most basic levels of support. I have infinitely more confidence in the Avalon team than I do their competition, but the lack of communication is again getting silly.

emphatically agree. not sure why they want to purposefully tarnish their reputation if they're legitimately trying to create a business out of this.

Cause they are chinese, they like show thinks, and not trash talk...
252  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon ASIC users thread on: February 28, 2013, 10:01:00 PM
I`ve heard that the avalon "eats"(slows) the internet, is that true?  BTC GUILD at high difficult >100.
253  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon will ship 290 units by tomorrow, correct? on: February 27, 2013, 06:38:11 PM
YIFU said avalons will arrive in ~2weeks. So just wait 2 weeks
254  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon ASIC users thread on: February 21, 2013, 02:10:54 PM
Hey jgarzik or Jeff,

After these days of testing, what pool do you consider is more stable to mine with avalon? i have seen BTC Guild with 32 difficulty and solo mining w/ eloipool + high diff how high?
255  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon ASIC users thread on: February 18, 2013, 04:25:02 PM
A picture is worth a thousand words  Grin

Is that your unit? Or did you take that picture from something Jeff or the other guys posted? If that's another Avalon in the wild it's great news.

that´s not mine, it´s sure from another avalon customer from china.

257  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Announcement] Avalon ASIC Batch #1 Ships on: February 05, 2013, 03:18:51 PM
So how many people pre-ordered a batch #2 and probably loses their money?

Well you mean because of difficulty increasing enough to make the machines never break even or turn a profit long term?

It's not a scam. The fact that 2 or 3 exist is proof enough, if they can build a few they can build hundreds, or thousands. The chinese are masters of reproduction.
The real question is, is Avalon team financially sound enough to make it happen and turn a profit somehow to keep the investors and customers happy? If they wanted to run a full scam they wouldn't make batches, it would be open season and they'd just take orders they couldn't fullfill for months like BFL has done.

Right now they have a goose than can lay golden eggs, they just need to get them out the door faster. And they need to talk more. If it's one thing BFL does better its communication, even if its trolling and blowing smoke up peoples asses.

Chinese don`t like communication, only like show the things they do. Grin

sorry for my english.
