So I'm assuming that long latency times can drop your earnings as the GPU goes for periods without getting work. Is there any way to improve this? It seems like it happens a lot. Do another pools have this problem?

Can you explain with is different with this build? I tried it and I'm getting slower performance than with the previous version. I'm running 14.4 drivers. Thanks.
What GPU you use and how much CPD you see?
Can you run benchmarks (xpmclient -b) with versions 9.4.1 and 10.0?

GeForce GTX 750Ti results:

XPM mining with 750Ti can be profitable after optimizations, if performance reaches 4+ CPD.. I think, it possible Smiley

So to answer your question, I'm running an R9 290. I was getting about 9 CPD with the new version and the older version I'm getting about 14 CPD. (I know this isn't the benchmark you were looking for but I'm away from my computer.) Again, I'm running the 14.4 drivers.

What performance are you seeing with an R9 290? It the performance lower because I'm using older drivers? If so, which version would you recommend?

Thanks!

Version 10.0beta with NVidia support available: https://www.dropbox.com/s/elfyuy2dvknb0s5/xpmclient_v10.0beta.tar.gz?dl=0
Miner not optimized for NV cards now, mining XPM using it may not be profitable, wait speedups in next versions.

GTX980 results on linux with 352.21 drivers.

Which version works with the 14.12 omega drivers? Thanks.
It called "Claymore XPM GPU Miner v13.0 Beta - POOL - Catalyst 14.x"
Also works fine with beta AMD drivers.

That's what I tried and it doesn't seem to be compatible.

I'm locked in for 3 years at $0.06 kw/hr .. in Chicago.

How did you swing that? Tell me more. Smiley

Question: so in the config file it has "-1" as meaning don't change for the corefreq, etc. What if I want to change these? What value do I add? I tried changing the corefreq in Afterburner, but it shows up lower when the program starts.

Radeon R9 290X @ 1000/1250 (stock) - 14.9 CPD

Radeon R9 280X @ 1000/1250 (stock) - 9.35 CPD
  R9 280X @ 1100/1500 - 10.25CPD

I have a R9 290 and have a few questions:

- Which driver will give me the best performance?

- Can I also use a CPU miner while running this program? My experience in the past is that CPU miners really cut into the performance of GPU miners. Any tips for this?

- I hear my fans turn down and then up when new work comes in. Is this normal? The Claymore miner doesn't seem to do this.

Thank you.

As I said - the pump and dump  Cool

This  puppets coin.

So yes there was a pump, but with the pump came a lot attention. Now is the time for developers and supporters to demonstrate why Vertcoin is worthy of the price.

Concerning all this bit about pool payouts, let me just say that computers are really good at numbers.

Yes they are and people are really good at programming them to spit out whatever numbers they want, when they want them to.

That is also true.

HT is still down. Innovators like Amazon and Google know how to keep a website up, why doesn't Josh?

Amber of GAW... tell me why I was banned. I'm really curious.

I just got banned from Hashtalk too! I guess for asking questions about securities.

So apparently some poor unfortunate sod got pwned by GAW's crappy hashmarket (despite warnings about this possibly happening some weeks ago) when the said individual inadvertently listed 901MHS prime's for sale (worth $45,000) @ $18 for the lot, that sold instantly..lol

Josh you suck...

Edit: They also still allow sellers to list @ 1mhs hashlet for sale for $10m. Just make sure you dont have $10m in your balance if you click one of these by mistake or its goodbye $10m LOL..

you got a link to the thread?

Here you go https://hashtalk.org/topic/11651/sold-901mh-zen-hashlets-for-18-on-hash-market

GAW are in a mess, absolute clusterfuck.

The only people that make real money are his early adopters/minions. If its not a ponzi its the next best thing.

Surely these hashlets are financial instruments wouldn't they be covered by financial regulation laws?

I had to ask if anyone knew what an S-1 was:

I sold all my Hashlets and it feels damn good. I got a good return and achieved ROI, but the "gamification" really got annoying. That and I got tired of hearing about the "HashKing".
so what are you investing on at the moment?
i have both ltcgear and gaw, plus a gridseed coming home soon Smiley

I'm doing a little GPU mining for fun, but other than that I'm not invested in anything currently as I don't see any good deals. The price to difficulty ratio is just too high. Eventually I'd like to get some new hardware. I'm always open to ideas.
