181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe I should wait before owning my bitcoin on: April 24, 2023, 12:29:47 AM
My desperation after becoming plus one here to own my bitcoin has grew in a week. The first journey was to look for the best wallet to use and Electrum becomes my choice. The account has been opened and I wait impatiently for my salary to enter this week to buy the first set and keep it.

On the second thought, I checked the chart of bitcoin to know if it's safe to buy immediately. My trading experience is weak but not so bad that I can't read the chart. The chart shows bitcoin is still going down, that made me rush to tradingview advice to be sure. The monthly advice shows that I should wait.

The reading of Neutral has more vote of 10 than the Sell that has 6 and Buy that has 8.

I will let this be my guide, will wait till the Buy has the highest vote. Money investment need to be carefully planned. This is just my plan, you can advice or give it kudos.

Try to do more research first and evaluate the fluctuation of the market. If you feel that it is going to go down then follow your instinct. Or you can do a cost averaging investment and i think this would be good way to invest. You are right money investment need to be carefully planned but until when? No one knows if the market will go down drastically or will go higher. If you are aiming for a long term anytime would be the best time to invest.
182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I will never own a whole Bitcoin and that's okay on: April 23, 2023, 09:17:42 AM
To summarize, my point is that many of us won't become rich or earn a great deal of money through Bitcoin, but that's okay; money isn't the greatest goal in life. We missed the early stages, but that doesn't mean that we don't have a chance in the future. There's no need to regret anything, coming from someone who was here during the first years and missed the boat. It's completely unnecessary to stress over how to acquire more and go above and beyond by selling stuff or exceeding the budget you can afford. Stick to what you can afford to spend and stick to that plan; don't go to extreme measures; and remember, there are no guarantees in investments.

I had also missed the early stages of Bitcoin because of the doubt and lack of knowledge about crypto currency. I feel a bit sad of missing that stages but those times is not really meant for me. Though we cannot invest a single bitcoin now because of the high value, but it awakens my inner self to strive harder to find other source of income to be able to acquire or invest in Bitcoin and of course i will never ever get a loan just to acquire it. There are still a lot of time to pursue to be able to invest in bitcoin. We need to work hard to earn more to be able to invest.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think on: April 23, 2023, 02:58:26 AM
I fellas I have two questions to ask crypto experts and investors in this forum today

1. Is this a good time to build crypto portfolio?
2. Do you really think that bear market will be a dipping as 2018?

Now that crypto is gaining more investors day by day and crypto adoption is increasing massively I don't think that the next bear market will be crazily low like 2018/2019, what do you think?

Building a crypto portfolio is always a good time. Taking risk on investment should take place when you are properly equipped of a lot of knowledge in crypto currency. If you are confident enough in making new investment then that is the time you can build up your portfolio. Everyone who are in investing experienced a trial and error stage, that should be anticipated by any investor because of it's volatility.

If the bear market could be dipping same as 2018 it will be an advantage to all investors because they could buy at a lower price. But unfortunately no one can really tell the status of the market if it is bullish or bearish. The market is so tricky to all investors. Just to be safe keep your investment for a long term for a better profit.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too good to be true? on: April 23, 2023, 01:59:41 AM
Is it possible to invest 100$ in altcoin and turn to 7,000$? Have this ever happened to anyone on here? Is this even possible?.

Yes it is possible to happen to anyone. You have to choose wisely on what coin you will invest. It is best to do your own research first before investing. There are a lot of projects to choose from. Luckily if you found an altcoin with a very promising project in the future and you had bought it at a very low value, wait for it to pump and for sure you will gain profit and you might reach $7,000 more or less. Of course it is still depends on the investor if your going to take risk or not.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The market will come back bigger again on: April 21, 2023, 07:07:37 AM
Hello guys,
With this ordeal going on it seems much-lost faith and bailed as if the whole market is going to vanish. This kind of thing happens more often in the stock market with inside trading, embezzlement, etc. In reality, it’s a perfect time to get in with everything dropping so low. It will come back and come back bigger than ever after this dies down and there will be improvements to hopefully prevent this from happening again. So do not lose hope and know that the bad time will inevitably pass, and you may not be able to make up for this opportunity again. Just my opinion.

I agree with you that perfect timing in taking advantage in investing is when everything is dropping. When everything seems to be so low that is the time to invest in crypto currency. Knowing crypto currencies for a bit long now we are already aware of the ups and down of the market. I guess a lot of us now know how to handle our investments. If our investment suddenly at the state of losses hodl is the best solution to it. Always remember your target goal if it is short term or long term investment.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy BNB now? on: April 21, 2023, 05:44:44 AM
Hi guys, Is it too late now to buy BNB? Or can we expect huge price drop in this year?

It is hard to suggest if you should buy BNB now. What I can suggest is you evaluate the movement of the market and check also it's historical price before buying. If you feel that your research is enough and you feel you need to buy it just follow your instinct. If i were you i will buy a stable coin first and stake it to earn some profits while waiting for the price of BNB to go down before i will decide to invest in BNB. Wait for the proper timing so that you will not regret your investment.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment involves being realistic, doesn't it ? on: April 21, 2023, 05:13:25 AM

Over the past few weeks, all cryptocurrency prices have gone through a new round of ups and downs. As always, the altcoin prices have followed Bitcoin price's fluctuation closely and as of today, all prices have dropped: Bitcoin price now is $27,000, ETH $1,700 , BNB $310 and other new altcoin like ARB at $1.14. I know that volatility like this is quite normal and for most long term crypto holders, this means no big deal. However, for those short-term players, they would definitely have sold a lot of them when they reached a relative high and if the prices continue to drop, they will probably buy a lot and wait for the next ATH. Too realistic, huh ? Yes. I have come to understand that no matter how you seem to be loyal to one particular cryptocurrency, as long as there seems to be a huge profit, you will sell to gain profit instead of holding a pipe dream. I have no judgement here and try to tell the truth. Personally, if I had that chance to cash for profits, I would do the same. What about you ?

As of this time the market begins to fluctuates again downwards and it is true that altcoins do follow Bitcoin's price. The market is truly volatile that no one can really determine if it will be bullish or bearish. Since last year the market fluctuates dramatically and a lot of investors had faced losses because they had invested at a higher price. No one anticipated that drastic change in price would occur last year. But if you have enough knowledge in investing crypto currency you will not panic specially if you are aiming for a long term investment. Every investment should involve being realistic, we should only invest what we can afford to loose. Do not put all your money in just one basket, so that your investment will not be locked in just one coin. We should enhance our knowledge in investing crypto currency so that we can invest wisely.
188  Economy / Economics / Re: How is the cost of living in your country? on: April 20, 2023, 07:10:35 AM
Apparently the cost of living in my country depends on your monthly income. The higher the salary you will not feel how expensive the goods that you need in your everyday life but if the salary is very low it could be a struggle to budget the monthly expenses for yourself and your family. Like me I am the breadwinner of the family if I will rely on my monthly wage it is not sufficient to sustain our monthly expenses, I will need to budget my salary wisely to sustain our needs. That is why I am eager to find other option to be able to sustain the daily needs of my family.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all new Projects are bad, So take the Risk on: April 20, 2023, 05:27:21 AM
That is right not all new projects are bad. It is our decision if we are going to take the risk. Consider first on making a research first before gambling in a particular project check on their white paper, their plans on how they will boost the project and show how secured their investments will be. A new project should have a concrete plans on how the new project will grow and not only promises good returns to investor. Being an investor make sure to scattered your investment not in only one project to avoid so much losses.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10k investment on: April 20, 2023, 01:46:48 AM
Hi,

I’m looking to invest 10k, I’m trying to decide if to go with XRP or ADA.

In terms of holding I can do it for 1-3 years no real time limit. Not sure what returns I might get short term vs long term. ADA for example i might get 3 to 4 x return, however with XRP that might be a lot more should they win the court case.

My slight worry is what happens if XRP lose.

P

With 10K investment it is better to choose the top coins in market cap they are the safest investment for a long term goal. If you are slight worry to invest on XRP just follow your gut feelings or you might regret it. A few years ago i had invested in XRP and I bought them at $1.18 in 2018 but since then my portfolio with XRP did not recover i ended up selling them at loss and just reinvest it to other much better crypto currency. Do your own research first before investing so that you will not regret it.
191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is $30 dollars worth starting bitcoin? on: April 20, 2023, 12:23:23 AM
A $30 can be  use for starting up Bitcoin specially to the people who are new in investing. They could use to gain and learn more experience to see  the market flow. With this $30 they could experience the volatility of the market it's either they will gain or loss. They are lucky if they will gain immediately and if that happens they should sell it on a high price and then invest again at a lower price. With that experience they will realize that the $30 investment is not enough to earn more profits.
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No late comer in bitcoin Investment. on: April 19, 2023, 01:10:28 PM
Investing in Bitcoin is never too late. Everyone should do your own research first weather your new or old in crypto currencies. If you take a risk in investing Bitcoin it only means that you already know the volatility of the market. Evaluate yourself if you are aiming for a long term or short term goal. You should accept the fact that anytime your investment might encounter losses nor income, that is the common fluctuation of the market. Never sell your Bitcoin if you are at loss, just hodl the investment that you have and wait till the market recovered that is part of the investment cycle.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If I have $40,000 to invest in one #cryptocurrency. on: April 19, 2023, 07:53:02 AM
I will definitely invest my $40,000 in just 3 coins namely BTC, ETH and BNB those coins I think are the most secured and safest coins. But of course I would wait first for the market to be bearish before I would invest because that would be an advantage for us the lower the price the better the profit we can earn. Each and everyone of us have different perspective when it comes to investing, what I can say is do your own research first and choose the best investment wisely.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: can we return the stolen wallet? on: April 19, 2023, 07:11:26 AM
Hello guys long time not see, my wallet was got hacked. All my token was stolen to the hacker wallet
i dont know why but can i still secure it? i hope you guys can help me. Thanks you
and for hacker i hope you have some beautiful children that die from cancer

The reality in crypto wallet once it was hacked you cannot retrieve it back. That is one of the saddest part of having a wallet that was hacked. All of us should be careful in keeping our wallets in a safe place, if we could keep it in an offline wallet it is better. Hacker now a days are very intelligent they can trick the users by means of phishing link and other forms to get all the details to access our personal emails even the computers they can access it. It is a lesson learned for all us. Keep that in mind we need to be extra careful.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto banks replace traditional banks soon on: April 18, 2023, 07:08:58 AM
In my own perspective Traditional bank cannot be replaced by Crypto bank. Traditional bank can upgrade their services and add up crypto services in their product portfolio but definitely will remain as traditional. Up to date a lot of people doesn't even know how a crypto currency works they have no idea on how to use and transact with it. That is why most people would rather use the traditional bank. It would take a lot of time to educate the people when it comes to crypto currencies.
196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bear Market on: April 18, 2023, 03:12:38 AM
A bear market can be a frustrating time for bitcoin entrepreneurs mostly, but those who are able to adapt and navigate the market conditions can still be successful, meanwhile. A bear market can make it even more unpredictable, increased competition and lower profit margins for existing bitcoin entrepreneurs.
I think there're more problems facing bitcoin entrepreneur in a bear market that I don't even know about as a Newbie.

Bear Market is frustrating time specially to all newbies in the market because they are still on the process of adopting the risks of investing. Weather it is Bear or Bull Market it is both unpredictable. Being an ordinary investor who lacks knowledge in investing i suggest that do your own research before taking risks in investing. Evaluate first the market before investing in your chosen crypto and invest only what you can afford to loose. Make sure to scattered your investment so that you will not loose everything in just one investment.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the altcoin holders hang on until the bull run comes ? on: April 18, 2023, 01:40:18 AM

I believe everyone on this forum has made both good and bad decisions in terms of investing in altcoins. I recently made a mistake buying a lot of Dogecoins after Elon Musk changed the Twitter logo into the Doge logo. Price was surging and due to FOMO, I bought a lot at the price of $0.099 and afterwards it started to dump like hell. If I continue to hold Dogecoins, the price might be dumping even lower but if I sell them now, the losses become concrete and I'll never have a chance to win back. Have you ever had the same experience ? What did/would you do ? Please share your opinions. By the way, I am with FireDAO team, in charge of the global community. Please contact me if you have any inquiry.

I am one of those who made good and bad decisions in investing altcoins. But i had learned from my mistakes so many times. If an altcoin is on hype we should not go on with the flow because it could turn losses or income for us. Be very careful in investing altcoins. If you had bought them at a high price and suddenly it went down better to hodl them and wait for it to recover to be able to get profit. As an investor I would still hang on with the altcoins that i had until the bull run comes because i do not want to loose the original amount that i had invested.

199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is cryptocurrency so difficult to understand on: September 04, 2018, 09:22:23 AM
I engaged with young people and layman people in my communities on the quest of exposing them to cryptocurrency. During the period I discovered that they find It so difficult to understand the concepts, they are so much acquainted with fiat currency and traditional ways of making payment transactions.
I will be impress If I can get a valuable ways and methods in making them understand what cryptocurrency is all about and engage them actively.

Crypto currency is difficult to understand at first specially if someone do not have background of crypto currencies and never tried to invest in the stock market. Investing in bitcoin is same with investing in the stock market but it is more risky but profitable.
200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the world ready for cryptocurrency? on: September 04, 2018, 09:20:25 AM
Although there are a few countries who uses bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies now, I cannot help but wonder if the world is truly ready for this digital currency? It will certainly be hard to replace all currencies in the world but it could happen in a decade or so, perhaps even less? Still the question is, is the world ready? I think if this happens it might be one of the biggest changes that will happen worldwide.

I think yes because bitcoin now is spreading around the world and the proper adoption and openess of the people is needed to be able to encourage everybody to use crypto currencies.
