Many miners won't keep up with the demand and have to sell their mining rig from losing profit because of electricity bills.

I like to thank all the comments in this thread as it influenced me to buy Bitcoin at $40k in January. Anytime is the best time to invest in Bitcoin. When governments keep printing paper money causing inflation this increases the value of the finite supply of Bitcoin. |

The weakness to Solana are DDOS attacks. Michael Saylor likes to call it "cyber hornets". Solana network has gone down for at least 6 hours. Even though it's transaction speed is the best in the world, it's still vulnerable to DDOS attacks.

Speed coins haven't been good since 2017. Such as Litecoin, Dash, Digibyte etc..

One of the coin that I won't consider buying anymore is ada. I am really disappointed in that coin, its price movement is really slow that every other altcoin already follows the price movement of btc,eth and more, then you will see ada which feels like it doesn't care. I also don't consider tron, it is not worth buying as it is just a cheap copy of eth. Founder can't be trusted and risking my money on that altcoin is a no no.
I also felt that Cardano might be another Tron. |

I hope that bitcoin price will surprise those investors by showing them a price that they never expected, let me say something like $150k and above because I don't think most of the investors are hoping to see bitcoin go above the current price which is $43k and you would agree with me that the amount we are hoping to see before the halving is not even close to it which may seem to be very poor. Was expecting to see the price to be at $65k but it hasn't gotten close since this year.
well, we will never know what's gonna happen for this upcoming halving. thus, you should prepare for the possibility of what's to come.and collect what you think you can afford in this type of digital investment. That's true, we never know but that doesn't mean that traders and equally investors should start panicking because the price of Bitcoin doesn't go in their favor. Everything in the crypto world is about risk and if you don't have the courage of holding is best you do the needful. As it is Bitcoin price isn't moving in a positive direction and anytime soon the price might go down. That's why bitcoin investment is not for everyone—not for people who have weak hearts or weak resolve and can't stick to their decisions or movements. Those investors, traders, or holders can't control themselves just because they see a slight down side in bitcoin without knowing it's part of the process where the bull run will come. Yes, it's near, but there is no exact time when it will happen. That's why we are preparing for that. A decrease in the price of bitcoin is normal, as many people are halving and selling because of the recent ETF. Just because there is a coincidence that the price dropped after the ETF, people or investors panicked and did panic selling, which was not a good idea to begin with. They are the ones who could not stick to their beliefs about bitcoin. That's why bitcoin is not for weak-hearted and cowardly people who, just because of a sudden change, will panic. True. It seems like the emotional feelings types cannot handle investments like Bitcoin and crypto. Too much emotion does make people panic sell at a loss. |

I read everyone's insightful opinion I changed the thread title to "Best time to buy Bitcoin now and before the Bitcoin Halving: April 22, 2024"
Basically, Bitcoin is volatile, we can't 100% predict the price. Bitcoin has lowest prices in the past and highest prices in the future. That's why investing in Bitcoin today is the best strategy.

Often, we see the question: Is this the right time to buy bitcoin? during the bull run. But now they are ignoring accumulating bitcoin when it's cheap. I agree with the OP; after each halving, Bitcoin seems to pump hard. So we might see a real bull after the halving. It's most likely the end of this year or the beginning of 2025. I will prefer the DCA strategy to accumulate bitcoin right now. Today, Bitcoin is trading in the $41K zone, which is a buy point as well. I am not sure if we can see Bitcoin below $30K before halving. So DCA will work well at the moment.

I would always say that the best time to buy bitcoin is at its dips, but knowing we can’t predict when will be bitcoin at its deepest price, then probably the best time to buy is now. Regardless of the current price of bitcoin, if you keep on waiting for the perfect entry, you might end up losing another opportunity to invest. So I prefer to say that now is the best time to invest. Take it or leave it, bitcoin has great potentials to succeed so we should not miss any opportunity to buy and hold.
Good advice and that's the most popular advice is to buy the dip. Buying the dip is a strategy never fails long term. |

That's how you see things around Bitcoin, it doesn't mean that others will think and do the same, the best time for me was in 2022 so far, even all the altcoins I bought at that period are so damn good in value right now.
The best time people should have invested in Bitcoin was in 2022, even if there will be massive correction now you aren't going to see 16k Bitcoin again, while everyone are waiting for 10k it never happened, the train already left.
Buying now doesn't mean you won't make money, but the best opportunity to have bought is already gone, 16k per Bitcoin was the best price ever, this is why waiting is dangerous.
You are correct. 16k was the lowest price within that past 2 years. |
