221  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Tough problems during running a Full node on: September 26, 2021, 12:59:34 AM
Looks as if my internet connections were too poor .
Since am trying this action for the first time,
Downloading the block chain took almost 4 hrs and after this ,the connections crumbled.
After much stress and heat radiation
I had to search for the current block chain size
And it is https://ibb.co/z6qxPhN

I need to get strong internet connections and prolly a new flash drive, bigger memory space too

How about exothermic reactions?
Is it normal ?
Thanks for support fam
222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The difficulty of explaining Bitcoin to people is massive on: September 26, 2021, 12:27:19 AM
Sometimes, some peeps don't even want to get crypto related like most of my friends down here,no matter how much words you explain to them with, they'll still argue unreasonably and try to prove you wrong .
Secondly, if the person isn't a computer literate, the can never be an autumn of understanding..not at all!
In such cases, you just have to let them be

You haven't described any complexity yet.  You told us what you wanted to do, then you told us that you didn't want to do what you wanted to do, then you said that it's a problem that you don't want to do what you want to do.

You know what?
Anything that has to do with TECHNOLOGY and CONNECTIONS might go faulty anytime, thats not because it wasn't working previously
I made this topic according to the the FUNCTION that i needed to perform with the NODE and the output i got during several times of trials ...
Please we are all in the process of learning, nobody knows everything, even in the different fields that we specialise.
I felt very bad for your own opinion. I don't think i should be mocked .,not at all!

I just needed few clips from articles i could read for more details on how i could achieve what i wanted, not being quoted IGNORANT because i am already.
It looks simple to you because you have been doing it OVERTIME

All thanks to @nonce
I had to read through the link and i got some useful documentaries.
I have gone above my difficulties
225  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Tough problems during running a Full node on: September 24, 2021, 04:13:33 PM
I was trying an instance of a full node which can be used to verify, make perfect recording and also keep block chain records
Thus,to achieve this ,i guess am to download the whole block chain but its impossible...!
Is there any other way to do that?
What could be the actual problem
That's just the complexity i had...
I haven't gotten over it

Am stuck!!  Huh

Am surprised seriously...
Is there any campaign for jrn members?
I doubt 😳
228  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Tough problems during running a Full node on: September 22, 2021, 03:45:26 PM
I have had a few difficulties when i was trying to run a FULL NODE using bitcoin core but i also needed lightweight/SPV CLIENT (simplified payment verification client) since i needed a prior VERIFICATION and VALIDATION of all the company's transaction and also to know if there were included in the BLOCK.
I needed to BROADCAST an VERIFY every transaction easily.
I had to initialize SYNCHRONIZATION; So i decided to download the entire  block chain and this was IMPOSSIBLE!!
I was looking for a secured wallet system like  this
 https://www.researchgate.net/publication/224229795_The_concept_of_Secure_Mobile_Wallet

I also tried to enhance myself on this link too
https://bitcoin.org/en/full-node#other-linux-gui

The question is..
* is there any smart way to download the whole block chain ?
How can i go about it?
Please share your experience 🙏

229  Bitcoin / Mining / Issues with minerd,bitcoin core,pools inactive on: September 22, 2021, 03:22:41 PM
I went through a hard time in trying these, but i didn't get to the root.
I have few questions for you and really need your support bountifully. I'm trying these block chain action for the first time.
Since it's basically all about hashing different candidates blocks until you get the results smaller than the strenuous VERGE.

I have a couple of friends with which i had to utilize thier machines to MINE With the CPU and BITCOIN CORE. I had to search for steps on how i could possibly MINE easily with BITCOIN CORE from popular sites.

Before we started, since i have a very VAST knowledge about BLOCK CHAINS and NODES, i had to look for the software SOURCE CODE in this link
 https://sourceforge.net/projects/cpuminer/files/
Then i also checked PRECOMPILED BINARY here
 https://github.com/pooler/cpuminer

After launching core version 0.21.0
We came across a SYNTAX
setgenerate [code<true|false> <number of cores to be used>/code]
We used preferably a LINUX system after  many difficulties and SLOWNESS,We discovered that GETHASHESPERSEC wasn't optimised.
We downloaded and extracted the software and CONFIGURED IT.
These steps was a 'bit' difficult and complicating;
When we tried the NAVIGATION in the CPUMINER DIRECTORY,it portrayed a FILE called "MINERD": After running the instructions,
These is what we got
 https://ibb.co/KNjVgcS
4--core CPU are known to bind about 5400 Kilo hashes per/secs(kh/s) on every single CORE.
We weren't able to connect to the MULTIPOOL.
Questions: please i need genuine answers
* why were we not able to connect to the MULTIPOOL, is it that we took wrong processes or something was missing ?
N/b: if yes, please state it from your experience
🙏
* The MINERD file in BITCOIN CORE indicated: "command not found" and thus, did not operate any further.
Why did this happen??
 Kindly drop your thoughts 🙏
* coinbase address was empty, which was supposed to be automatically adopted from the wallet,
Did any step go wrong?
* last but not the least; can any software miner; e.g CPU MINER mine successfully without POOL and its SERVER?
 Regards buddy 🙂

230  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: is there such a thing as a non-scam cloudmining operation ? on: September 22, 2021, 01:51:08 AM
Most cloud mining companies are realistic.
The problem is, when the mining operations are not reproducing in accordance to what is being PUT.,how then do they pools cope?
Now,we still have mining companies that have made a good NAME for rendering automated mining projects for multi purpose industries which is still running CURRENTLY
*do you think that for any reason, they will want to rob you of your peanuts compared to the companies they mine for?
* do you think they'd rather spoil thier REPUTATION??
totally impossible!!
Only for the struggling ones that might still crash anytime soon,so they use you to make wealth before collapsing

Always Mine with FORMIDABLE mining pool

231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Politicians in US on: September 22, 2021, 01:32:00 AM
What??
You want to involve politicians in a decentralised system?
Most of them are greedy and for this fact, the wouldn't want to indulge in here because in here, everything is clear and nobody can be dubbed.
Most politicians that are ECONOMIST will as well indulge and support crypto movement. These set of politicians are the foremen when its comes to LEGALISATION AND IMPLEMENTATION of crypto project

232  Other / Meta / Re: [POLL] Top 5 boards deserve most merits on: September 22, 2021, 01:18:26 AM
Well,am pretty sure that we have a couple of merit source that have taken it upon themselves to distribute merit to QUALITY post.
With all due respect,Sometimes,i just feel maybe our legendary and merit source should get sober and merit any post when due.
Remember, this was created as a means of appreciation and accolades for updating the forum each and everytime anyone did.
Most newbies are software programmers and sometimes post nice articles But end up getting one or no merit at all😿

Let's improvise for the consolidation of the forum🙏

233  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: What do you look for in a programming language made for decentralized projects? on: September 21, 2021, 11:12:10 PM
Congratulations first of all !
When you talk about creating FLOGRAM' ,innovation comes into play ..you can't say you want to make it perfect, you could only try to improvise!
Because even with your concept, technology advancement will one day degrade it.
So all am saying is that you sit down and think of special features, the likes of formidable COMPILERS and SPEED should be automated to synchronise.
Lastly, everything boils down to Security. IF IT ISN'T SAFE,THEN IT ISN'T WORTH CREATING.....!
Try as much as you can to develop inbuilt security options that are customised!!
Then maybe, a few user security options that could be deactivated depending on the CONCEPT OF CREATION..

Don't always forget to keep improvising as per time ..
It doesn't end here!!

236  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Can a scammer intrude and rob bitcoin wallet through a multisig? on: September 15, 2021, 07:21:18 PM
No offense, but I had a hard time reading your text.

1)At this point, the signature of all parties are involved.what is the rate of impossible when its comes to any participant who has evil motives like accessing anyone's signature?
What do you mean to access someone's signature? They can't provide a valid signature if they don't have the private key and any invalid signature will be rejected by the network.

Take, for instance, the example with Alice, Bob and Charlie. They want to split a UTXO into three parts (from a multi-sig wallet). To do so, Alice creates the three outputs and signs the transaction. Bob receives the signed by Alice only transaction and confirms she did what she stated. Bob agrees with the transaction and signs it too. Now Charlie receives a transaction that has two signatures, Bob's and Alice's, and does what Bob did. If Charlie agrees he can also sign the transaction and broadcast it.

They can all access everyone's signature, but they have no reason to change them, because that would make them invalid.

As for privacy: There's no need to do this procedure publicly, but they wouldn't be in danger of fraud due to the above. They're safe due to the ease of confirming the transaction's validity. I hope this answered all of your questions.

This is where you had your instances from and you didn't bother to drop a link for references.
I have my basics and facts that i made because i really went into deep studies to know how this is manipulated

I created a very nice thread on BITCOIN DISCUSSION about bitcoin usage policies and how to treade comfortably..
With all prior explanations and it was deleted
Please i will like to know why,so i could correct myself ??
238  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Can a scammer intrude and rob bitcoin wallet through a multisig? on: September 15, 2021, 05:23:34 PM
I wanted to involve bitcoin fully into my business presently, but i still had some kinda doubt about it and some curiousity.
These forum has taught me alot about crypto as a whole and rekindled my interest..! Kodus to SATOSHI,THYMOS and his TEAM of moderators, you guys are awesome👏😊
Well my questions are:
A partially signed bitcoin(psbt) has been made to facilitate the probability of unsigned transactions.
These format has been created to help many users to easily sign the same transaction.
The (PSBT) format is created in such a way that if the transaction is between three (3) persons, the two people who are received will have to create an address and add to The PSBT.
Afterwards, when the interface is created ,it is sent back to the later who inputs his\her signature before sending back to be authorised.
1)At this point, the signature of all parties are involved.what is the rate of impossible when its comes to any participant who has evil motives like accessing anyone's signature?
2) Are signatures created with perfect privacy conditions so therefore cannot be accesed by any kind of fraud?
If NO,then PSBT isn't SAFE!!!
3) I have read that sometimes, coordinator sends the PSBT to each of the user to sign them privately and Send it back,in these case, since bitcoin is decentralised and people aren't known specifically as any frauder might just decide to become a coordinator just to fraud everyone of their coin, don't you think and improvised method should be used on these maybe to the MINERS directly?
Thanks alot 🙏

239  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Difficult fact about UTXOs that i had about moments ago on: September 13, 2021, 11:05:06 PM
Coinbase transactions (coin generation transactions not to be confused with transactions created using Coinbase the service) are special transactions which can create outputs without consuming any outputs as inputs. They are created by miners and are not allowed to be more than the block subsidy plus transaction fees. All UTXOs can be traced to have originated with an output from a coinbase transaction.
Does it really mean that UTXOs are created by MINERS only during output transactions as you said or is there any other way it could be generated?
240  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Difficult fact about UTXOs that i had about moments ago on: September 13, 2021, 09:57:18 PM
These has always been a difficulty for me!! But i guess ill look beyond it today.
Hello great GURUS ❤
I had a very tough question on my mind to share
Every bitcoin transaction is made of inputs and outputs.
While output creates new UTXO(unspent transaction output),inputs also tends to consume existing UTXOs
Literarily,it means UTXOs are created through the consumption of other UTXOs.Then if old UTXOs are destroyed to create new UTXOs, how then are UTXOs created in the first place or instance?
Thanks for help and replies 🙏
