1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The greedy must be poor on: September 17, 2021, 08:02:11 AM
Some coins you insist on holding may have unexpected gains. Not all coins are going to death. Greed may make you poor, but not all greedy people will become poor. People in the world are greedy, so you still have to stick to your heart.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Get married in the blockchain? on: September 16, 2021, 10:00:11 AM
Getting married in the blockchain is a pretty good idea. Can't divorce after getting married? I have not seen a couple who get married in the blockchain. If I get married on the blockchain, I won't sell it. I hope my husband will not sell it either.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a safe haven? on: September 11, 2021, 07:34:13 AM
Well, I completely disagree with the previous answers.

Bitcoin is not only a simple safe haven, it is the best safe haven in the world.

It is the best way to store your wealth. It is the most difficult to confiscate and the easiest to transport. That is why it is the best safe haven.

You can take $1B around the world very easily, or you can send it to the other side of the globe in no time for a ridiculous amount of money.

Try to take $1B of real estate or gold, or fiat currency around the world. Or try sending it and compare.
Bitcoin is not nominally a real safe haven.
Investing in Bitcoin is also risky.
Compared to gold, Bitcoin is easy to carry and trade. This is one of the advantages of Bitcoin.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dead Coins on: September 10, 2021, 06:58:39 AM
Whose wallet has no dead coins?
Every time I buy investment coins, I believe that the coins can develop very well. There is no timely stop loss when the coin price drops. After the coin dies, it is kept in the wallet forever.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My hardware store now accepts Bitcoin! on: September 10, 2021, 06:41:54 AM
Congrats!
This sounds good and there are a few small merchants now adopting Bitcoin as a payment and the good thing is they applied Lightning Network that good for microtransaction for example for a small number of products to purchase.  Aside from that, it's totally safe than using a credit card because there's no charge back, make sure at least there's at least 1 confirmation to be done before your customer let leaving at your counter.

and maybe add a link to bitcoin.org in your "bitcoin accepted" signage/website for those who have no idea what it is and wanna learn more.
I like the idea, it seems you're advertising the forum as well.
Below on your QR code device reader, there's a line saying, "For more info. visit Bitcointalk.org for more details". Wink
This is beneficial for promoting Bitcoin.
Many shops now allow Bitcoin to be used for payment.
There are also many people who noticed the Bitcoin forum and came to the Bitcoin forum to learn,
Everyone in Bitcoin has slowly changed from a novice to an old member.
I have shared this forum with my friends and family. I believe that more and more people will be able to truly understand Bitcoin.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Explanation Why Cryptocurrencies Are Not Legalized? on: September 09, 2021, 06:46:21 AM
Illegal as payment method here, but its legal when we keep it as asset and investment.
The untrackable transaction is one of many factor thats why Bitcoin still not legalized in many areas, and some of them use blockchain to hide their money from taxes. But as the time will go, Bitcoin will legal in many areas (with certain rules), i think the government is on thats direction, they just confused how to make the right regulation with it.
Many countries ban cryptocurrencies because someone loses part of their money due to cryptocurrencies. Scammers scam money in cryptocurrency.
But no matter what industry there will be scammers, I hope that all countries will legalize Bitcoin.
But the good news is that more and more factories, companies and supermarkets are using cryptocurrency to issue remuneration and payments.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: End of bull run so we sell everything? on: September 09, 2021, 06:08:46 AM
Sell what you think is the right portion to be sold. What matters is your satisfaction of what you sell and what you hold and as well as what you buy.

I mind you to take some profits while planning to hold those for long term.
For the price, everyone has a stop-loss price in their hearts. Remember to stop the loss when the price of the coin drops sharply.
There are a lot of coins going to death, and if the loss is not stopped in time, more money may be lost.
Sometimes people will stick to their choice and believe it even if the coin is dead.
It is better to focus on Bitcoin.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many project SCAMS - PLEASE CAREFUL on: August 30, 2021, 08:21:52 AM
Even if you are careful, you will be deceived. The team of scammers is very mature now, and they don't feel anything on the surface.
Many newly issued coins are recommended not to invest a lot of money in the early stage. You can look at the market before making a decision.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I like to learn and use bitcoin on: August 30, 2021, 07:57:31 AM
We don't have to have deep understanding of how something works to be able to use it.

You don't know how many of your home appliances work and you use them every day because you know the effects they produce. You press a button and something happens.

I don't agree that we have to educate the world about Bitcoin. It's enough to let them know it exists and what it can bring to the table.
Learning never ends.
As Bitcoin becomes more and more popular. Many people are learning the knowledge of cryptocurrency.
In the beginning, everyone just wanted to make money with cryptocurrency. Now is to understand daily payment transactions. Many elderly and children can already use cryptocurrency for shopping.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why did you miss Bitcoin? on: August 24, 2021, 06:55:27 AM
I really missed it before, when I learned that Bitcoin was through the negative news of Bitcoin. Everyone commented that Bitcoin is a "tulip" and a "bubble" and did not pay much attention to it.
Later, I was more curious about Bitcoin, learned about Bitcoin, and regretted not knowing Bitcoin earlier.
But it is never too late to know Bitcoin. Now I know that it is not too late to learn Bitcoin. The value of Bitcoin is unlimited. As long as you have the courage to invest in Bitcoin, you will be rewarded.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are comfortable investing in government controlled investments on: August 24, 2021, 06:29:55 AM
People will always trust the government. They think the government will give them protection.
Of course this is the government of some big countries. The governments of some small countries have no rights, and even if they have guarantees, people will not invest in government-controlled assets.
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How I wish i knew about Bitcoin before now on: August 23, 2021, 09:29:51 AM
It's not too late to know now.
If you know Bitcoin for eight years, would you buy it? Will it invest?
I have known Bitcoin for a long time. At that time, I didn't understand Bitcoin, and there were some negative news that made me afraid of Bitcoin.
After learning about Bitcoin, I discovered a new world. I regret why I didn't understand at the time.
Now I will often introduce Bitcoin to my friends. I don't want more people to miss Bitcoin.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think financial stability is mandatory to be a gainer in Bitcoin invest? on: August 23, 2021, 08:45:26 AM
Investment cannot be made without economic support.
You can set aside a portion of the funds for investment every month. But also to ensure a normal life.
The important thing is to learn to invest.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Explanation Why Cryptocurrencies Are Not Legalized? on: August 20, 2021, 06:34:51 AM
As a decentralized currency, Bitcoin's development is not subject to excessive government restrictions or influences, while the cryptocurrency economy is subject to peer-to-peer Internet protocol monitoring.
Cryptocurrencies have not been widely accepted by businesses and consumers, and their prices now fluctuate so much that they are not suitable as payment methods.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What has bitcoin done for you? on: August 20, 2021, 06:20:42 AM
Changed the way I thought before. Learned to invest.
Improved my life and relieved some pressure for me.
Investing in Bitcoin has become my habit.
I met a lot of partners with the same interests.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could crypto replace government? on: August 19, 2021, 09:36:09 AM
If encryption can replace the government. The government will take action. Governments of various countries may ban the use of Bitcoin in the country.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is BTC Volatility More of an Advantage than Disadvantage? on: August 19, 2021, 09:12:22 AM
Bitcoin is a long-term development of value currency, as everyone knows.
The volatility of prices is unknown to traders. Everyone will only predict part of it and not predict the time accurately. Volatility affects traders. Some are good and some are bad. Everyone will not always succeed in predicting the results.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Musk cares for $TSLA, not Bitcoin on: August 18, 2021, 07:09:24 AM
Re: Musk cares for $TSLA, not Bitcoin

Should this really be a surprise to anyone though? Dude's going to live comfortably(to say the least) regardless if Bitcoin exists or not, whereas his companies are what gives him all the funds he needs in his lifetime.
To be correct, Musk only cares about his money. Only care about how much money he can make. He doesn't care about the others.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whose job should be more appreciated about Bitcoin widespread? on: August 18, 2021, 07:06:00 AM
For those who discovered Bitcoin, developed Bitcoin, and created Bitcoin, it is all worthy of appreciation.
Without a basic team, there would be no Bitcoin.
Without users and miners, there would be no Bitcoin today.
Anyone who is friendly to Bitcoin can be appreciated. They are farsighted.
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Differential treatment of grades on: August 17, 2021, 02:11:40 AM

Although I will pay attention to who posted the post. But I will still read the content.

Nah, OP. If you were reading around the forum a little bit, you'll notice this newbie ranked account that posted couple of articles by his own. It is kind of long and that is the only issue I had.
[Check out RainbowKun's article to see if forums really need depth knowledge.]

I have also read his post. I cannot answer some posts because they are too esoteric.
