1  Economy / Speculation / Elsavador President Predicting $100,000 Bitcoin price looks like another joke on: January 02, 2022, 04:25:08 PM
On 31st December, new year Eve a number of people started making jest of the $100k BTC price prediction as one of the biggest lie of 2021 and they made jokes of it.

Yea, Bitcoin came close $69k making it very hard to totally write off the prediction though it didn't meet, but then it was somewhat reasonable but ended 47k at the end of 2021 not even on half mark of $50k.

But as a new year reassurance for 2022 Elsavador president Nayib Bukele predict once again that BTC will hit $100,000.

The figure above looks funny to some people, I won't lie I have doubts for that too...lol!...but what do I know, I'm just a beginner in this whole thingy.

What do you guys think of BTC in 2022?

3  Economy / Trading Discussion / What is Bitcoin up since after Dump? on: November 13, 2021, 02:08:19 PM
Traders like me has wondered the next move for bitcoin. Ever since the dump that happened few days ago, it's been almost stagnant at $63k.

What does your technical analyst say about it?
4  Economy / Speculation / Re: What make people panic sell? on: November 10, 2021, 10:33:07 PM
It's simple; human beings generally like following the crowd. No one will want to keep watching his profit sink below cost price when others are cashing out and market is dumping on you, except the long term investors.

So, it's just like a reflex action now....

7  Other / Beginners & Help / How do you differentiate good Airdrops from bad ones? on: October 27, 2021, 01:33:38 AM
Mostly, newbies to Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency at large participate more in Airdrops as a way of adding more coins to their bags but often times, they fall victim to scammers and fake airdrops.

I personally have not been participating that much in it because a couple of it I tried was scam or they will end up not giving me. But I noticed some of them are real and people benefit from them.

So my question is HOW CAN ONE KNOW REAL AIRDROP that will pay?
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your strategy to carry on making money when Bitcoin turns bearish on: October 27, 2021, 01:13:36 AM
To the real traders, whether BTC is bullish or bearish, they trade! They take advantage of every side of BTC and that's the level I think everyone of us should aim to get to...
9  Other / Beginners & Help / Must Know Security Tips to Protect your Bitcoin against Thefts and Hacks on: October 25, 2021, 12:53:58 PM
This small article is specially for my fellow beginners but everyone can read; you may still learn something even as a PRO you're...

As we all are now holding or trading Bitcoin, we should not forget the fact that this is digital money. We carry our money in our hands; several wallets, exchange platforms and what have you, we login and store our money. This is cool but have you thought of the numerous risks this is associated with?

It may interest you to know that keeping your assets in Exchange platforms is not even advisable(not safe), how then do you store/keep your Bitcoins safe you may ask?

One of the best ways to protect your Bitcoin investment is to secure a wallet; physical (or "cold") wallets thay look like USB drives and act as a physical store for tokens or coins.
But not many of us can acquire this, but it's advisable to go for it if you can afford it.

Apart from the above, there are some other small but vital things you can do on your own to safeguard your Bitcoin on exchange platforms or online wallets if that is the only option and cheapest way you've got. They include but not limited to the following:

1. Be conscious of the fact that you're holding money in your hands(I.e in your devices, which is online) and that the Internet is not safe. Trust me, that's the first step.

2. Avoid clicking anyhow link you don't know what they're, especially those without https, they can be malicious.

3. Keep your recovery phrases safe and don't disclose with anyone on no condition. No customer care of this exchange platforms can request for it, only a scammer will.

4. Avoid using the account you have your assets or investment in to participate in Airdrops, most of them are fake and only trying to get into your wallet.

5. Use 2-Factor Authentication where necessary and don't disclose your password to anyone.

6. Always monitor you devices to know where and where your accounts are logged in and if they're really you.

7. Make sure you don't allow unauthorised users to the devise where your crypto wallets are logged in.

I strongly believe when you do all these as a beginner, no one can hack you not to talk of stealing your Bitcoin.

Please, let's feel free to drop more tips we have noted down, maybe from experience so we learn together and be safe. Thanks!
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / HODL, HODL, HODL when can one actually sell Bitcoin? on: October 24, 2021, 09:27:34 PM
So I keep hearing HODL, HODL, keep holding and all that. My simple question to everyone is "when is actually the right time to sell Bitcoin or we don't ever sell it"?

How then do we say we have made money from it if we don't sell?
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I grow my Crypto Bag without trading on: October 17, 2021, 01:33:19 PM
Hi everyone,
I'm new to Bitcoin and crypto in general, though I'm learning and growing fast.

I hold some coins but I wonder if I am making profit that way. Trading really require more skills and knowledge of crypto and the trading platform, hence I don't want to rush in. So, are there ways to increase my bag without Trading?

A lot of way.
If you have a capital at first, you could buy a good fundamental coins and invest on them, hold for a long time for big profits in the future.
You could also do staking coins, there are many platofrm available for staking right now.
If you have no capital at first, you could do airdrops or bounties that you could found on this forum

Thanks, I've noted your points sir....
I'm new here and still trying to get to understand more about Bounties and platforms to secure jobs with my skills.

13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China issue a nationwide ban on cryptocurrency mining, on: October 13, 2021, 07:21:45 AM
I feel they have really done enough and people are already getting bored of hearing them ban Bitcoin more than 2twice a week. They should do everything they wish once and rest, Bitcoin is now bigger than anyone or country.
14  Economy / Reputation / Re: I need tips on how to Build my reputation. I'm a Newbie on: October 12, 2021, 10:45:14 AM
I am very grateful to all your replies so far.

I guess some Lengendaries here misunderstood my question, I only asked this question because I was totally confused and bit lost. I See people with different tags and badges and all that, I just wanted to know what they did to earn all that....no ulterior motives whatsoever.

Thanks to those that referred me to beginners forum and help, I have spent quite enough time there now learning a lot.

Please, you guys should be nice to beginners and at least help them find their feet....most of you were really harsh and that's not nice at all. In all, I appreciate you all.

16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can China Ban on Bitcoin have any negative effect on Bitcoin in future? on: October 10, 2021, 07:01:58 AM
China bans Bitcoin many times in history and let's do retrospectively check on what happened so far

If you look at those chart, data and the article, you would realize that China ban events don't have long lasting effects.

Thanks so much for the links to get more info!

I can't agree with you less sir....but I see them going ahead to try to influence other big countries to follow their foot steps.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Can China Ban on Bitcoin have any negative effect on Bitcoin in future? on: October 10, 2021, 06:33:52 AM
Considering the fact that China keeps fighting to make sure they totally ban anything that has to do with Crypto (Bitcoin), we now notice that these days, their announcements now has less negative effect on Bitcoin, I.e Bitcoin don't fall careless again because of news from China like before.

But yet, investors and Bitcoin enthusiasts like me are beginning to worry if on the long run, China's ban can have a lasting drastic effect on Bitcoin or not.?
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why did you miss Bitcoin? on: October 10, 2021, 06:23:55 AM
Information is really key and having the right set of friends around you who can bring some valuable information your way.

Well, I won't say I totally missed bitcoin; I will say why I didn't catch it early is because of lack of information and not having the right set of friends around me.
