I noticed that there's a signature campaign going on, but I'm sure there's more that could be done to draw attention to the site and retain bettors. E.g. running promotions, adding more chat/social features, adding more coins (ltc, xmr, eth, etc.).

It's debatable what can be considered "dicing". Some could argue Satoshidice was first because they had a instant lottery style game where you can bet on different outcomes by sending to different addresses. JD was first I saw that made use of strong fairness which also became standard, they also introduced rolling Hi or Lo, crowd-investing etc.

I guess if he really did sell the ICO coins for USD while the price of BTC was high then it's OK, because he can buy back cheap BTC to pay you back. But if he's holding them as BTC still then it seems like a risk.
