1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does anyone truly understand IOTA? on: July 03, 2017, 09:13:23 PM
Neither I understand iota strategy nor I understand the free transaction I just believe in iota because of huge market cap which is 1.6 billion that is the only thing i believe in iota
I like your insight. Do you have a twitter, or blog, or something so that I can follow you? Cool
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: June 18, 2017, 09:00:14 PM
What is the max transactions per second can IOTA handle? Ripple can do 1,000 per second which is the record right now, can IOTA do better?

Yes IOTA can do much better.

If you knew Russian and what Vitalik was seing about supporting ico's - companies. muwhahah it will go down to 5-10 cent witin 1 month.

Do you realize that IOTA has nothing to do with all these icos being hyped and done all the time these days ? IOTA has been around since 2015.

Also you actually said:
The problem with this coin is that it's basically a company fueled by ethereum
This is complete nonsense, and void in all sense of reality.

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: June 15, 2017, 09:17:51 PM
People are yelling scam for this coin.
Even on other forms they are saying this about it saying people are in a panic now and dumping it causing it drop hard in value.

I yelled scam at 0.60 cents, now it's 0.33 cent so people lost double of their money atm. The problem with this coin is that it's basically a company fueled by ethereum, Vitalik himself Confirmed in Russia that ethereum is a Company during Russian business conference. And yes i'm Russian.

Only retards would support this.

Wtf ? ''company fueled by ethereum''.
Please stop taking serious drugs, that is delusional.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: June 15, 2017, 09:12:41 PM
I can't believe people are still paying 350x the value of these. Better than the people that bought it out of the gate, but yeah...
IOT   $1,383,953,144    $5e-07   2,779,530,283,277,760 *   $10,106,300
So, it's actual value is $5e-07 which comes out to $0.001257
For anyone that made this one of their first purchases, I have a feeling they'll never come back to crypto. Nice work.

You are completely wrong.
The marketcap is correct.
The supply of individual iotas is correct.
1383953144/2779530283277760 = 0.0000004979090001 $
The cost of 1 iota is = 0.0000004979090001 $

The unit being traded on bitfinex is Mi = MegaIOTAS = 1 000 000 iotas.
0.0000004979090001 * 1000000= 0.4979 $

50 cents for 1 Million iotas. That is what is being traded.

Coinmarketcap is drunk and doesn't know whether to show the full supply of individual IOTAS, or the supply of MegaIOTAS (Mi).

If coinmarketcap shows a supply of:
2,779,530,283
Then it is referring to Mi (Mega iotas, which equal 1 Million IOTAS each).

If you are calculating in individual IOTAS (comparable to Satoshis with bitcoin, very similar supply, then it is an extremely small value for 1 iota of course, just like 1 satoshi is a very small value, often called 'dust'. With iota you can actually transfer 1 iota, such a small value perfectly intact to another user.) This is why trading is conducted in Mi (1 Million iotas).

Do we have to claim again with this new version? I successfully claimed previously (could see my balance on the tangle explorer)
I suspect that one last claim will be required after the impending snapshot, but not yet. Try to check in periodically to keep up with things as they progress.

Are you sure about an actual claim process? I think with the snapshots, you only need to generate addresses again.

14  Economy / Services / Re: 0.25 BTC+ research bounty available to make a comparison chart/table on: December 05, 2016, 08:21:54 PM
Here is details of task (available at the link):

We require a comparison chart of HEAT technology compared to some other crypto platforms, at least the following:

- Bitcoin
- Steem
- Ethereum
- Waves
- Ardor

- Any others that promise to carry:

Asset-to-asset exchange
OR scalability of 100+ tps
OR sliced file blockchain

Required parameters for comparison: features, technology used (PoW, PoS, DPos etc.), actual tps max capacity, blockchain size, expected blockchain growth rate. We'll supply this info for HEAT.

Bounty: about 0.25 BTC or more, depending on the scale of work and paid after delivery, pdf invoice required

Written report / table needed within 7 days max.

***If you are able to do this job, please reply in the thread at heatledger.net to reserve the job for you.***

Possible examples are updated at the link. Design isn't critical in this task though, pure information is more important I believe.

How is ARK different from Heat Ledger? Heat was the concept to connect multiple crypto together as one of its major applications. This is same?

I think they are quite different. From my perspective: HEAT targets businesses. it's scalable, has an exchange, a crypto-to-cyrypto exchange, and also fiat on the blockchain pending, read whitepaper for more.

ARK targets consumer users from what I understand, and alot more too. Both unique, both great project in my opinion. I like both.

I do not know why I have a good feeling about this one, and had great expectations, do you feel the same? Grin

This is the reason for me

in naming the brand, this name looks simple and easily spelled, so it is not make confusing to common people in general by the naming, especially if later in naming the ticker in the market remains to be named ARK, so it will remain 1 ARK is 1 Ark, no different in the naming and ticker,

unlike 1 BTC for 1 Bitcoin, 1 ETC for 1 Ethereum classic and many more coin << I'm sure many people would be confused with this naming

actual examples that are close for this is like Dash and Qora, its also same between the ticker and name,
but I think ARK more sounds simple and sexy in spelling and writing, as it consists of three letters catchy >> ARK  Grin

so this is a great brand for a coin that can be directed as the money or currency of the future and can be familiar to everyone in the world  Grin ( i hope so)

the philosophy of the name is also nice
stories about the "holy ark in the past" relating to the history of changing the quality of mankind and changes to the quality of world when God wants to upgrade the damaged earth with the flood disaster, and at the end of the story, from this ark all subsequent "new life" are begins.

That's my expectation, so let us together transform and upgrade the world with this second holy Ark  Grin
 will you board?

I will board this ARK. Many points well said. I agree, ARK is a brilliant name for an ecosystem such as this one. I hope we can see great things. By the way: 86 % and counting!
