Investing .01 Btc? Hmmm? Sell ur .01 Btc, get $50, then you should buy 10 packs of 24 bottles of spring water and a cooler with wheels, the big fat wheels designed for the sand. Then go to the nearest beach/outdoor concert/Donald Trump/Bernie Sanders rally on a hot day and sell them for $1.50 a bottle. That's a profit of $32 per Pack, total earned $320 for a few hours work.

Then next week hire ten people to work for u and split the profit with them 50/50, total profit $1,600 bucks.. Rinse and repeat...

This actually works and was the way I financed my way through college. No BS.

The fact that the bitvestmint website looks lazy is one thing that triggers my 'stay away' alarm.

Besides, the discount % is kinda large actually. It's a little sketchy. Goodluck finding people to join your 'program' though.

Looks lazy? What does that even mean.

HAHAHA Good one.

Theists may pray for me. I will think for them!

God organizes your thinking according to the prayers of the theists.    Cool

You have a God Complex.  Grin   https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/God_complex

If you only knew God, you would realize that He is very complex. For starters, anyone Who creates a universe like He created this one, would have to be complex beyond understanding.

Cool

EDIT: I looked at the Wikipedia link. This is exactly the way atheists must feel to place themselves above God by stating that He doesn't exist... in the face of nature all around them, and the fact that science has proven His existence.

Science has proven his existence?? hahaha what a bunch of hogwash!! Only thing proven is that you've been brainwashed and are gullible.
4  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do Atheists hate Religion ? on: May 24, 2016, 03:39:55 PM
I hate it because religion takes advantage of the ignorant.

I hate it because religion turns good people into racist.

I hate it because religion justifies doing evil things to people.

I hate it because religion is used to make decent, upstanding citizens into murderers.

Religion is and has always been the root of all evil. it should be banned.

The world should commit itself to educating the masses, exposing the fraudsters and imprisoning the scumbags profiting from the gullible.

Oh lord hear my pleas and strike down the proselytizing thieves and charlatans that have for so many years brought pain and suffering to the world.

Amen... 😈

From orobtc, -

"Yep.  Almost always something that appears to be too good usually is a scam.  This applies not only to Bitcoin, but to almost anything you can think of."

"There is no such thing as a free lunch."

That's what you seem to not understand, it's not to good to be true. It's a fair exchange. They take the $ now and buy miners, they get 6 months to mine before paying anything.

Then they pay you back over 18 payments, getting a full 2 years with the money to mine with. For them its cheap money in essence a loan with no payments for 6 months and they pay with the proceeds from the miners they bought with my money.

From my point of view, since I intended all along to buy bitcoins now and hold them for at least 2 years (probably (5-10 really), then I get to buy at the 20% discounted price and still get all my coins long before i had planned to sell them anyway.

The big question is, will they be around long enough to honor my entire payout.

That's the gamble, and I won't know for sure until 6 months from now and further even to 2 years down the road.

So if you're going to comment on this at least do some research as to what the deal they are offering really is.

The too good to be true line does not fit this offer, neither does free lunch quote...

from bittraffic said-
"Funny because you've been in bitciontalk.org for 2 years and never learned how users react to new sites that seem to be scammy and yet you still bought from them?"

Yes but only looking at bitcoin to learn about them and the potential for them to go up in value way back when they were supposed to be going to the moon.

I've been using Coinbase for years. I never contemplated buying elsewhere and frankly speaking this site is really hard to use it makes u  wait like 360 seconds here before posting, 60 more for searching, jeez its as if they don't want ppl to use it.

For me it works cause I have no plans on selling for at least a couple years. & a $90 discount per coin is a lot, so it doesn't matter that i don't get to hold them in my wallet for the 1st. 6 months.

Wow, seems you guys are pretty down on this company and me.

I don't know how to reply to individual posts on this blog, so i'm replying en-masse.

I am not a complete newbie here, i just have never posted, only read stuff here, I may have another user name that i forgot too, because i thought i made comments a few times about a year & half ago.

PPl. asked why not buy from exchanges or local bitcoins.. For me, i'm buying to hold for years, at least 2 maybe 10-20 or for my retirement. So 20% discount is big to me since im not a short term trader.

and I'm not stupid either, I've called the company read about them on reddit and checked out the who is and verified that their corp. was in good standing with State too. I read their press releases from bitvest inc about their mining going back to 2014.

Plus i used my Amex and if something happens i can get refund. plus i only bought one coin.

one of u asked why they're offering discount, they use the proceeds to buy more mining computers. Makes sense to me, they get 2 years to pay in full, 6 months no payments with 18 payments monthly, payments from the miners producing bitcoins all along. Anyway i'm not trying to convince anyone here to buy anything i was just asking if anyone knew them..

I'm emailing them a link to this blog, i think they're the ones that should be talking to u guys from here..

I have spoken to the company at length and since they've been in business over 2 years and the 20% discount is a good deal as long as you don't intend on trading the coins before the 180 days..

Soooooo I'm jumping in,,,  lol  I've gone ahead with my purchase. If i get ripped off I'll report back, :-)
Wish me luck lol
12  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Buying Bitcoins from bitvestmint.com on: May 13, 2016, 06:35:22 PM
Actually the price per bitcoin is only $361 after applying 20% discount off spot price.
And I checked out their parent company www.bitvestinc.com they've been in business 2.5 yrs mining and I found old PR's on Coindesk about them too.
They seem legit or i wouldn't be going this far to check em out.

Anyone here know anything about this company? Seems like a good deal for long term buying. As long as they are gonna be around for the long term..
