Stable Bitcoin alternative DNotes is focused on long-term adoption and solving real-world issues for the unbanked and people worldwide from all walks of life. DNotes' ecosystem includes the world's first Cryptocurrency Investment Savings Plans (CRISPs) for retirees, employees, students, and children worldwide. Bitcoin has correctly been credited as the most disruptive technology in the monetary system since the debit card. However, Bitcoin has been hit with countless negative headlines and has arguably settled with a very limited purpose as a speculative trading vehicle. Some believe Bitcoin is failing to meet the full function of money and gain mass acceptance as it is too costly to acquire, and too volatile as a store of value and medium of exchange.

But Bitcoin's ground-breaking technology laid the foundation for improved and more advanced cryptocurrencies that have a real chance to make it into the mainstream and revolutionize the monetary system just as the debit card once did. The main innovation stemming from Bitcoin is trustless transactions, meaning transactions are fully decentralized and do not rely on a central bank or government. Bitcoin also introduced the primary innovation of blockchain technology; a public ledger where all Bitcoin transactions are recorded indefinitely together with all Bitcoin 'blocks' that have been mined to secure the network.

DNotes is the second generation Bitcoin alternative digital currency taking full advantage of the pioneer Bitcoin's innovation while avoiding the pitfalls. It was clear early that DNotes strives to maintain reliable long-term appreciation building stability, trust, and currency value in line with fundamental value.

DNotes is a currency with a purpose with global initiatives to help solve global problems. There are currently 2.5 billion people worldwide that do not have a bank account, insurance, or are under-served by banks and financial service companies. DNotes is beneficial for the unbanked as it does not require a stable government, includes inexpensive transactions, minimal exchange fees, and near zero remittance costs for sending money to any country. No ID is required for people who do not have one or do not trust their governments. DNotes has the potential to change the wealth of nations and their citizens by enabling anyone, anywhere to tap into the emerging wealth creation opportunities provided by digital currency.

Bitcoin will most likely go down in history as one of the greatest technology revolutions in history. Bitcoin as a currency is an integral part of the technology pack, powered by the Blockchain as the most innovative protocol of decentralized distributed consensus ledger ever conceived. DNotes, designed from the ground up with a purpose as the stable trustworthy digital currency for everyone, is destined to possibly become the global Digital Currency of the future with lasting value. With an ecosystem that currently consists of DNotesVault, Cryptocurrency Investment Saving Plans and CryptoMoms, DNotes is the currency with the highest potential for mass global acceptance. The DNotes ecosystem consists of highly scalable buildings block to expand rapidly on a global scale at the most opportune time.

Jeff is one of my new connections on LinkedIn professional network. He is an amazing writer, Ghostwriter, Speaker, and Inc. Magazine Contributing Editor.

Among other things, it reminds that we all get "lucky breaks" from time to time. Most people don't recognize, appreciate, or take advantage of them and simply let them pass by.

I wish DNotes fell on my lap ten years earlier but instead of wishing what I cannot chance I consider it as my luckiest break of a life time. If it is being reflected that way, it is because I believe that it is. As Henry Ford said, “Whether you think you can, or you think you can't--you're right.”

Enjoy.

Ten Choices You Will Always Regret Making

Hindsight is a funny thing. Look forward and the path seems uncertain, the future unpredictable. Look back and all the dots seem to connect... except the dots that mark the choices you didn't make, and the risks you didn't take.

Here are choices you will someday regret having made:
1. Choosing not to be brave.
Being brave doesn't mean you aren't afraid -- in fact, the opposite is true. Courage without thought or meaning is simply recklessness. Brave people aren't fearless;they've simply found something that matters more to them than fear.

Say you're scared to start a business. Find a reason that means more: creating a better future for your family, wanting to make a real difference, or hoping for a more rewarding and fulfilling life.
Once you find a greater meaning, you also find courage. See fear not as something to shrink from but as something to overcome -- because that's all it is.

The important point here is "choice". Everything we do in life starts with a choice. If you think you can't make one, then you are wrong, as you have already decided, and made the choice not to choose.

YES, the choices we make are who we have become and are yet to be! There are always three choices in any situation. Do it, don't do it, or do nothing.

maybe I am stupid but is there a limit to how many HYP you can send in a tx? I was trying to send 5m in the testnet and was getting :

Error: Transaction creation failed

But there was nothing in my log at all. It allows me to send at least 2m.

Don't know, but congrats on Legendary Status!!

Does anyone have the formulas for calculating Potential Stake, Days to Stake, Weight and Priority? The calculations that are on the coin control page of the Wallet.

Quote
You can identify the specific utxo (what we call a coin "block") by referring to what the outpoint is. Outpoint is a combination of the transaction hash it came from and the index number the output is in that specific output array. I plan on presenting this info in an easier to understand format on my explorer in the future.

The outpoint is included as a transaction input for the coinstake transaction.

This would be very helpful to have. Thanks Presstab.

I would definitely like to see altcoins such as this be very successful. I have devised a way to make Hyper Stake and many other coins even more popular than they are today. If you would like I will present the idea here in a brief format. If this is permissible in this thread. I see the success of crypto currency as being accelerated by the use of my invention. The more coins that are successful the better the odds for all crypto currencies.

Please do by all means necessary. I would really like to see your idea.

but if we drop to 1% towards the end won't the volume also drop and that's what we are doing this for?

No, not what I meant. Start at 10% and then each week for let's say 4 weeks drop it 1%. So...
Week 1 - 10%
Week 2 - 9%
Week 3 - 8%
etc...

Would get volume and not run things too crazy.

right i get what you mean. i guess my questions is how bittrex gauges volume. because it seems that towards the end of the month we get the warning for delisting. i don't know if that means that it is a total monthly or a reading from that specific day.

if it's toward the end and a specific day then that's when we would want the 10% i think. i could be wrong Smiley

I am unsure of how bittrex measures volume. I can ask Richie how that is determined so we know for sure. Anyway, I will definitely put in my two Octo to prevent any delisting. I have been a proponent from the start and will continue to be so!

That is a really interesting discussion going on Chase!

I just watched this 3 minute video about 'leadership' and starting a movement. I found it incredibly interesting. I feel much like Digital Currency is currently sitting at the point where about 3 people are involved in the timeline of the video.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbaemWIljeQ

It highlights how 'viral' both Digital Currency, and the DNotes project could become if we can stand up for our values / passion / mutual interests, and embrace our 'first follower' status.

Suddenly I feel like DNotes Dancing! What an excellent video to show the power of one person who leads the way and how others, finding his actions worthy, join in and all become one. Once people realize that DNotes is that "One", then all will join and become one. DNotes global commerce acceptance is inevitable.

Been away from crypto for over a year.... decided to check on my holdings... one of the original 500 stakeholders and still holding my full 30k... Good to see this coin is still alive!

Nice to see you back! I was looking and there are numerous blocks at 30k that have not staked in close to a year. Now I know why. Thanks for the clarification. Yes, been a year and things coming along nicely still. KTK is here to stay.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [HYP] HyperStake | High PoS | Secure | MultiSend | liteStake | Adv Coin Control on: June 05, 2015, 01:31:35 AM
In the coin control list mode I'm getting estimates of between 50-64 days for individual matured blocks to stake, while on the syncing wheel at the front of the wallet console, I'm getting 3-5 days and 2-4 days to staking.

The second bit takes into account every block you have. As an example that may be easier to grasp, imagine you have a dice, and you roll it till you get a 1. You have 1/6 chance to get 1 at each roll. The expected number of rolls till you get 1 is.... hmmm. a few. You will likely need to roll a few times to get a 1. You might get a 1 on the first roll, and you might need to roll 10 times before getting one if you're not lucky.

Now, picture a HYP block being such a dice, rolling every second. And now imagine you've got 100 dice. And think about if you roll these 100 dice at once, what is the expected number of whole rolls to get at least a 1 ? It's pretty likely you'll get at least a 1 in that first mass roll.

That's why you get an overall expected time to stake that's a lot lower than the typical time to stake for a single block. The more blocks you have, the larger the gap.
So, what's the role of the difficulty in all this game?
I suppose that bigger blocks have higher odds than smaller ones.
no?

Well in theory bigger blocks have higher odds due to coin weight. A large block size like 25K will have a coin weight around 200k around day 10 if I remember correctly. A block size smaller will have less weight. In theory the more coin weight a block has, the sooner it should stake. This is not always true and has been proven to only be a guide. For example I have had on many occasions, smaller block sizes stake before the larger and older blocks. It is a roll of the dice as in previous posts. Having a higher coin weight will increases your chances to win the stake, but you will not always win.

Just give up dude. Joe's gone. Let's just hope that someone else will continue the project.
