It is not possible for bitcoin to replace the dollar when there is more than 80% of the world population that has no idea about bitcoin. It will take decades for all people to know about bitcoin and believing in it is a far away thing.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which part of Bitcoin do you think it's the hardest to understand? on: January 19, 2022, 05:38:31 AM
Itís not easy for everyone to understand how bitcoin works. I didn't even understand that in the very beginning. I thought that there is only one person who mines bitcoins and traders have to buy from him and then sell to other traders. It took time for me to find out what it is in reality.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need a movie about Bitcoin on: December 31, 2021, 03:50:22 AM
Itís a great idea but not everyone would be interested in such a movie. I know that bitcoin is popular but it is not so popular that everyone knows about it. But we can also see it as a way of making more people know about it.

The Crypto market has been trending upwards for a while now. The pandemic helped cryptocurrencies on their way up and is today more profitable than traditional investments.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They will try to stop Bitcoin on: November 25, 2021, 04:50:03 AM
Many tried to stop Bitcoin from becoming successful. It didn't work. When it comes to new technologies, there are always people who don't want them to survive. These are the same individuals who are trying to stop Bitcoins. Many countries in the world tried to stop Bitcoin and failed. Bitcoin has been accused of a lot of things. From funding terrorism to money laundering and even using it for criminal purposes, it has not stopped the people from using it.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency is important for a country? or not... on: November 24, 2021, 04:15:34 AM
There is no denying the fact that cryptocurrencies are important for any country because of the peopleís trust in them. They are transparent and offer a faster and safer way of making transactions. If people decide to hold them for a longer period of time, it can also help them fight inflation.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin ever get regulated on: November 24, 2021, 03:56:59 AM
I donít think so. In fact, bitcoin not being regulated is a major reason why people invest and trade it. I donít see any chances of bitcoin getting regulated any time soon.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you pay with crypto??? on: November 24, 2021, 03:50:36 AM
No, I donít. I didnít even think of doing that because I consider bitcoin as an asset. Moreover, there are not many things that I can buy with bitcoin or any cryptocurrency. So, I am good with fiat currency.

Not for all, obviously. There are still a lot of people in the world who hardly know about bitcoin; using it is a far cry for them.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Do Young Investors Prefer Cryptocurrencies? on: November 22, 2021, 04:44:59 AM
Thatís simply because young people know where the world is heading these days. They know that cryptocurrencies are our future. They like the fact that they own their money because cryptocurrencies are decentralized and there is no involvement of the government.

12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe BTC can be attacked? on: November 19, 2021, 07:35:10 AM
So far, I never heard of an incident where bitcoin was attacked; maybe because of the excellent technology behind it. But we cannot say that it wonít ever be attacked. If the hackers get through the loopholes, they can attack it anytime. But I see very little possibility of anything such happening.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to my bitcoin if I die today? on: November 18, 2021, 05:19:02 AM
If no one has any information or access to your bitcoin, it will be lost forever. In such a case, you can let your loved ones know about it and share the key with them so that they can make use of it after you die. Itís completely your choice if you wish to donate it for the betterment of society.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain Bitcoin to Newbies on: November 18, 2021, 05:07:36 AM
Start with asking them about the fiat currency of your country and online transactions they do while shopping, etc. You better get an idea of what they know about online money transactions and whether they are ready to understand the concept of bitcoin. You can start with the basic definition of bitcoin and then, give them an article to read. Donít give them any deep information that wonít be of any use to them but a complete waste of time for you. If they feel more interested in it, they will come up with their own questions.

15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No one can continue ignoring Bitcoin on: November 18, 2021, 04:58:54 AM
On one side, bitcoin is growing tremendously but on the other, there is still a population of people that has no idea about what it is and how it can be used.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you want to see Bitcoin legal in your country? on: November 17, 2021, 05:51:25 AM
Frankly, I am okay with bitcoin not being a legal tender because itís not prohibited and I have my full control over it. As there are fewer government interferences I am free to make my decisions solely on the basis of what I want to do.
