4  Other / Beginners & Help / How to earn from Cryptos in Binance and Trustwallet on: November 19, 2021, 03:08:22 PM
Friends, I have a few cryptos in Binance, which I don't want to sell anytime in near future. Atleast for 6 months from now.

Cryptos in Binance are High Cap cryptos like VET, MANA, SOL, ETH, BNB, ADA, ICP, and many others. Currently, I have added in FLEXIBLE earning. Quantities are of approx $15 each.....I see earning is very much less in FLEXIBLE earning. Is there any other option to earn more money on Binance?

Also, I have some low cap cryptos in Trustwallet (TW) like ANRX, MYRA, WND, FINA, ASPO, etc.....These are idle for few days......is there any way to earn from this. I cannot see, STAKE options in all these cryptos. There is the option of STAKE in TRX, but in all other, there is no such option. All cryptos are of BSC chain only. On PANCAKE, I can see there is option of LIQUIDITY, FARM and POOLS. But, I am not able to understand those things. Can you please guide me? For pancake I have below doubts
1. Can I get back my crypto any time I want, or they are for locked period. As this is low cap cryptos, I don't want to lock it. I want it back whenever I want back
2. In each low cap cryptos I have initial investment of only $5. So I want option where fees are not charged.

Please guide

I have SmartChain BNB in my Trustwallet (TW) account.

1. Is it possible to buy ETH-based crypto on TW with SmartChain BNB. If yes, then please inform me how.
2. As I am a newbie, I want to buy ETH-based crypto for only $5.1 amount. Will it be cost-effective, as many people are saying cost will be high on ETH transactions? So I don't end up with like paying $5.1 for buying and paying $2 or $3 for transaction fees.

If you buy using BNB of course you can, but what you get is WETH (ETH in the BSC network) not the original ETH of the Ethereum network, because it is true that the Ethereum network has very expensive transaction fees at this time.

If you are interested in buying WETH you can enter the trustwallet dapp and select pancakeswap

By the way, I want to buy DEUS FINANCE. It is also on POLYGON Chain
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/deus-finance-2/

Please guide.
Go to the market section, you will find where these tokens are traded.

As per your iinstruction, after swaping BNB to WETH on pancakeswap, I will able to swap ETH based crypto on uniswap from eg WETH to DEUS? Right? My question is in this
1. In this case also fees will be high, as mentioned by 1 member above that it is minimum $10?

The latter part of your post made me think your main goal was not to get an answer to your question but promote the project you either personally invested in or simply were paid to shill for. Hope, I am wrong. Anyway, to get an answer to your second question just look here https://ethgasstation.info/. The lowest commission to send ETH right now is more than 10$, to send an ERC20 token it will cost even more. Consequently, it appears pointless from an economical point of view to make 5$ transactions when the fee to send such a transaction is twice as much.

lol...dear friend, I am new to crypto. You can check out threads created by me earlier on this forum. I am not such genius or influencer that somebody will pay me to promote any project.  Anyway, thank you, that you trusted me and guided that ETH fees are minimum $10 so to avoid it. I show that some crypto ( i will not mention name as somebody might think I am promoting that project Smiley  )  are being bought with MATIC also as they are on POLYGOIN CHAIN. Can we buy such  crypto on TW. If yes, then please guide me how?

I learned many thing from this great forum and thank you for helping me
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: buying ETH based crypto in TrustWallet on: November 18, 2021, 08:41:37 AM
Never mind my first answer. Let me explain this better

On trust wallet, you can use a particular chain to buy coin built on that chain, for example, you can buy TUSD which is built on ethereum blockchain with Ethereum.

So you can buy BEP2 tokens with BEP2 BNB

Which also means you can buy BSC tokens with BSC BNB.

You can convert BEP2 BNB to BSC BNB, but you can not convert BEP2 BNB or BSC BNB to ETH.

If you have BSC BNB, you will still not be able to convert it to ETH to be able to buy ERC20 token.

If you only want to trade $5.1, I will advice you not to trade it because it will required you to first go to am exchange that support conversion of BNB to ethereum like binance, then moving your ethereum to the wallet back, then swap it for the ethereum token. The transaction fee for ethereum on exchanges is huge, over $20 ethereum fee on binance.

Yes, right, I checked transferring ETH from Binance to TW is very much costly. So, will drop the plan to buy it.

Last thing, I show, we can buy DEUS with MATIC also. Can I do that from TW?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: buying ETH based crypto in TrustWallet on: November 18, 2021, 07:11:26 AM
It has been long that I have done this, it is very possible. If you want to buy or sell from or to ERC20 or BSC, just go to your trust wallet, click on dex, dex will be seen at the lower part of the wallet user interface, click on it. Choose the tokens you want to convert from and the one you want to convert it to, write the amount and press 'swap'. Make sure you have the an amount of ethereum gas or BSC fee that is needed for the swapping.

I did as you mentioned
1. It is showing BNB balance as ZERO, but I do have BNB balance. Attached screenshots
2. In attached screenshots when I click on TWT and search for DEUS, it shows message as NO ASSETS FOUND

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: transferring from trustwallet to metamask on: November 17, 2021, 01:39:51 PM
Is there a specific reason why you want to import/transfer your key to Metamask? If your Trustwallet's wallet is your cold storage ( or your main wallet where you store all of your important coins & tokens), maybe importing the key is not really a good choice.

Just to buy ETH-SOL-based cryptos. But here many people suggested that we can buy ETH based crypto also on TW and we can't buy SOL based on MM. So as of now, I am planning to stick with TW.

Also, I am little bit worried, that I will not be able to add RPC and other tokens. I created MM new account today, I added RPC of BSC, but I was not able to get RECEIVE address of BNB, so I thought it is not my cup of tea. So currently sticking with TW.

In TW, I will learn to buy ETH based tokens.

Okay.....thankyou everybody for the reply. My all doubts are now cleared.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: transferring from trustwallet to metamask on: November 17, 2021, 07:03:49 AM
-snip-

That's bullshit. I see it's just a competitor's review.
The gist of the explanation is that, no transaction fees go to the trustwallet developer's pocket whereas metamask only charges network transaction fees. It's the same as not explaining anything.
If it is described in the table it will be like this:

Fees
⠀Trust⠀
⠀Meta⠀
⠀Winner⠀
Network fees
Yes
Yes
-
DAPP⠀fees⠀(Thirdparty)⠀⠀⠀
Yes
Yes
-
Wallet fees
No
No
-

Very clear information.

If I import from TW to MM, still, I can see my crypto in TW? Because, as I am newbie, if I can't find my cryptos in MM or i am not able to use it, can I switch back to TW? Will my cryptos be there in TW also? Are they are in SYNC TW and MM, if I buy or sell in one wallet, it reflects in other wallet also, as recovery phrase will be same for both?

I read somewhere that using trustwallet is free. They don't charge fees for any transaction

Source? Maybe it's a fake truswallet, beware.
To store crypto, both are free with no limitations. To transact, both charge you transaction fees.

Below are two links where it says using TW is free and MM charges fees

Looking, at ALEXA traffic rank, this both website looks genuine

Metamask wallet only support ERC20 tokens, trust wallet suppot BEP2 and BSC and including ERC20. For confusion not to occur, it will be good for people not to import from trust wallet to metamask especially if having tokens that are not ERC20.
You're right on BEP2, but not in BSC. Metamask is supporting other chains including BSC, Avalanche, Fantom, Harmony, Huobi, Polygon, Kucoin, Elatos etc [1] [2] if you've set up the custom RPC.

Since @OP discuss about BSC token, so it shouldn't be a problem.

One more point I forgot to mention, not all chains are supported on Metamask. SOL chain isn't supported yet.

[1] https://truemiller.com/metamask-custom-rpcs/
[2] https://rpc.info/

oh...wow...i can buy any token on metamask by setting custom rpcs

I will refer the link provided by you.

Now, I read somewhere that using trustwallet is free. They don't charge fees for any transaction. But metamask do charge fees. Is this so?

I have some cryptos in trustwallet. (TW)

I want to transfer it to metamask (MM)

1. is there any fees to transfer from TW to MM
2. on TW i think we can buy only BSC Chain tokens. On MM we can buy any chain tokens, right? like ETH, SOL, BSC, etc...right?

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: cannot find BSC coin on Pancakeswap on: November 17, 2021, 03:25:45 AM
Dear, both screenshot are taken at just 1 minute difference. But I still agree with you that during this time, BNB price changes and this there can be difference in USD price.

BUT in BNB it should be same in both Screenshots. IF you check both Screenshots then FEES IN BNB are different in both screenshots. in one it shows 0.000797 and in one it shows as 0.001015
The transaction ID's of both transactions would be of much help than screenshots if you don't mind posting  them. I think the different might be due to the different gas prices or gas limits you used for the two transactions. It's a guess, but the transaction ID details can help debunk this.

Both screenshots are of same transaction. 1 screenshots is taken from BSC Chain and 1 screenshots taken from trustwallet

.......I think the different might be due to the different gas prices or gas limits you used for the two transactions.........
As OP said, both screenshots show a same transaction.
If I'm not wrong, the first screenshot has been taken from bscscan and the second one has been taken from trustwallet transaction history.

I just checked one of my own transactions in both trustwallet and bscscan and found out the problem.
The problem is with how trustwallet calculates the network fee.

In Bscscan the transaction fee is gas price * used gas.
In trustwallet the transaction fee is gas price * gas limit.

The number shown for network fee in trustwallet is wrong. Because the extra gas is always returned to the wallet and trustwallet doesn't consider this.
The fee paid for the transaction in question is 0.00079712 BNB.

Yes, you guessed right. the first screenshot has been taken from bscscan and the second one has been taken from trustwallet transaction history.

Okay.......so now, I will consider, BSCCAN as perfect.

Thank you dear...... you are miracle Smiley
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: cannot find BSC coin on Pancakeswap on: November 16, 2021, 04:27:43 PM
I paid 5.88 or 6.03?
I think both are correct, you have taken screenshots at different times.
The fee you pay is in BNB, so you cannot convert the net transaction fee in $ because it always changes according to the BNB price.

(Your total spend BNB * 0,25%) + your BNB for gas fee = Your net fee
(0,0091841238583506 BNB * 0,25%) + 0,000797922007368 BNB= 0,0008209 BNB

Calculation in rate 1BNB= $589.01

So my doubt is, transaction fees is calculated on percentage basis or how. If I transact of say $10 then also fees will be in the range of $0.45 - $0.60?
The fee you pay for every trade is the sum of the trade fee and the transaction fee.

The trade fee is a percentage of the trade volume. So the bigger amount you trade, the more you have to pay as trade fee.
The transaction fee depends on network state and doesn't depend on the trade volume.

Edit:
According to this article, the trade fee is 0.25%.

Sorry one more question. I have attached 2 screenshot of 1 single transaction. Can you please inform what is the net total amount I paid in $

5.41 + 0.47 = 5.88

5.43 + 0.60 = 6.03

I paid 5.88 or 6.03?

I often experience things like this, where the token name does not appear when entering the Smart Contract Address.
All you need to do is just refresh the pancakeswap page or close and reopen it and it will work.
It's just a connection issue.

Thank you, Taufik.

Can you please answer this.....

I tried swaping on panckae 4-5 different transaction. As I am newbie I tried first with $1.5 - then with $3 and now with $5 .. i noticedin each transaction transaction fees is around $0.45 - $0.60  - no matter whatever is the total transaction value.

So my doubt is, transaction fees is calculated on percentage basis or how. If I transact of say $10 then also fees will be in the range of $0.45 - $0.60?
