21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What about the new alts? on: November 24, 2021, 09:14:51 PM
I think you can turn your attention to the $Aurora token.  Aurora is an EVM that runs on the NEAR blockchain.  The token is the management token for this project.  The token was invested by such venture investors as Panther Capital, dragonfly Capital, OKEX Ventures.  And the DAO of the project includes DODO, Covalent, 1inch - which hints at further partnerships and the integration of Aurora into these projects.  It is also worth considering that Aurora is currently traded on only two exchanges (Gate.io and MEXC), but considering the funds that supported this project, I think we should expect listings on large exchanges, I think OKEX will be the first Smiley
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How will fundamental projects survive a bear market? on: November 24, 2021, 08:53:49 PM
No matter how strong the fundamental project is, it will still be very difficult for it in the bear market.  But unlike 2018, the projects have their own Ecosystems, thanks to which they will be able to spend more time on the market.  It is also worth considering that now, in percentage terms, projects have grown, fundamental projects have grown much more in 2017, so most likely they will not disappear from the market completely, but will simply become much cheaper, and this will open up excellent opportunities to buy cool projects at business prices.  Personally, I will buy Elrond, and NEAR (I believe that buying them in the bear market is the same as buying Ethereum in 2018)
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Play-to-Earn games on ETH: What's the catch? on: November 20, 2021, 12:12:35 AM
I see hype surrounding Play-to-Earn games (P2E) lately, just because it brings a new income stream to gamers. Many people are greedy, so they recur to blockchain-based games with the hopes of making big bucks in return. While P2E sounds promising, it's limited to the underlying blockchain network's capacity. I sometimes wonder what's the catch of games which "give away money for free", since fees on ETH are so high right now. How does the game generate revenue by itself? I suppose it's not out of thin air. We'll have to see how this will play out during an extended bearish market. Most probably, P2E will fail just like ICOs back in 2017.

Thoughts? Huh
I know that Near Protocol invested $100M to develop #playtoearn games, and that in NEAR Network transactions cost <0.01$, and the speed is 2 seconds.  I wonder what will eventually come of this.  EVM Aurora was also launched on NEAR, and games that are launched on ETH, in theory, can be transferred to the NEAR network
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "Eth2" Started yesterday. Aurora drop own token. on: November 19, 2021, 11:58:31 PM
In fact, Aurora is a gem.  The largest venture capital funds are behind it.  Also, now there are only 0.1% of tokens in circulation (the price will be very easy to grow), 1inch is included in the Aurora DAO, I think we should expect a big announcement in the future Smiley.  Well, it is also worth noting today's partnership and integration of Aurora into Math Wallet
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 100xcoin boom on: November 19, 2021, 11:49:08 PM
Just woke up to noticed the 1000xcoin in my portfolio making a 3564% increase in price which to me a sign of a pump period, what are the indices that triggered such pump?
Apparently, Aurora went out to gate.io yesterday and on the Near blockchain network. Since the IDO, it's already 10x. The project is fundamental and solves the huge problems of the Ethereum network. So maybe this is exactly the token, waking up with which you can become a pump.
Totally agree with you.  It should be borne in mind that now the current supply is 0.1%, and the price can easily be raised to the moon.  There was only one listing on Gate.io, but if you look at what venture funds are behind the Aurora, you can understand that there will be many more large listings and announcements
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How you choose projects for investment on: November 13, 2021, 09:47:00 PM
Hello!
I want to know how you choose projects for investment?
At the moment I'm focusing on the Near Protocol.
I bought it back in early April and don't miss the chance to mention it.
What did I focus on when choosing it for investment?

1. Team (most of the famous developers worked in google and facebook)
2. Strong community (more than 100k on Twitter and a very strong forum)
3. Own blockchain (develop their own structure with their own EVM and cross-chain)
4. Solving existing problems in cryptocurrency (high fees, transaction processing speed, scalability)

This is a very brief description. At the moment I am faced with the choice to add a few more such projects to myself. Share your knowledge.
I completely agree with you, these four factors are the most important when choosing a project for investment, but I would add one more, fifth factor: small market cap.
The fact is that projects that meet all these four factors are most likely already very expensive and are in the top 20 in terms of capitalization, it is difficult to find some kind of project that would meet these parameters but would not be very expensive yet.  Personally, I invested in NEAR Protocol, since it corresponds to the four listed factors + 5 factor small market cap.
Now I will explain point by point why I chose NEAR Protocol:
1. The team currently consists of more than 100 people.  Also, the founders of NEAR Protocol, they are the winners of the world programming olympiads, who have been working in Google / Facebook for a long time.
2. Strong community (after spending many months in NEAR Protocol telegram chats, I can proudly say that NEAR has one of the friendliest communities, at one time I was always helped with answering questions, now I try to help others myself)
3.The Near Protocol has its own blockchain, which has a bridge with Ethereum and EVM Aurora.
4. Near Protocol was originally conceived as a blockchain that can solve all the problems that Ethereum now has, and it seems to me that the team succeeded.  Today Near Protocol has: small commissions, fast transaction processing speed, scalability, a native wallet with the most simple and convenient interface, Near uses popular programming languages such as: Rust and AssemblyScript, which makes it easier to write smart contracts.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Compare Layer 1s blockchains, which is better? on: November 11, 2021, 10:47:30 PM
Hi guys, today there are a lot of L1 blockchains. Which L1 blockchain do you think is the best and why?
For example, here are 4 of my favorites:

Polkadot (Block time: 6 sec, Tx Finality: 60 sec, Transactions per Second: up to +100k, Average Tx Fee 0.50$)

Cosmos (Block time: 1 sec, Tx Finality: 3-6 sec, Transactions per Second: 10k, Average Tx Fee 0.03$)

NEAR (Block time: 1 sec , Tx Finality: 2-3 sec, Transactions per Second: up to 100k , Average Tx Fee 0.02$)

Solana (Block time: 0.4 sec, Tx Finality: 60 sec, Transactions per Second: up to 100k, Average Tx Fee 0.01$)
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What project can replicate Solana's success? on: November 08, 2021, 09:01:31 PM
If study Solana, then I can highlight the following factors that influenced its success:
1. Fundamental project
2. Strongest venture funds
3. Strong community
Based on this, several projects can be distinguished that have the same factors: NEAR Protocol, Avalanche, Cosmos, Elrond, (also can add Polkadot and Cardano, but these projects are already in the top10)
The 3 points you listed are essential, but there are also others. Sometimes all it takes is pure luck or good publicity and marketing. SOL rose very fast very high. This also means that a completely new project could do something similar in a very short period of time under the right circumstances. It is impossible to predict. Invest in different small projects that you find convincing and hope for the best, but apart from that you can't do more
it makes sense, thanks for the advice
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What project can replicate Solana's success? on: November 08, 2021, 06:08:53 PM
Yes, as I mentioned above, polkadot and avalanche can repeat Solana's success, the fight is not over yet, but Solana is clearly in the lead now.  Rather, I wanted to ask the question, which project could increase in value as much as Solana.  Polkadot is a really good option, but it has already grown very much and is in the top 10.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What project can replicate Solana's success? on: November 08, 2021, 05:52:44 PM
Hi guys, it looks like Solana is confidently going to get into the top three by coinmarketcap. That's right, fundamental projects like Solana should be in the top 3.
But I am interested to hear your opinion, what project could repeat the success of Solana, and just as confidently get into the top 10, and grow in price several times?
If study Solana, then I can highlight the following factors that influenced its success:
1. Fundamental project
2. Strongest venture funds

31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins have the potential for growth? on: October 28, 2021, 07:37:28 PM
I want to express my opinion about Near Protocol, and tell why, i think this project has great opportunities for growth. I will try to describe everything in detail so that it does not look like a just "shill".

Let's start simple, Near Protocol is an L1 blockchain, the same as Solana, Ethereum, Avax, etc. NEAR launched in the mainnet exactly a year ago, and is now in the top 35 coinmarketcap, and has a market capitalization of $6billion.
Now let's move on to why this altcoin has the potential for grow several times.
1.The Team. Let's start with the team, Near Protocol was created by the world's best programmers, many of them are winners of the world programming olympiads. Presently the team is about 100 people who work every day to improve the blockchain and develop the Ecosystem.
2.Venture funds. The world's largest venture funds a16z, Pantera Capital, Coinbase and so on have invested in Near Protocol (by the way, Coinbase hasn't listed NEAR yet, so when this is another small potential for future growth). Such large investors are inclined towards long-term investments, and they will not be interested in fast xx.
3.Fundamental. There is not even much to describe here, the blockchain was built by the best programmers, and they wanted to solve the problems that were in Ethereum, and now NEAR has some of the best blockchain characteristics, transaction speed and gas charges, as well as in my opinion the most convenient wallet interface, makes Near Protocol is one of the most convenient and fastest blockchains.
4. Development of the Ecosystem and the bridge with Ethereum.  Just this week, the news was announced about the allocation of $800 million for the development of DeFi and the NEAR Ecosystem.  With such a large amount of money for grants, the NEAR Ecosystem will grow into one of the largest ecosystems in crypto. It is also worth mentioning the bridge with Ethereum and Aurora.  Aurora is an Ethereum Virtual Machine created by the team at the NEAR Protocol, delivering a turn-key solution for developers to operate their apps on an Ethereum-compatible, high-throughput, scalable and future-safe platform, with low transaction costs for their users.  Thanks to Aurora, many Ethereum projects that were previously launched on Ethereum, now will be able to launch in the Aurora network in one click and get all the benefits of NEAR blockchain.

This is why I think NEAR will be in the top 10 in the coming years. NEAR is not using dirty marketing to get a temporary hype, it is quietly evolving and working on a better future in web3, and soon it will be noticed.  Have a nice day, everyone!
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin you hold for Next Bull Run on: October 27, 2021, 08:10:45 PM
I would hold a fundamental projects that is not yet very hyped (and most likely will do it on the next Bull run).  By fundamental, I mean L1 projects with excellent blockchain performance.  There are many cool projects that are not worse than Solana in fundamental terms, but they are ten times cheaper, and I believe in such projects.  It is especially worth considering the presence of the largest venture capital funds, and how quickly the ecosystem is developing.  Good examples of fundamental projects with excellent venture capital funds and a rapidly growing ecosystem can be - ROSE, NEAR, EGLD, these projects are still very cheap compared to projects that have similar characteristics and fundamentals.  I think the next bull run will be for them.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt Coins to buy with 200$ on: October 27, 2021, 07:49:57 PM
I think it is worth paying attention to some projects that have not even entered the top 500 in terms of capitalization, but which are the largest venture funds.  In fact, there are many such projects, you just need to look.  It's better than buying overvalued coins from the top20
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Hotbit exchange, is it safe and good to trade here? on: October 27, 2021, 07:08:38 PM
I literally last week had my first experience with this exchange. A coin that I bought for deh was floated there. The deposit of this omenet came within 20 minutes, but the withdrawal was opened after 4 days, which strained me a little, because I did not want to sell all the coins. But in the end I got everything, and everything was successful, without any loss of funds.
Of the advantages of the exchange:
-Cool coin listings
- User-friendly interface
Cons:
-Large commissions for trading and withdrawal.
-No new coins are issued for a long time.
