341  Economy / Goods / Re: WTB: Weller WLC100 Soldering Iron + Tips on: March 08, 2013, 02:45:47 PM
What kind of tips do you have, what condition is the unit in (has it been taken care of, or has it just been collecting dust in the open?), and what are you looking to get for it?

Sorry, not selling mine.  It's my daily driver  Wink I use it all the time. I've got a whole bunch of tips, wedge and conical. From 1/64 on up. Just mentioning that I've been pretty happy with the Hakko. You mmight want to exapnd your search to more than just Wellers.

Getting a "500 Internal Server Error"

Take a look at a Hakko.  I have a Hakko 936 with various tips. Can easily solder .5mm pitch tsops. Like sega01 said, the tips are a key part of the equation.
344  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] X6500 FPGA BTC miners (With Escrow) USA ONLY via bitmit or verfied PayPal on: March 08, 2013, 01:53:24 AM
OK, I am probably doing something wrong, but I can only get the board to produce 38mh/s.

use TML bitstream and you should easily be able to get 425-450.
I run it and average about 475ish,  in a 60F ambient environment.

Pretty easy to make

346  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: PrimeAsic - 80 Ghash/sec Asic Miner on: March 04, 2013, 04:32:26 PM
Add several more of your ASICs hashing on ozcoin.  Grin
You do have more than 1 available, don't you?

Then "possibly" your claim will be more believeable.

Thanks!

That's a different guy than the first one.  This new one is in France.

Looks like he hasn't been active on site for about a month. :/
349  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Escrow list on: March 03, 2013, 10:12:26 PM
did a transaction thru BTCrow last night about 9:00 pm. Transaction was finalized by 9:30. Its now been over 14 hours, and Ive sent several messages to btcrow, on the site and thru email about my bitcoins, and I havent received a single reply. Getting very annoyed.

Looks like he hasn't been active on site for about a month. :/

5btc and you got a deal

Sells for between $250-$300 on my local Craigslist.
Tons on eBay over $300.  The price I've listed I feel is quite fair.

Thanks for your offer though.
351  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] HTC One S Mobile Phone (T-Mobile) on: March 03, 2013, 07:41:45 PM
If no interest, I'll be selling this on CL/eBay in the next couple of days.
352  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Announcement] Avalon ASIC Batch #1 Ships on: March 01, 2013, 05:27:52 PM
Are there still people who haven't had their order confirmed by Avalon from Batch #2?

If you have gotten a confirmation from Walletbit, it has been stated from Avalon that they have your order with the information on the Walletbit receipt.   I contacted WB they confirmed and Avalon confirmed the day in Batch #2 pre-order.

Wouldn't it be helpful though it they straightened out their website so that it shows orders correctly?  I for one would feel better knowing that Avalon actually does have my orders lined up properly in their queue.  What I expect though is that they'll forget or miss shipping my orders because they weren't in their system. Seeing the website straightened out I'm sure would leave everyone in a happier place.

What is "48CONUS"?
I'm guessing it means the 48 Continental US States. Means no Alaska or Hawaii.

what is the diffrence in shipping as usps flat rate is the exact same cost as shipping to florida so it's kinda stupid to restrict free shipping to place where the shipping cost will be the exact same.;/

I usually ship FedEx as I have an account with them.  I had not even thought of shipping this via USPS.
I guess this would fit in a medium priority box. I think. If it fits in a medium priority box, I guess it shouldn't be a problem to ship to AK or HI. I guess that includes PR.
Contact me if you are interested and want it shipped to HI or AK pr PR and I'll confirm.

k 90% off people here ship usps and on ebay even when they ship usps so it bums me out when they go no ship..........
but if your shipping ups or fedex  then it ok.
before  i commeit i have get an estimate on my gnex repair but can you tie the price to a fiat currencey like dollars i'd pay in bitcoins but as there a large flux and as it's reaching it all time high so incase there was a short term crash.  also how would we do escrow? bitmit, trusted forum member?
,

Like OoC mentioned the BTC image self updates based on current btc price. I've got it set to $300USD and the image will update the current BTC value.
I have used Graet (ozcoin pool op) as a escrow several times for transactions.  I would recommend him without any hesitation.

What is "48CONUS"?

Also, is this the new 4G version, or the old 3G version?

Yes, crazyates is correct. No Alaska or Hawaii free shipping. If anyone from there wants it, I'll have to add the difference in shipping.
Uhm.. I think it's the 4G.  It says 4G on it.  See pic:

Any word on whether the java app will support stratum in the near future?  Or would I be better off just using a stratum proxy?
358  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] LocalBitcoins.com - a location-based bitcoin to cash marketplace on: February 27, 2013, 02:15:19 PM
I used to see a list of diverse online sellers before but now some seller r3365 has posted so many sell entries that I can only see his.  And it is impossible to get past them or ignore them to see anyone else's.

Can we have an ignore button for spammers?

+1

There's sellers that have inudated the site with ads.

Also, an expiration date for ads would be nice, along with an email a couple of days before asking you to renew the ad.  A simple link the in email to renew the ad is all that's needed. There's people that appear to not have updated their ads since last year.  People selling btc for $10.  Tried contacting and of course got no response.
359  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL: Chips have shipped, on their way to US on: February 27, 2013, 03:08:49 AM

Did kano ever claim that the light aircraft in the picture is the one in which he flew or is that just an assumption people made?

Yes. That's the plane that Josh and kano flew.

360  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAMMER: Cablepair (Tom) from BTCFPGA.com/bitcoinasic.net on: February 26, 2013, 11:27:59 PM
Thanks Tom. I'm guessing BitcoinASIC.com was liquidated and whoever bought it was behind the CAN-ELECTRIC scam? Would probably be good to clarify this for the benefit of the accusers here.

Wish you and your family the best.

People need to stop giving Tom excuses to use and let him explain himself to the community if he has any hope at all of returning to it.  I for one would like to hear the complete story of how bASIC failed.  We now hear for the first time, from the horse's mouth, that the chips as designed were failing.
