1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoins would you invest $ 1,000,000 in? on: January 02, 2022, 11:41:45 PM
But the situation is interesting, imagine that things are going well and at one point your deposit is $ 1,000,000.
If you have $1M, you should invest in Bitcoin, not altcoins.

Because it is a big capital and with a big capital you must invest into a coin which high trading volume. That will help you to enter and exit with a price you want.

With altcoins, if you enter or exit with $1M, you will force the price up or down too much. More terrible, altcoins are more risky than Bitcoin so if you invest into altcoins which already pumped 100 or 1000 times, your capital can be divided with 10, 100 or 1000 times again. So in worst situation, your $1M capital will become $1000, $10000 or $100,000 in the end. Nightmare

true. I wouldnt trust any coin except bitcoin with that kind of money
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT art with burning of originals post sale on: December 25, 2021, 01:35:59 AM
What? Am I getting this wrong or did I read it right? You are making an artwork, a painting, and then create an NFT from it and then upon purchase of the NFT, you will burn the physical painting? Is this what you intend to do?

If this is what you will do, I really disagree with it. Personally, I give more value to the physical painting than the token you are creating from it. That token is nothing compared to the details and the beauty that the physical painting possesses.

You can burn all tokens but never real paintings.

Agreed. I would rather have a nice physical painting than some NFT  Cool

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GalleonCoin GALE PoW with Masternodes on: December 10, 2021, 01:25:39 AM
The developers of the GalleonCoin coin have made a pre-mine of 1,000,000,000. GALE, most of the coins are concentrated in the same hands mainly on the wallet 16RhwAmcshhVgNduxLFHN3xixaMyDSzCd3
THE DEVELOPERS THEMSELVES WRITE THAT THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF COINS WILL BE 6,000,000,000 GALE

This has become more common lately. Developers involved in masternode usually clone popular masternode coins such as Dash or PIVX.
Once their goal is complete, that is, once they have sold enough nodes, they simply abandon the project.
