You have many rigs so maybe you could try a test rig, write down your current linux hash rate, then install windows and test RigMaster, give it few days to reach stable state, then compare the hash rate. I don't have linux so I don't know, I like to use windows only, that's why I have to develop this App to support windows coz all the mining solution and support utilities for windows seem not good enough.

Thank you very much for your comment, form that I understand common view point and think I need to explain more to the community.

Yes, it is very easy to overclock Nvidia GPUs by Afterburn or dozen of other card vendor's utilities but:

- You can easily to overclock the card but tough to optimize it, either you have to sacrifice performance for stability or your system risk running with error, hang & reboot.
- It takes huge time to find a sweet spot for your system where the rig runs smoothly at maximum possible performance.
- Do it for 1 or 2 cards is easy, but 8 cards or 13 cards is a pain!
- All utilities are developed for gamers in mind, they targeted strong machine with few cards, it consumes a lot of CPU usage, it will hurt the mining performance on weak CPU those serves multiple cards
- A lot of other mining characteristic you cannot monitoring, such as, rejects counting, hash dropping... which may cause mining less efficiency.
- Without optimization, without developing for mining purpose in mind, you easily waste up to 5% of your full performance.

And what this app does:

- I developed it for mining purpose, it consumes very little system resource, CPU usage, unleash the system power to serve GPUs load.
- I know where Afterburn (or similar overclock software) cause bottle neck and make low end CPU system to drop performance and avoid that way of programming.
- It automatically finds a sweat spot for every card and make your 8 or 13 GPUs rig running stably at highest possible performance
- It detects high reject situation, hash dropping and adjust, reset, reboot... do whatever it needs to eliminate these issues.

At beginning, I don't care too much about the flag because I thought that for a pure mining rig, just for mining, there is no information to steal at all, what a virus can harm that machine? The best it can do is to change the wallet address to virus's address! But if for that purpose, my app can do easily without needing to write a virus! But if I change the address, with a bit monitoring on pool, user will know right away.

So, now I understand more, you guys may think that this app is targeted to run on home gamming & mining machine, you play game meanwhile mine at free time, there is sensitive information on that machine and need to be aware a lot about virus!

No, this app is not target to 1 or 2 cards machine, off course whatever number of card doesn't matter, but this app is developed purely for proper mining rigs, and with its help, you can setup 10 or 1000 machines very easily with high efficiency because everything is automation.

Efficiency is extremely important, 5% of performance is huge amount of money if you have 10 rigs 8 cards running a year long.

I care about that flag but not taken it very seriously because only one of AV reported, it could be a false positive. Anyway, it causes by software protection, there are dozen of switches, I tried to find which option causes that flag by turn off option by option, but result is when this AV say safe, another AV say unsafe and there is no way for all AV say safe at all, I have tried some other software protection but so far, there is no any of those (that I tried) can please all AV software.

Point is, we all know how these AV software work, they compare the code to their sample codes of virus, unfortunately if one of their sample code was extracted form a virus that uses the same software protection like me, then that piece of code will be flagged, that is how the AV guys do. Since that, only one of AV flagged make me not being alerted too much at beginning.

If the forum rule is I have report flagged software even just by one Antivirus, then I'm sorry that I don't know that, since it's my first time posting here.

I used Claymore, Phoenix miner for many years and found that those software are flagged a lot more than mine, but millions of people still use w/o complain so I just thought that one or two flags are completely normal in this industry.

I aware of that Total Virus report before posting here, but I like how is life, you cannot please everyone in this world. As long as all big and high reputation Antivirus like Bit Defender, Kaspersky, Avira.. and dozen of smaller names say safe, then it's enough to rely on. Unfortunately, sometime you cannot avoid a hater like what you do to me or an unknown tiny Antivirus app, that's very normal. I also cannot know what piece of code make that App hated, sorry.

Then you try on a clean rig w/o any information and see how it works before show your  attitude. I have nothing to comment arround here until i deciced to release my App, that’s why I am newbie, that’s simple.

1. What the App does:

In Windows environment, usually setting GPU Nvidia memory clock to a stable condition with optimal clock level (as highest as possible) is quite tough, either clock is not reach maximum possibility or the rig may not be stable to run for a long time without crash or error, it's usually a time consumed process. Furthermore, even when an user has reached a balance between stable working and performance, but too much reject/invalid shares also count to a final mining award. So this lightweight App will help you:

- Monitoring Miner
- Auto fix and optimize GPU memory clock for every individual GPU in a rig
- Control GPU fan, monitor overheat situation
- Monitoring if Hash rate drop
- Monitoring and fix memory clock if Reject/Invalid share is too much
- Work in tandem with Server module for reporting and remote interactive in future development


2. Requirement and support

- Windows 10 64 Bits (Win7, Win11 not test)
- You need to install Net frame work 4.6 to use this App.
- This App only work with Phoenix Miner and Nvidia GPU

- Auto Start Miner:
App will monitor if miner not running or crash then will start miner and/or fix memory clock if error happens.

- Set Power and Clock (Mhz):
Set Power, GPU and memory clock after Miner reach stable mining condition (delayed overclock).

- Min Mem clock, decrement step:
When error happens, App will detect the error GPU and decrease the memory clock until system stabled.

- Overheat:
Shutdown the rig to prevent overheat, useful if your central exhausted system stops working

- RTX fan curve (exponential):
RTX card usually run quite hot, especially the memory, so GPU fan speed use exponential curve to increase fan RPM if GPU temperature is too high.

- Error time frame:
An error is consider true memory error within a given time frame (hours), if out of time frame, app will not decrease memory clock.

- Reboot after fix:
You should let the system reboot after a fix for safer result, but if your system is high quality (good mainboard, GPU...), a reboot may not necessary and it will be faster to resume mining.

- Email:
Please give a valid email for future support (when web management module is developed)

- Password:
Please give a valid password for future support (when web management module is developed)

- Miner folder:
Select your Phoenix folder

- Run Bat file:
Select your miner .bat file here if you prefer to use .bat file to start mining.

- Monitor Hash Rate:
If hash rate drop to a given level, system will reboot.

- Monitor Reject:
If Reject/Invalid share of a GPU reach a given percentage, memory clock will be fix for that GPU.

- Remove old Log files:
You should enable this unless you want to keep log files for error checking.

- Wifi profile:
If your rig use Wifi connection, set it to your home Wifi hotspot may increase connecting speed at windows log on

- Ping Test:
A valid external internet address to check if internet is connected

- Server Mode enable:
You must enable this in order for the app to work, disable is just for coding testing purpose.

- Alt Server, Server Port:
Backup alternate server and port, you don’t need to set this unless I move server to another address.


4. Setting miner config:

- Do not let the miner control fan and monitor GPU temperature, this app will do it
- Check sample miner config file for how to config.
- Change Wallet, RigName and YourEmailAddress to yours.


5. Important notes:

- Client/Server environment requires you to set your system clock to correct time, you should use Windows Adjust date/time, Sync now to sync your system with time server


6. How to use App:

- For setting Power limit and GPU core clock, you should now your GPU optimal level, so set them by yourself. In my experience, 1060 GPU is a bit slow, so I prefer to set Core clock to 200 Mhz, other faster card just leave it zero.

- For memory clock, set it to a high level of your card memory, Click Apply to test if mining is still ok (not hang or crash), then leave it there, App will auto fix if there is error happens.

- Save: upload setting to server if you wish, if you don’t, app will auto upload after fixing error.

- Find Gpu: Turn on finding mode, then click on a GPU to maximized it's fan RPM, then you could find a specific card, click Find Gpu again to stop finding mode.

- To get your link to web report module, open About form and copy your link.


7. Donation:

- I develop this app firstly for my personal use, so the server, internet line... is quite weak, I don't know if it could serve hundred or thousand rigs or not, so currently, I just open it for first 100 users and 200 rigs to test the performance, I will open more if the system can serve more.
