I agree all of tokens are created in a second and yield farming etc is just gaming. But I do think it's meaningful if some projects implement new ideas like UBI; ERC-20 can be a perfect test field, and this kind of experiments may eventually turn into some real project.
Yes, but the problem now is that not many teams are willing to do trials so that the project can be truly perfect and can be born in a real form, I see the average project team who currently only takes advantage of the opportunity in a very short time to create a project, after that everything was neglected. How about these two? Pi Network: https://minepi.com/Idena: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5194871.0They're fun to explore, and may worth to pursue in next year. I will have it on my checklist.

Heard about UBI from time to time. Somehow got interested today again and google searched "DeFi UBI" that turned out something like this: DeFi Meets Universal Basic Income With Just-Launched Project From eToro. ... Called GoodDollar, the project will create and issue a stablecoin ($G) that can be distributed daily to registered users as a form of universal basic income (UBI). Interesting... and little delve into GoodDollar that sounds like an ERC-20 token, not quite sure though. Question: Does anyone know of any project focusing on UBI? Any good project for passive income harvest / investment? Already started to claim GoodDollar coins but not sure where to spend. Maybe better a tradable token on Uniswap will be interesting. A coin that is worth nothing and that also nobody knows its architecture? Not bad to claim them! But never invest in these strange projects ... I agree all of tokens are created in a second and yield farming etc is just gaming. But I do think it's meaningful if some projects implement new ideas like UBI; ERC-20 can be a perfect test field, and this kind of experiments may eventually turn into some real project.

I'm also claiming GoodDollar coins, it doesn't take much effort anyway and it might have value in future, who knows? I'm not sure if it's ethereum token tho, I can't find any link between the two tbh and regarding trading you can click on 'Good Market' and trade GS$ for some services, there is no 'real trading' value yet.
It is an ERC-token as mentioned in their whitepaper: GoodDollar will operate on Ethereum using smart contracts that are written in Solidity with G$ designated as an ERC20 token. As a means to an end, transactions using G$ are run on an Ethereum sidechain, Fuse, which enables low-cost, high-volume transactions. As we anticipate that the scalability and efficiency of blockchain infrastructure will continuously improve, the protocol is designed to be dynamic, flexible, and adaptable to evolve with market developments. Receiving G$ daily is exciting :-), and trading into services actually a good starting point. I do like to see a project dedicating UBI and trading on regular exchange would be interesting. UBI would be a thing IMO.

It seems the blockchain of Levitate (LVT) is currently stuck and the guys of the team who maintained the blockchain, have abandoned ship. I am very sorry about that and have no solution for it at this moment. Thank you for your support so far and best wishes for 2020, hopefully it will be a better cryptoyear for all.
Hi Digithusiast, Unfortunately I was away for a few months. I'm still a supporter of LVT and would like provide some help to the chain, see PM.
|
|
|
@Digithusiast I got confusion here. I did swap in March/April, but today I opened wallet, not syncing (last day of transaction is Aug. 27); was the August swap the second time switching to new chain?
|
|
|
I agree exchanges are for fee, will try to look for any possible ones for LVT. In the meantime, developing exchange standalone is a good option.
|
|
|
To all who had LVT on the exchange altmarkets.io : please contact the exchange through their support ticket system to ask your LVT back. We can not help you with that and we do not know why they delisted old LVT. First we paid them to list old LVT, and second we paid them to list new LVT as LVTN. LVTN has never been listed and for unknown reasons the exchange delisted old LVT. The old LVT blockchain is still running OK and has been running OK all the time, so it is unclear why the exchange delisted old LVT and made the LVT in their user accounts unavailable.
We'd pass altmarkets.io and look for a new one.

Rebranding WOW great! But what about my coins on CREX24? This is the answer from crex24. Dev tam asked to block wallets and delist coin. I have there a lot of this shit and i would like to withdraw my money! And of course Crex24 didnt informed clients about this fact. And Dev Team also. This is cheating gusy. You want trust and you are doing things like this? Whats wrong with you? "Hello, Devs asked us to close the withdrawal and deposits. Currently are technical maintenances with this coin. But you can stay turned of the latest news about this coin here: https://twitter.com/Crex_24" Anyone have any info whats now? This is ridiculous! Many people asking and a lot of them still have coins on crex24 trade. :/:/:/ Obviously someone from the old team asked for delist if crex24 declare there was "a dev" who asked for this; I agree this doesn't make sense since the chain is going well right now. Anyways I'll send them a message. Also started another thread since the owner of this thread don't care about it anymore. Let's go there to talk: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5160228Discord: https://discord.gg/8atN2a2

~ A New Begining ~ The Coin 2 is project who dates since 2014 and it was designed as
"a 'Gaming Coin' and it was intended in the use of Coin2's original games being developed right there"
as the early developers stated in the first announcement thread.
Unfortunately the lead dev is not among us anymore and along with this event the dust settled on this ambitious project.
To not be forgotten and the hard work previously devs put into this, be in vain, we have decided to give this project a new life,
so now we are taking some baby steps right now but some of the new ideas will involve:
- Re-branding of C2
- Updating Ann Thread
- Gathering a new core team
- New Website
- Many other things
Coin 2 Ticker - C2
Circulating supply - 133.4 M
Consensus - POS Only
Block Time - 60 sec
Retarget - Every Block
Min Stake Age - 8h
Current interest - 5%

Why is XZC going up while ZEN is lagging behind? Please do not tell me it is because XZC is a better coin because that is not true ( ZEN is supported right now on the Bakkt platform whilc XZC right now is not ). Please give me details about why XZC is rising while ZEN is languishing in price. Thank you. Give me some great insight if you can.
Also, how are the coins similar and how are they different? Are they both forks of the same mother coin?
Not sure why you keep asking at both ops, but not doing researching. Are they both forks of the same mother coin?

Zcoin comes with original innovations, while ZEN is a fork of the fork of ZEC.

The Block Explorer is currently resyncing.
We are active with two Levitate projects. Both require time and both are not yet in the green zone. Once the projects have a safe and solid foundation, we will elaborate.
Can you tell rough idea about these projects?
|
|
|
Levitate (LVT) is one of the approximately 5,000+ Cryptocoins around at this time. It is up to you yourself to decide which of those are terrible, bad, better or best. Levitate is not pretending to be unique or better. However, the team behind it is honest and reliable. If you find that important, Levitate (LVT) might be a coin for you to support.
I look into the future here that will be option to existings. Strong support from a team behind a coin is one of the top factors.
|
|
|
Looks like still there are some people interested to this coin.
|
|
|
Volume is a result of buying and selling. The more people start buying and selling LVT at https://altmarkets.io/trading/lvtbtc , the more it will stick out from the herd, and the more likely other people will buy some LVT to hold and speculate. If all Levitate supporters would start buying and selling small amounts of LVT, the market becomes active. If everyone remains passive, the LVT market remains just as passive. We'll need to create some energies.

It has proven rebanding is not happening, and dev of this thread failed to do any progress except let the coin dying. Currently Coin2 is not on any exchanges and I would like to keep it going, at least create a smooth wallet and get us to working exchange as well. Anyone interested to this new dev, head to: https://discord.gg/8atN2a2. There will be a new thread too.

Soon Levitate (LVT) will be listed on Altmarkets.io The Levitate Team will not pay high fees to get listed on exchanges. Tradesatoshi charges high fees eventhough it isn't a top exchange.
I agree nowadays all exchanges charges fee except for new ones.

A lot of PoS coins have forked like this, multiple times (colx, hbn, and many others). I never have red any explanation why this happens, and how to solve it. I cannot believe these numerous forks are attacks alone, there are heavy deficiencies of this implementation. Such coins are useless.
On some PoS coins I never have seen this, decred for example.
dont use this property to promote other coins please I don't see he is promoting dead coins, instead he was just saying your coin is forked because a known issue, "known" LOL. if dev is unknow of this, that's a pity!
