341  Economy / Economics / Re: world war 3 is coming ...do to coronavirus / economy ... on: June 20, 2020, 02:09:53 PM
Logical Reason why ww3 is coming : People going to be hungry very very soon (famine) ... if you ever been hungry you will understand
No country is recording any case of famine due to the pandemic, people may have lost their jobs, and the economy in a bad shape but there's no famine threatening the lives of people, even in the underdeveloped of countries. The virus has lasted only for about five months or so, and even if an entire country is locked down, five months is short for a famine to surface.
To feed the people govs need resources, how do you get resources ? You find a excuse to attack your rich neighbor or another country rich in resources
Or you try to destroy your competition ( Example: China - India
A war comes with destruction, annihilation, and even the famine you talk about, that exactly was the case in 1914 and 1945. It can't be a means of generating funds/resources to boost the economy and feed the nation. Government will open more businesses, create more opportunities, give out stimulus/loans etc to get more resources to start up the economy, but attacking another country is not an option, and it cannot have any positive outcome if not causing more mayhem for the two countries.

wait for it... this things come with a delay ...

LMAO, if we go with your argument, then after the Spanish Flu, we should expect a war? But it didn't happen so your logic is flaw in the beginning. Probably this is just another conspiracies against, don't watch Youtube videos and believed them right away, used your common sense. I would agree that we may be entering a looming financial crisis because of the pandemic, but WWIII? There are so many wars in the Middle East already and it didn't cause a world war because government are not that stupid to create a global tension.

Have you heard of Hitler ? WW2 started after the Spanish Flu
343  Economy / Economics / Re: world war 3 is coming ...do to coronavirus / economy ... on: June 20, 2020, 01:58:37 PM

Every now and then someone shows up here and predicts World War III, but World War is not a game that starts because someone wakes up in the morning and wants to play Call of Duty. As stupid as politicians are, they know that such a war would actually mean the complete destruction of the human race, given the weapons we have today. Consequently, you need to understand that it is not in anyone's interest to make war, because that would be a conflict without a winner.

You can win a nuclear war

Efficient strategy :

Step 1 Gather Intel on Enemy
Step 2 Find out how has the launch codes & capability to issue the order for nuclear strikes
Step 3 Find out how will "push the buttons" to launch nukes
Step 4 Issue order for attack when your enemy is weak
Step 5 Simultaneous stealth attack: Divers will attack/sabotage anything that moves under and on the sea / Paratroopers/Assassins/Special Forces will attack the "Order Givers" ,they will also cut of communications and attack ground targets and anything that can fly
Step 6 Occupation and Psychological Warfare
Step 7 Population Assimilation or Population Annihilation
Step 8 Mission Accomplished New Territory Gained

Is that all? Even if the situation gets 10x worse than the current situation, there won't be any sort of war which is why your statements sound silly in my opinion.

Governments aren't stupid to simply declare war on each other when they know that would make things far worse than they already are. Why do you think there hasn't been a war since decades?

It's because human beings evolved and became smarter and understood that wars are costly and harmful in the long term. This is the reality that we live in currently and it is better this way for everyone worldwide.

I advise you to stop making such statements in such perilious times.

What is the purpose of doing this?

The point was to see if it is possible to send  information in the past ( time travel )

Either it is not possible or it will not be invented in our lifetimes or not allowed

350  Economy / Economics / Very strange most people like to buy with bitcoin , but using altcoins very few on: June 17, 2020, 07:05:30 PM
Very strange thing i noticed: most people like to buy with bitcoin , but using altcoins very few

I think all clients i had from bitcointalk prefer to use bitcoin to buy services / products they needed ...

Not a single client that i had until now used altcoins like ethereum ,litecoin etc or tokens like usdt, usdc ....

Why do you think people don't like to use altcoins to buy things on the internet ?

351  Economy / Economics / Re: The stock market prices are fake ..hyperinflation is coming soon on: June 16, 2020, 02:29:05 PM
Hyperinflation just wouldn't make sense imo. We could see a month where the current printing reflects on inflation but it should only be up for. A month or two (I think the UK has managed to hit 17% inflation before over the year) we're currently at 0.9%... The US are probably close to the 1% too as apposed to 1.7%.

When money comes out of a market it has to go somewhere, I doubt market movements of a few % are really any form of illegal manipulation. They're just a drop and a rise.

From Feb 20 up to March 20 people selling like crazy
March 20 Dow Jones was at 18577 now ,from March 21 to June 08 somebody was buying like crazy ... how has the power to buy like that? ask yourself ...Tip : first 3 letters Gov
352  Economy / Economics / The stock market prices are fake ..hyperinflation is coming soon on: June 16, 2020, 02:05:09 PM
If we look at the dow jones index
https://tradingeconomics.com/united-states/stock-market

You will see that from june 5 to june 11 it went down from around 27000 to 25000 ,now it went up to around 26500...somebody is injecting a lot of money in the stock markets around the world ...
The printing machines are working non stop ... i think we will go in to hyperinflation very soon ...
353  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin worth so much ? on: June 16, 2020, 12:10:57 PM
Because btc was first. Its like question why apple devices cost so much. Status, brand, fanbase, etc

Quality is one of the best characteristics of bitcoin among other cryptocurrencies. It is faster and efficient to use in many transactions that's why many investors are risking their money because bitcoin is worth to invest. Since 2009, there are people who already trusted bitcoin as a digital currency even though it is not that popular enough to help it grow. That's what you need to know about bitcoin, you need to trust it because there is something more about its worth. Bitcoin will probably grow more in the near future because of the development in its mass adoption, many people are interested in knowing the worth of bitcoin in the market.

Bitcoin value is not do to technical reasons ... there are coins out there that have better technical ...

355  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin worth so much ? on: June 14, 2020, 03:23:56 PM
Since you've pointed out some "issues" with BTC, I'll give you some points as well:
-the first cryptocurrency
-the most well known cryptocurrency
-the most trusted one
-the most accepted one (highest market penetration)
-decentralized
-altcoins follow its price, so they depend on it

Enough?

ah the old liquidity and trust... but still there are other stuff in this world that share the same pro's but they are not this valuable

Gold is liquid it's money and commodity  but is worth less then bitcoin ...

How in the world btc became so valuable what was the spark ... ?
356  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin worth so much ? on: June 14, 2020, 02:00:15 PM

Banks can track you, track your transactions and identity. You have limits on your transaction.

In case of crypto that is reverse and more confidential. May be that evens it out.

I mined with my pc around 50 btc when bitcoin was worth nothing ... i sold them for around 0.2 cents / btc ...people wouldn't even want to buy them back then ...so what increased btc value so much ... makes no sense ...
357  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin worth so much ? on: June 14, 2020, 11:02:17 AM
Ethereum has virtually unlimited supply while BTC is capped to 21 million coins.
...Moreover, you get value because investors keep buying it.

But if you have 1000 usd and you want to transfer it to another person i don't get it how bitcoin can help me ...

Example i want to send money to a person B in another country

I Person A have 1000 usd
To exchange it it cost me around 5% - 8%
Now i have   920 usd in btc form ...do to fact bitcoin is so volatile i could lose another 50 usd in 10 minutes or gain 50 usd ...just speculation
I send it to person B  a small transaction fee is taken
Now person B has to exchange it to Fiat he got to pay trader / exchange platform another 5%-8%
After exchange person B has left around 846.4 usd

That's a 15.36 % loss just from exchange cost
More expensive the WU,direct bank transfer, paypal etc ...

358  Economy / Economics / Why is bitcoin worth so much ? on: June 14, 2020, 08:19:53 AM
Why is bitcoin worth so much ?

Bitcoin price $9,442.51 coinmarketcap
Ethereum   $236.39    coinmarketcap

1.Btc transaction fees are high
2.Btc takes like 10 minutes - 1 hour to confirm
3.It has no smart contracts support
4.No tokens support
Etc etc ...

Where does the value of bitcoin come from ? I don't understand the logic behind the valuation ...

-----------------------------------------------------------
Here is another thing i found :

Even when the last bitcoin has been produced, miners will likely continue to actively and competitively participate and validate new transactions. The reason is that every bitcoin transaction has a small transaction fee attached to it. These fees, while today representing a few hundred dollars per block, could potentially rise to many thousands of dollars or more per block as the number of transactions on the blockchain grows and as the price of a bitcoin rises. Ultimately, it will function like a closed economy where transaction fees are assessed much like taxes

359  Economy / Economics / Re: What can you buy with 0.01 cents (1 penny) ? on: June 14, 2020, 08:04:31 AM
Quote
We could make money with pennies ... we would need someone that we can trust to manage the pennies for us

For example nobody can deposit in a bank 0.01 cents and get interest ,or you can't buy a stock ,btc or other cryptos with 1 penny

But imagine if 1000000 people join together in a pool and each user has to deposit 1 penny each month for 30 years ,if he does not deposit he will loses his pennies /investment

And after 500 years his grate grate grandson or granddaughter is allowed to withdraw if he has the secret code you gave your son / daughter etc ,if no one claims the money it will be distributed among others investors grate grate grand children or how ever you decide that you want to get that money ...You will make them rich beyond their wildest dreams ...with compound interest and just some pennies

Damn, this is the most ridiculous financial idea I've ever seen. Grin
How the hell can you convince 1 million people to join this "pool" and consistently pay 1 cent for 30 years?
99,99% of the people wouldn't even bother to join such "project",because it's a waste of time, not money.
People want a return of investment to come as soon as possible.Nobody would invest money and expect a return after more than 20 years.
Pennies aren't created for buying stuff. They are created for receiving change, after you buy something. Grin

it's just an idea ,here is another one ...we are brainstorming
-----------------------------
Let's say 1000000 people join in a pool and they deposit 1 penny / week each year for 10 years
The fund manager does one thing only: he buys physical gold, and stores it in a safe place, and gives gold to people after 10 years
Let's say gold price increases by 7% each year
Year 1
576000 usd / 55.62 usd / g 24k = 10355.98 g of 24k Gold
Year 2
576000 usd / 59.52 usd / g 24k = 9677.41 g of 24k Gold
Year 3
576000 usd / 63.68 usd / g 24k = 9045.22 g of 24k Gold
Year 4
576000 usd / 68.13 usd / g 24k = 8454.42 g of 24k Gold
Year 5
576000 usd / 72.89 usd / g 24k = 7902.31 g of 24k Gold
Year 6
576000 usd / 77.99 usd / g 24k = 7385.56 g of 24k Gold
Year 7
576000 usd / 83.44 usd / g 24k = 6903.16 g of 24k Gold
Year 8
576000 usd / 89.28 usd / g 24k = 6451.61 g of 24k Gold
Year 9
576000 usd / 95.52 usd / g 24k = 6030.15 g of 24k Gold
Year 10
576000 usd / 102.20 usd / g 24k = 5636 g of 24k Gold

Total gold in 10 years = 77841.82 g of 24k Gold (77.84182 kg)

That means at the end each person has 0.07784182 g 24k Gold

In year 11 price is 109.354 usd /g of 24k Gold that means you get 8.51 USD(without managing fees) on your investment of 4.8 usd
