It does not look good...
EDIT: yep I can confirm I could withdraw BTC at least. phew, it might be all fud
Can you kindly confirm again: 1) you’ve successfully withdrawn BTC from Cryptopia? 2) when? 3) how long it took? I have big sum of different coins stuck there. But I have no problem liquidating all to BTC to exit this exchange once and for all. Thank you in advance. Hi, BTC withdrawal was instant, yesterday and today. (I converted to btc because both ZCLassic and Dash did not work) Zclassic took over a day, but it eventually came this night Dash is still pending.

I would invest everything in real estate such as at least 2 or 3 apartments with 2-4 bedrooms in a good area in my hometown. Then rent them out preferably to a family or older couple that will live there for a long time. A small percent of that rent would go to a savings account thats preserved for future repairs/restoration, aiming for a bigger repair every ten years. Then I would take whatever I need to live off of and whatever is left over would go to into new mining rigs when the price of gpus drop. Edit: While searching for tenants I could use them as mining locations

Building a rig it's not big deal. I believe you can find a person who are ready to help you offline.
The biggest issue is the GPU prices rally and increased ROI time for 8-9 months.
Yes its hard to justify buying gpus at these prices now...

Even speaking about it is a good enough sign. Clever miners are already making arrangements elsewhere.
I heard that in Africa minig power is very fast growing now In Africa of all places?

No, plugging in extra molex from psu actually helps motherboard give auxiliary power to graphics cards, because it can't supply everything itself.

I'm also very interested in that case, is it standard 19" ?

I am currently using This website and so far am very happy. It supports mining of: - Zcash
- Bitcoin Gold
- Ethereum
- Ethereum Classic
- Bitcoin
- Litecoin
- Bytecoin
- Monero
- DigitalNote
- Aeon coin
- FantomCoin
- QuazarCoin
- MonetaVerde
- Dashcoin
- Infinium-8
minergate is a semi-scam, at the minimum they are stealing some of your hashrate. I would stay away. For beginners and those who have 1-2 GPU, best options: 1) minergate2) micromining3) kryptexOf course if You have 6 or more GPU, then you need a more serious pool! I'm not sure about minergate, I just found this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2728812.0

Worst fans I ever had was VTX3D 280x, both of them rattled out of the box and where extremely noisy and did not cool good. Had to replace them immediately to Arctic Accelero Xtreme gpu cooler, that thing is really good but huge and expensive. My sapphire Dual-X 7950 still works like a charm after 2 years of mining. I retired it from mining though.

Just dont, you'll burn that poor thing up

Ahh... just checked in on my favorite coin, the drama never ends in cryptoland, this gonna be good

Well, I use linux for everything except my mining rigs Biggest reason was I tweaked a lot and undervolt and underclock to get most energy efficient settings and that was easy to get into on windows, when I found best config I saw no reason to flash cards and install linux, I just kept mining as is because why change when it works, well, most of the time works

Dev acting too friendly and convincing people this is the next big thing. Thats unfortunately way too common

Might be an addressing limitation, though I'm still inclined to think it's just ASUS doing wierd stuff with their bios or perhaps trying to push their P106 cards (there aren't a lot of folks that MAKE the "mining specific" cards).
I Believe so too, one would think there would be an updated bios ready by now.

Why is it too late ? And you recommend him to buy coins now when this shit is happening with ETC and ETH ? Anyway if you have money invest, but even if ethereum fail (both chains) which is highly unlikely there will always be another coin to mine with gpu, and you can just sell them afterwards...
You noobs are slow but let me try to explain. When ETH goes POS no coin can absorb the hashrate. There will be no other coin to mine for profit. Noobs lose again. In short term yes. It's more of a patient waiting game right now lol. I guess in 6+ months we have something profitable again. By profitable I guess just above electricity costs like it is now. I wont buy more cards now althoug I could fit two more in my rigs, not worth the risk. Anyway just my two cents. Also I see a lot of people selling 7950's and older cards due to getting a bit dated.

ETH will go PoS, and then it'll be only the rich deciding things anyways.
word. I dont get the pos shit, sure it solves the insane energy requirements but at what cost? Back to the top 1% running the world?

There are roughly 150'000 Gpu's mining ethereum at the moment.
If the hash rate increases like it did not in the past, in 4 months, there will be 600,000 GPUs to do the hashing. At the current rate of rise, in 4 months, most miners will be not profitable. So most of them are confident the price will rise. same old, same old... The litecoin boom (and bitcoin obviously) followed the same pattern, people notice it is still profitable to mine, lots of people join, profit naturally drops. Only thing I see is different now is that profits where a lot higher then and dropped faster, now profitable mining lasted surprisingly long but profit was a lot lower also. Tells me something about what will come in the next wave, a year or two from now, less profit, less fluctuation. Any thoughts? Am I perhaps way out there in my prediction?

Did find this interesting item - out of stock! But, still, here they are: http://asicminermarket.com/?product=am440-eth-minerMain advantage on this offering is electricity works out to be 40% lower than running 14 R9 390's. However, at this price you'd rather stick with GPU's! Seems legit. Oh yeees! Thats the shit haha Not even a real picture of it but I honestly believe that is a sincere company, what could go wrong? I'll immediately order 5 of them

yes, less power means also less heat. I wonder what speeds it will hit though, the miner needs to be modified to take advantage of new instructions too
