1  Economy / Gambling / Re: DiceBitco.in | BE THE BANK ! | 1% House Edge | 7500+ BTC BANKROLL | INSTANT! on: September 08, 2014, 05:46:49 AM
I lost 2.6 btc and cannot verify the bets. With such lax security how do we know this didn't go further back?

Most of my losing bets from the 21st of August are missing from my bet history.

Edit, the first two losses on the 21st are there. After that the history skips to the 27th and the nonce goes to zero. If you look at my profit/losses the numbers do not add up at all with the bet history. Why would a bunch of bets go missing from my history when I lost the 2.6 bit coins?

If you can't verify these missing bets I would like my 2.6 coins back. 2.6 might not be a lot to most people but it is to me.

I do it simply to help the network. It doesn't seem to use a lot of resources on my computer.

I do read. I should be a full member any time now.

U r at least 2 weeks away from being a full member.

Really? In that case I suppose I will have to wait. I need to figure out how this ranking system works. Thanks.

Following 2 threads might help u to understand ranking system & activity of BitcoinTalk...

i. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.0

ii. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=495948.0

That does help. I read a lot more than I post. I don't want to spam the forums just to get a higher activity for signature campaigns so I will just stick with a lower paying one for now. Thanks for the info.

I kind of wondered about that issue myself. That is why I won't play online poker. All you need is skype to collude and basic math can help you quite a bit if you know what is in an extra hand.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10 Reason Why Bitcoin is better than Paypal on: August 29, 2014, 07:50:40 PM
Paypal is a company trying to squeeze as much money out of their customers as possible. Bit coin has no agenda or desire at all. A neutral payment system is by nature vastly superior.

Okay I am wasting way too much time playing with faucet funds today. If I can control my urges to use the max button I might actually win something.  Grin

Signed. I hope common sense prevails in this but when it comes to regulators it almost never does.
13  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Coin-Profiters - BEST Bitcoin Investors Around - Great Rates on: August 27, 2014, 03:47:54 AM
Are you guys willing to set up an escrow account in order to provide some protection?

I know that makes it harder to trade obviously but it is a good way to earn some trust early on. People have been burned A LOT by businesses like yours. You don't deserve to suffer from the shady business dealings of others but it kind of comes with the territory.

Here's a better screenshot, posted by jebbster himself:

DAMN, is that for real ??
I can't believe it !!!

Yeah it's real. Killing my investment profit.  Shocked

Ah well. Just have to trust the math.

Yea, that chick needs to drop about 20 pounds..
That's mean.  Show some respect.

Agreed. Why do we want women that look like 10 year old boys? Show me the curves.
16  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Electronic Cigarettes on: August 25, 2014, 05:15:38 PM
Electronic Cigarettes? Does it feel like the real one? Shocked
how is it possible if we take puffs of this electronic cigarette it will not create cancer in our lungs Tongue because have no tar and tobacco in it and no cough while smoke it . then how it feels like the real one .

I thought I read somewhere that a guy got cancer from one. But I think he was smoking it all the time.

I'm highly doubting that, the two main ingredients to ecig juice.. 1 is a major food additive, and used in hospital air vents to sterilize the air, and the other is the mist you see come out of asthma inhalers. And of course nicotine if you chose so.
That being said I'm highly doubting someone got cancer in the two year window where anyone even knows what an ecig is.

Yeah this might be the e-cig version of FUD. People smoke paper cigarettes for decades sometimes before they get cancer. Some never do.

If you need to quit smoking it is a great alternative.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin make me wealthy? What is money? on: August 24, 2014, 10:45:00 PM
Bitcoin will grow in value. Depending on how much Bitcoin you own, you'll become wealthy. It's a new currency, so it'll take time to establish itself, but once it does, it'll be the one-world currency.

I doubt any currency will ever be a one world currency but it has the potential to be a widespread currency and possibly even a reserve currency.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will that be debit, credit or Bitcoin? on: August 24, 2014, 10:43:37 PM
Off chain transactions will be the fastest way to get mass adoption. Of course that also requires trust so it will take time. I personally would love to pay for my coffee with bitcoin.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paypal gave me an audit for buying a domain with the name bitcoin in it on: August 22, 2014, 01:22:57 PM
I have had issues with paypal myself. In my opinion the convenience isn't worth the trouble.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 2.0 ~ The Stock Market of Tomorrow on: August 22, 2014, 02:01:13 AM
this is a gr8 idea

i don't see why you need to touch the bitcoin protocol tho, all you need is to use it.

make a system where anyone can create their own permine, fixed supply, coins ( shares ), and make it possible to trade these shares for BTC in a decentralized trustless manner, you do not need anyones permission to use the blockchain, you do not need anyone permission to innovate.

If you had the skills you could make some money designing specialty coins for this purpose. It would also democratize investing a lot more.
