Lol. How many times do I have to tell you it wasn't me? He was a professional, a brilliant wordsmith, and a sociopath. I'm none of those things. ... precisely what NLC would say ... i'm just doing the math. One of us here is NLC, it's like the hunt for satoshi, it will never end When you first turned up here, it was always a few posts after NLC, often to be the 'reasonable' alter-ego, though not always just commenting on him. We watched the construction of today's hero. You both have a very similar widely-read set of references. You both have witty photoshopping skillz - viz money bear just a few posts up. You're too proud of your NLC success (for yes, it was) and can't help the slightest knowing winks (see above). But, hey, it's not the first time in a canoe for any of us and we're making more money than we can spend. Who's to say it was a success? Do you think anyone actually sold any coins on account of geezer porn?

I give up. For what it is worth, I don't think you are NLC at all . I humoured him. He had a literary flair at times. The geezer porn was too much. I didn't approve of the geezer porn. FWIW. Now, which one of you is R0ach? We all know he can't be real.

I couldn't think of a better place to post this and I think it's fitting here. I just sold my stash of 6 years at $2,200. I just couldn't stand to wait any longer and I'm not greedy. Bitcoin definitely made me rich (not really rich elite but rich enough for me). Everything I own is paid off (houses, cars, Horizon 350 Four Winns boat - everything). I have everything I want and more. Hookers and beer for the rest of my life. I hope bitcoin goes to a million dollars each and all of you get everything you want. I won't be disappointed if it does (because I kept a couple for a rainy day ). I'll still be around here to make fun of you when required (maybe not as much as before though). Good luck to you all and don't forget that it's not illegal to sell your coins. Good riddance ... you were basically an immature idiot from the beginning anyway. Wonderful bedside manner, Doc.

Bingo! And only the strongest remain to tell the tale.

Who is Chris DeRose and why would the SEC pay any attention to him?
ICOs will be brought to heel whether or not someone points them out. It's a healthy thing ultimately.
It will definitely rock the alt market, but only certain sections and Bitcoin itself hasn't gone anywhere near it. I assume the overall price effect might be negative for everyone. You'd have to be a moron not to have seen it coming.
He's the host of Bitcoin Uncensored and one of the few critical minds I've found in the space. Check it out.

I am in.
If I were you I'd be worried about my 57000 XMR stuck sitting on an exchange without a functioning wallet. I hope you know a guy.

No. Casper can survive 51% attacks happening once in a while; we can just delete the attackers' deposits and keep going. Good to know... Good lord. And the ETH supporters, who were originally all principled Bitcoiners, now apparently don't give a shit about a permissionless, trustless cryptocurrency that can't be just rolled back, censored, or 'deleted'. Talk about justifying one's position. Not to mention I think it's humorous that nobody but Vitalik really even knows how ETH works at the nuts and bolts level, or what it's flaws are. Gonna be a huge disaster in the future. It's ok, Vladimir knows too: http://en.kremlin.ru/events/president/news/54677I can't even figure out how many tokens there will be. Last I heard Vitalik wanted to keep it at roughly 100 million? I honestly don't get it. It's a black box.

Sooooo tempted to short the weekend. But I've been burned too often, trading using leverage. I'll just set a low buy order instead I guess.
CNBC is telling the world we're going to hit $4000. Bloomberg has taken over shilling for us. I wouldn't short now if you paid me.

Regardless of the fact that you didn't believe in it in the beginning when it was crowd-selling for $0.50.
I'm a cynical old coot, but I tried. I cornered him once over a pint, I just couldn't get my head around it. I still don't see a single reasonable use-case.

And don't do crimes. Ross Ulbrict just lost his appeal. He will die in jail.
