2  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell all stocks, buy Bitcoin or Gold on: March 21, 2016, 04:47:10 PM
I still don't see how Silver would outperform gold, Silver is way more common than gold is.
3  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell all stocks, buy Bitcoin or Gold on: March 20, 2016, 09:36:30 PM
Considering the dollar haven't been doing a good job lately and the chinese stocks plummeted, bitcoin and gold are probably a good choice until we are past the panic phase.
4  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell all stocks, buy Bitcoin or Gold on: March 18, 2016, 11:04:14 PM
Yes I like gold and bitcoin, (and Dash) But don't forget silver. The gold silver ratio is spiking very high at the moment. It looks extremely likely silver will outperform gold.
Where does it show silver might outperform gold?

Was going to give the BTC to BlazedOut but he told me this, "Just keep it - glad it worked. I have had that happen before in the past."... I wouldn't feel right not giving it to anyone so KnightDK gets it since he helped too.

TXID

Thanks for all the help everyone that replied...

Grab a pair of needle nose pliars and grip the bracket right above the hole that attaches to the socket. Very gently pull down towards the socket and then outward once it has clearance. Take your time and do this very slowly. You should be able to pull it down just enough to let it release.

I can mark your picture if you are not clear on where to grab it.

Yeah I'll need some marks on the pic please...

Edit: nvm got it thanks... Can I get your address?

See that little metal square with the blue plastic square in it? You need to pop that metal up so that the plastic is no longer inside and catching it. Do that on both sides. Then the cooler should be able to be pulled straight off.

It's still not wanting to come off... And take a closer look at the lever the locked and unlock symbols don't make sense...
You might have actually just locked the lever. Perhaps it never was locked?

:/ beats me... I'm gonna sleep on this and try it tomorrow...

Well you pull the lever to the left (in the orientation of the picture) and it looks like there might be a tab that you need to push or pull to release the lever. The tab would be beneath the lever by the lever's hinge.

Got the lever pulled with some brute force... Now what?

Nice build by the way  Smiley

Since I don't see a cpu cooler in that build, I am assuming you are using the default CPU cooler with the MB. From the installation instructions in the manual here: https://a248.e.akamai.net/f/1828/2290/9f/dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/SocketAM3+/M5A99FX_PRO_R20/E8043_M5A99FX_PRO_R20_V3_WEB.pdf (diagrams on pg 58), it looks like you need to pull back the lever on one side and on both sides push in some clips on both sides near the bottom to release the cooler.

Thanks and the lever is just bending the whole thing and won't undo.

Usually a little press down and towards the CPU will release the lever and you will be able to pull it up.

Yeah, that's not working... :/
