Why are u not able to answer a simple question here? Are US players allowed or not? Why is nitrogen not able to say that publicly when all other books do it Because they know it's illegal for US players to place bets, but it represents most of their consumer base (just look at their marketing/promos - you can tell it's tailored towards the US market). So, they say "play here at your own risk, up to you to decide whether it's legal in your jurisdiction" because they know that many players can't resist. |

You and your sister company Nitrobetting blatantly ignored my explicit requests for self exclusion, and then continued to email me promotions after finally agreeing to close my account. DM's to your twitter account and DM's to your bitcointalk account have been ignored. You should do the right thing and restore some of the funds you collected from me after the 2nd, 3rd and 4th request for permanent account closure. Otherwise, your "responsible gaming" commitment you claim is just bogus. We all know nitro is shit but you playing there is your own problem, nobody will reimburse you any money. Even after closing an account nothing would have stopped you from opening a new one or just play at a new site, so don't blame them for your gambling problems and get some help, you won't see any from this site. All depends on whether they want to do the right thing, morally speaking. If you say you honor self exclusion requests, then you shouldn't allow anyone to lose money on that specific account after the request was made. It's quite simple. Its YOUR OWN FAULT, do not blame other for that and just get the help you obviously need. Even if they would give you something back you would play with it and lose anyway. How can you claim that so definitively? How do you know that I haven't already turned my life around? In fact, I have not placed a bet since I left them in March. It feels great. But, I want them to own up to their side of this as well. Had they granted any of my initial requests, I would have been in a much better spot, much sooner. |

With no license, there is NOTHING STOPPING THEM from just shutting their doors and running away with your money. Nothing. And that becomes all the more likely considering just how terrible and heartless their management is.

This place isn't even licensed, so if you have problems, you will have no retribution. Best to play at books which are licensed by real gaming entities. This one just holds a "data processing" license from Costa Rica. Any disputes you have with them will fall silent.

Why is that a lie? I think you should clarify that before making such accusations. You wrote in your previous post that you received an email from a promotion, but your account was also blocked at the time of that promotion, were you unable to log in as you requested? And are we talking about the same account you had used to exclude your own or a new account? I also want to remind you that many sites with a limited number of months operate with exclusion; this means that you can, for example, exclude yourself for 1 month, and after this 1 month your account will automatically become active again. Read beyond just my last post. I asked their sister company (Nitrobetting) mutliple times to shut down my account back in October. They didn't do anything until I asked again in January. Then instead of removing me from their systems, they continued to send me promo emails (I received 2, multiple weeks apart, and also sent a complaint after the first one). |

Just today - 2 months after having my accounts closed - I received an email asking me to participate in their 10BTC March Madness tournament. Completely unacceptable. Yet no ramifications. THese people simply do not care about gambling issue responsibility.

A reminder to not play here. They refused to close an account after repeated attempts to self-exclude, despite plastering 'we care about responsible gambling' and 'we train our employees to notice signs of problem gambling' all over their website. They are unethical and it's all a ruse to appease the rating agencies like SBR.

Haven't played here, but played on the sister site which is owned by the same people. I think this may be relevant for this thread.
In October, I tried to close my account at Nitrobetting because I had a gambling problem. I did not mention this gambling problem explicitly to them, but shouldn't have to. It's embarrassing, but at this point, with my life in shambles, I don't care about admitting it. They refused to close my account after multiple requests. Instead, they said my only option was to wait for the account to go dormant. This is really concerning because A) yes, it is possible for them to close an account, and B) they advertise 'self-exclusion' options on their front page. After requesting my account be permanently closed & shut off on multiple occasions, I lost ~$15,000 USD. Note, I was a losing player throughout my existence here. Never had a winning month. I was very profitable for them. Had I been a winner, my hypothesis is that they would have honored my initial request. I did ask them about this, and they said "at no point did you mention you had a gambling problem". That's true, but I shouldn't have to. My hunch is that upper-level management was not made aware of this situation or else they would remedy this. Instead, mid-level support agents are now telling me to get lost and they have no interest in discussing ethical/moral concerns of mine, which center on them accepting business from someone who tried to self exclude numerous times.

Their email responses have been very rude - placing blame on me for wanting to be self excluded. Yes, they finally blocked my access to the site - 4 months after I first requested it. After that, they had the nerve to send me a 'promotional' email. I told them that I shouldn't be receiving those emails, and they told me to just simply ignore them. For those that don't know, gambling addiction chemically alters your brain and the way it works. A simple promotional email isn't easy to just 'ignore' - it causes such a strong temptation. I had reached out to Nitrogen since Nitrobetting wasn't helping and Nitrogen owns them, but now Nitrogen has stopped responding. If this company really, truly cared - as they state here and all over their website - they would have put their money where their mouth is and refunded some of my losses after refusing to close my account. about 3 weeks after they finally honored my self exclusion request, i get an email from them informing me to "Earn 40 mBTC with our new Casino Bonus". Yes, they really take self exclusion seriously.   |
