What is the cause for this pump? Any recent development  Huh

Coins do not just rise for nothing so if no recent development/good news then a group has there hand in pumping this coin.

Get out before the fall  Cheesy Grin Cheesy Grin

Mining is getting more and more hard every single day...

That's exactly what we want Cheesy

Fractional rewards show you big hashers out there that you get no advantage from jumping on at a low difficulty  Wink

Thank You,
Viz.
I <3 fractional rewards... makes everything fair.

Reserves are currently at 1500 on the gpu channel, the real game starts after 1000.

Are you currently mining the GPU channel? How many GPU's you got on it? Tomorrow I'm setting up my miners, 9 R9-280x GPU's total, I'm curious as to how many CSD I'm going to get.  Smiley

I'd say you're pretty late to the game buddy. I mean, one could get quite a bit last year, compared to now. Just before it hit bittrex was when I started mining this coin myself (yea that late), and made 5000 csd that day with 3 970's. Right now I'm running two 970's and two 980's.

I'm mining on both channels, but is only worth it for the wattage on the gpu channel. With my 4970k, get around 1-2 blocks a day at 4.6Ghz, today I found 3 somehow.

Yeah, I left my miners at my brothers house where they been collecting dust for about a year now... He finally brought them back to me  Grin.... Tomorrow I'm going to find out if solar panels produce enough juice to power these 3 rigs Smiley. I should be able to get a few blocks.

Everything is okay https://bittrex.com/Status , Says Normal now...So yes it was maintenance.  Smiley
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Coinshield: Pure SHA3, Decentralized Checkpoints, Block Rewards Never Half on: February 14, 2015, 01:16:34 AM
The end is near.
The end of what? Earth? Pokemon? Humans?.....I'm confused.... Huh

what's going on Bittrex ?  Maintance ?
Is it possible withdrawal of CSD ??
I just reached out will bittrex, most likely it is maintenance, If it was something serious they would have reached out to us.  I will post an update when I get a response.

ALSO: If you still have coins at Coin-Swap you can now withdraw.  Smiley

Here is a list of the total supply at given dates in time:

9/23/2015: 26,042,198 CSD
9/23/2016: 42,055,131 CSD
9/23/2017: 52,206,118 CSD
9/23/2024: 74,785,385 CSD

Thank You,
Viz.
many people read only OP , and they see 100 mil coins, Videlicet please  put this info in OP, this is good explanation of coin supply

Good idea, I will insert it, also please note: we are getting the OP designed, :-),  Viz is currently working on the white paper He is almost done...but it is more like a book then a paper  Grin
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Coinshield: Pure SHA3, Decentralized Checkpoints, Block Rewards Never Half on: February 06, 2015, 12:36:36 AM
wallet info :
total supply to Date:    11158294 CSD [99.8444 %]
what happen when reach 100% ?
what we can expect about emission in next 6 months ? is it possible make some graph. of coin emission ?

On the first page in this thread it says "Maximum Supply: ~ 100 Million [3% Annual Inflation after 10 Years]"
So we're only at 11 mil. right ?
Or did I miss something ?!

Here's a quote from Viz:

This is an exact figure. It is broken down to ~25 CSD per minute per channel decaying at a rate of (50 * e ^ (-0.0000011  * nMinutes) + 1.0) / 2. This is why you notice there are some rewards that are small fractions, and others that are full subsidy's. This keeps the supply released on a time based curve, with no inflation, and no unpredictability in total supply.

The 100 million won't be fully released for 10 years.

Viz.
After 10 years the 3% inflation will keep the blockchain moving, and miners mining.

Stoner19 was in the CSD IRC yesterday, working on the coinswap wallet, he was asking for peers.  It looks like they are working on it.
Yes they are, I sent them new code today to get everything working, I'm glad to see them working on it now.
370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Coinshield: Pure SHA3, Decentralized Checkpoints, Block Rewards Never Half on: February 03, 2015, 05:35:51 PM
Still no coins from Coin-Swap.
This whole shit has cost me way to much time.  I knew it would be this way as soon as you got voluntarily delisted, but did not have the time required to download wallets and deal with all that garbage.

So 2 whole weeks I sit with my 50k CSD in limbo.
None of the coin-swap support views this thread (at least I think they don't), Please contact them via IRC, #coin-swap. coinswap-Ian is who we are waiting on it appears.... stoner19 is super responsive if you want updates. You can also try tagging @GawCEO on twitter. I'm reaching out to them everyday trying to get a solid answer. So far it is that they are waiting on Ian.

EDIT: I just got word they are working on it today. Will keep you updated.

Also evtrmm, please check your PMs.
371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Coinshield: Pure SHA3, Decentralized Checkpoints, Block Rewards Never Half on: February 03, 2015, 02:27:15 AM
Pool payments(CPU channel) are very unstable.
Check out these gaps.

UTC +3
First it went smoothly. But all my rigs got connected I've got these gaps. Is it normal? Or pool went down sometimes and mining was useless? Some blocks were found by solo miners as I understood. It may be not fair=(

P.S.: maybe work is delivered to miners with a delay when there are a lot of connections. Or outdated work. Pool seems to be much more stable than the last time I tried mining. It is alive but payments...

Pool payouts get faster when there are more workers on the pool, and the pool is getting more blocks. You'll see smaller payouts when there are more workers.

Viz, KryptoKash, any word on the coin-swap withdrawals?

This has gone on to long.

This is the very reason I was ticked about the delisting request.  how many coins are in limbo over there?
I have no way to know how many coins are in limbo at coin-swap. I am waiting for them to update me. I will post an update when I get one.
Thanks,
KryptoKash

still no coin-swap transactions. yes, I will check the other thread.
We just sent them what they needed this morning. Give them a bit...they should get them out soon.  Smiley

Anyone have any contact with Coin-Swap about the withdrawals?

Yes Sir

evtrmm,

I'm sending them a modified code base that allows for only transactions. We'll see if it helps resolve their issue  Smiley

Viz.

This will be done soon, viz is working on it. We will keep everyone updated here: http://coinshieldtalk.org/forum/coin/technical-support/396-coin-swap-withdrawal

Any pool source?

edit:

Quote
edit: Okay I added DDOS Filtering now rather than just DOS Filtering. Pool operating smoothly.

0 PPS. Miner connects but don't get work

P.S.: where can I see network hashrate(CPU channel)? Current diff seems to be ~6.
The pools source will be released when they are finished being coded. They would have been done by now but when GAW miners purchased coin-swap our main concern was to get listed elsewhere and our focus has been on updating the core and the block explorer. The pools will be open sourced as soon as they are 100% finished....I hear Viz is adding DDOS protection today. :-)

You can see difficulty in the debug window within the wallet, Help>Debug Window. Currently CPU is 6.11.

As for the miner, I'll let Viz comment on that  Grin

Thanks for supporting Coinshield!

Currently you must search by transaction id. We are upgrading it to be searchable by wallet address.  Smiley

If someone is buying at 4500sat then I'll put 100k on the table.

Yes an exchange is needed, however I'm sure it will 'soon come'

Keep calm and mine on!
Yes we are working on getting listed on an exchange. We should have one very very very soon  Smiley
