1  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S9 not logging into btc pool on: August 17, 2022, 08:19:00 PM
thank you for updating me, I forget nicehash just pays you for hashing speed. I did solve this issue by creating a flight plan and wallet in hiveon. It's odd though on some I have the same equipment it seems and its not necessary. Always something going on when you have crypto harware, I now have a board out on a L3 miner now too. lol  Roll Eyes

UPDATE : I got it running on nicehash again, but its only working at 1/3 its ability. G/HS 4.8 when it should be about 12-14 , I feel it might have something to do with the hiveon firmware. Thanks again guys for helping.
3  Bitcoin / Mining support / S9 not logging into btc pool on: August 15, 2022, 08:43:11 AM
Hello btc forum! One of my 5 s9 is being tricky for some reason. Back ground is I bought it used and it didnt work on nicehash correctly but it worked on btcpool correctly. Now here I am set up some new miners and was trying to bring it back to nicehash and I forgot to save the setting to log back into my btcpool account correctly. Can you give me an example of what it should look like in the pool setting.

This is what I'm running now and its showing alive but its not showing up on the btcpool side as an active miner.

wasn't PSU for me, I had a fan not working and that will get your machine to reboot. Took me about 5 hours to diagnose it lol!
5  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Current Cost of s9 and best place to buy on: July 11, 2022, 01:17:17 AM
ebay is the best place thus far, thanks everyone for the support. I now have a total of 1 s9 running and two on the way. I'm debating what's next.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ant miner l7 price on: June 26, 2022, 05:44:12 PM
Thank you very much for your time , just surprised I saw it on eBay. What’s the best price we should expect in this market?
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Ant miner l7 price on: June 24, 2022, 11:28:30 PM
I found some at 6,000 supposedly from tetherasic.com , what should I expect to pay for used l7? Is there something else maybe I should look into? I’m willing to spend about 20,000 usd to start. Thanks I look forward to hearing your feedback. Cheers
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / L7 antminer on: June 23, 2022, 03:14:33 AM
It seems this is about the apex of mining. I'm debating buying new or used right now. I still wasn't able to get my second s9 working... Kinda bummed , but looking towards the future!
9  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Red light on s9j on: June 20, 2022, 02:37:17 AM
Ok I’m saying it’s a bad board or a firmware issue, I’m thinking of selling it or sending it to someone to be diagnosed and possibly fixed. Is there anyone that could diagnose these for a reasonable cost?
10  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Red light on s9j on: June 06, 2022, 11:39:59 PM
i tried the 32gb, also no luck. I then reverted back to original p4 pin setup with removal of sd card. I am now experiencing a solid red light.

UPDATE : P1 wasnt all the way down , now im showing red and green light solid again. lol

UPDATE 2 : After a few more restarts I am now showing a solid red light.
11  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Red light on s9j on: June 05, 2022, 06:10:38 PM
Yes I believe I did burn it to the card correctly, I did definitely place it in the slot and move the pin on p4. It might not have read because it was a 128gb card? That’s one thing I’ve read so far…
12  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Red light on s9j on: June 05, 2022, 03:09:54 PM
I don’t believe any firmware loaded. I was attempting to load brainsos.
13  Bitcoin / Mining support / Red light on s9j on: June 05, 2022, 01:13:20 AM
I just tried changing firmware and created a nice problem. I can’t find my IP to the ant miner s9j now and I have a solid red light.   Possibly bad board?
14  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Current Cost of s9 and best place to buy on: May 28, 2022, 12:06:25 AM
Best prices I’ve found are on eBay. I’ve seen  200$-300$, seems to be going rate. The s9 are still trading and in demand like the above poster stated.
15  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Current Cost of s9 and best place to buy on: May 24, 2022, 11:07:08 PM
85$ is exactly what I’m looking for if they work! Why couldn’t I find him on google, seems to good to be true.
16  Bitcoin / Mining / Current Cost of s9 and best place to buy on: May 24, 2022, 06:34:30 AM
I see a 14TH at new egg for 439$ . Is there a better place I should buy, looking for reliability and honest vendors that's why I was thinking Newegg. I'm debating bidding on eBay though.

Love to hear your thoughts on used s9 pricing and availability Thank you. Cheers.

If there is other threads on this topic please point me to them, search function is slow on the site. Just looking for some more information current to 2022. Thank you, I look forward to hearing from you all and hopefully getting this project started ASAP! CHEERS!
