321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][THE NEW HONOR COIN][XHC] POW/POS X13| SMOOTH LAUNCH! [Developing News] on: July 24, 2014, 10:11:31 PM
A tip of the hat to all of you in this community that defend and support XHC. Like in all politics, you can't make everyone happy. However, one fact is that XHC is once again building strength and we have Jarvis and this community to thank.   Smiley

How long should it take to receive a withdraw from Polonix to my wallet? Status at Polonix states complete. However, I am not seeing my sample deposit in my windows wallet. I've been waiting about 5 min.

It looks like I should be waiting.

I hold a bit of XHC right now and I want to see this coin kick some ass. However, at some point I may need to sell some off (I'm not planning to any time soon). My question is, what is the best way to go about this with sacrificing positive pressure? I will take any advice anyone has to share. Perhaps others can learn too.

Thank you

Well my advice in regards to selling your coins is as follows.

Since we have the inside info, the coins we purchase will be held because of the future development releases. I believe that XHC value appreciation will surprise investors. If you have to sell some coins to cover cost, I would recommend to place strategic sell orders to drive the price up and not down. Do not sell cheap by clicking on buy orders. Stagger your order to drive the price up! here is an example of proper trading.

Example portfolio: 20,000 (XHC balance) Liquidating 10% for your donation to the Honorcoin Foundation of 2,000 XHC.

Ok, got it!

Makes total sense.

Thank you Jarvis. You Rock!

typo (without sacrificing...)

I noticed the "Exchange" link on the official XHC web-sight ( http://www.honorcoin.me ) is still directing people to Bittrex, which has since been a de-list-er. It seems consumer confidence is paramount with any altcoin.  Therefore anyone new who may discover XHC could be turned off with the closed link. Whoever has access to this may want to have it linked to Poloniex instead. It's Just a suggestion.

Peace!

When I checkout my MN info at ( https://elbzo.net/masternodes.html ), I notice my wallet version is in a is listed as version 0.10.11.5 and is in the light red. I am not sure what this all means or if there is something that I must do to make it up to date. I should also mention I'm running the current DRK wallet v0.10.11.6-g4869713-beta. It looks like half the nodes listed on this page are on v0.10.11.5 and the other half are on v0.10.11.6. I just want to ensure my beloved MN to has a clean bill of health. Again, does anyone know what this means and what should I do?

Thank you.

There is something to be said when you can persevere  and overcome adversity. Honor Coin has this going for it every day when there is a development team working on it (my deepest gratitude) . I just want to thank everyone who has added their time, resources ($), and both praise and costructive criticism into this coin. XHC continues to exist! Anyway, I'm just a coin holder and I'd like to give everyone here in this community a virtual high-five. Peace!  Smiley

To Jarvis and the dev team,

I am glad to see that we will start getting daily updates of the development of this coin, I agree that the silence was a little frustrating but not to the point that some people have reacted. I would prefer to see that you and your team continue the development of this coin and not transferred to another person. I think you are on the right track to make this a great coin. I have made a donation of .150 BTC to help with the costs of operation, this is my second donation of this amount. I am currently holding a little over 3% of total coins and will buy more once a wallet gets set up again and trading starts again on Bittrex.

Keep up the great work you are doing, I know you are doing all you can with the resources you have.

I agree with you. I am a bit vested in this coin too. More patience with the current Dev Team and with beter communication (<weekly).  Thank you for dropping some added support and being decent with Dev. You da Man!
330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Potential Markets de-listed from Bittrex on Friday, July 18th on: July 15, 2014, 03:37:29 PM
Please keep this coin alive. I wish to believe the Dev is working to hard to make this coin something special. It takes a time craft an honorable code. Again, please give (Honor coin) the time needed to affectively reorganize. There are many investors of Honor Coin that will be extremely grateful if you can make this happen. Thank you.

Should there be reason of concern if I have not received any pay from my master node in the past 24-30 hours? My first 3 DRK's came to me like clock work. Day 4 coin is taking it own sweet time. I'll be more patient if I know this is typical with MN payments. TY

Noob Question

Will I receive all my back pay from my Master Node once my computer/wallet has been turned back on after being powered off for a week or so? Logic tells me "yes", but i wish not to make assumptions.

333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRK] DarkCoin | First Anonymous Coin | First X11 | First DGW | Fork for Masternode Payment on: July 10, 2014, 08:34:14 AM
If you have a master node. do you get paid daily and roughly how much?

--> http://drk.poolhash.org/mnode.html

Currently 6.40$ / 0.978DRK per node per day - you get paid when your MN gets selected  Wink

https://elbzo.net/masternodes.html

Here is a list of the MN's
scroll down and select [1] from random nodes to get an idea of pay per day.

I'm sure this MN question has been asked several times here but I can't locate it. Do I need to have a remote linux server if I'm running already running a minning rig w/ Ubuntu? I'm also running Windows 8.1 Pro on my pc. I would like to find the best DIY setup guide and take a look at  it first before I consider having someone I don't know set it up for me. Its a little nerve-racking learning something new with the value of 1000 DRK at hand.

That is what I a here for my friend. Please check my sig!!  Wink

This is a great service.

I haven't used GhostPlayer, but the concept of master node help and pools is JUST FUCKING AWESOME.

Now imagine that concept being used by Bitcoin and just about every other coin going forward.

+101

Haha!! Thanks man.

This was actually the second thing that made be stick to DRK.

1st - Brilliant whitepaper. Then found out the dev, Evan Duffield (and no anon-pseudonym) has 15+ years working in the financial field, but is 100% dedicated to his project, Darkcoin. Since I've been on testnet like a hawk, I KNOW he barely sleeps enough to get back to coding. And now he has a team, a damn good one. And the best is soon to come! This is nothing! DRK price is ridiculously low.

2nd - Best community ever in the crypto world! By a long shot !! Just doing my part the best I can.

**Another Successful Master Node Activation**

If you need help setting up your master node then may your search end with GhostPlayer as your go to expert. He was recommended to me by others on this thread (splawik21)and I would like to thank them as well for recommending his professional service. With me Located half a world away from GhostPlayer and  with < 3 hours to set up, I became a happy owner of a fully functional DRK coin MN. I don't know if its was random luck or just the norm but within 4 hours of my MN going online, I received my first 1.2 DRK of profit. I think that is pretty FrickN' cool. Anyways, If you have any questions about my MN setup experience, please feel free to ask away. You can also do a search for his name and read his signature for a full outline of his service.

Again, a great big shout out to GhostPlayer. You Da Man! Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley

Hello People of the DRK!

I am very interested with setting up a Master Node at some point in the near future. I currently have about 850 DRK's to my name and I am working feverishly to scrape up funds to acquire 150 more, now at what seem to be a pretty damn good value. However, once I reach 1000 DRK what should my plan of attack be to get a Master Node started? I am not proficient with code and the last thing I want to do is loose any of my 1000 DRK just because of lack of node knowledge. For the average dude, where should I look to make preparations for a safe Master Node setup? I am venturing into relatively new investment territory and I am not in a huge hurry. I just want it to do it right with no mistakes. Any advice will be greeted with open arms. Thank you. Smiley

I also want to send my thanks to all you that contribute and maintain the support for XHC.  I appreciate reading what you have to say. Thank you and keep it up! Smiley

Love the replies "Honor is dead"... Are you a mosquito? You live only a month, than die, yourself... The coin is only a few weeks old on the exchange. Hell, your account is only a few weeks old on the forums. Stop attempting to inform people who have been here for years, of what is "dead". You clearly have no idea what you are talking about. (If you are on a new alt account, thus the few posts and newb status, then your guidance has no merit. You hid for a reason... More than likely a bunch of other wrong calls.)

Again, there is no point announcing that the coin is dead, unless it is some pitiful attempt to get more cheap. If it is dead, as you say, then go away, it's dead. Why do you have an interest in a dead coin? (Because you actually believe that FUD works, and FUD actually has nothing to do with anything. Might be why you keep finding yourself investing in the wrong coins, because you listen to FUD and HYPE, and think it actually dictates the market. You couldn't be further from the reality of things. FUD and HYPE controls YOU, not those who make money. Those are the ones playing off FUD and HYPE that you follow. Unfortunately, if you don't have finances to play the FUD and HYPE, you just look like an idiot crying wolf.)

P.S. Found more servers that we might have at our disposal, if only for more nodes. I didn't realize there was a strong private tech-world in Jacksonville, Florida. Who knew!

+1 thanks for the updates. As a HODLer I appreciate it. People need to be more patient.

I totally agree. Your words are much appreciated. It makes me feel good believing that this coin still has a heartbeat and others still believe in its potential. Thank you again for the much appreciated occasional shout-out. Peace!

I just vested more into XHC at the current low to help offset my initial loss when Honor was soon after sacrificed. It will be a good day when XHC can make a rebound and truly restore Honor. What's a few extra bucks when all I want to see is XHC make it back > 2k. I will be patient.

I bought >1k XHC (WTF!) back in the time of its inflated infancy. I will be white knuckling this coin like a boss till the very end. Thank you to all of you working so hard to instill some hope back into this coin. May we all find at least dry land soon or better yet the moon. Peace!
