Their performance mining Ethereum is almost the same, the real difference begins with mining other algorithms so this is a decision only you can make, do you have interest to mine another algorithm besides Ethereum and hold? If yea goes with Nvidia the 6800 can mine ravencoin and a few others don't get me wrong but you will get the upper hand with the Nvidia, buy the AMD only if you see a very good price.
After the end of ethereum mining, both video cards will probably give a very small profit. Nvidia is better at mining some coins, AMD video cards are better at mining other coins, but probably more than 80% of video cards mine Ethereum. 16 GB memory is probably better than 8 GB in the future. Since Ethereum get launched this is the second year that you can't mine ETH with 4GB anymore, its been many years so far, imagine if one has a 8GB graphic card lol, now that Ethereum is going PoS it doesn't matter anymore and its going to be tough to see another coin that will make 8GB graphic cards get expired. What if a new coin appears that requires more than 8 GB of memory? It is beneficial for video card manufacturers to have miners buy new video cards. my old GTX 1070 video card has 8 GB of memory, and then it will be relevant for a long time, and this is unprofitable for Nvidia. 8GB memory out of the box? That's impossible, every new PoW coins needs loads of miners for difficulty to high right? The requirement is literally zero memory and slowly it climbs up with time, I think this is how every coins works. |

I miss paper wallets
Back in 2017 I remember when I opened my first doge coin and Lite coin wallets, I use paper wallet online generator at that time and I have even forget how I did it then and even few new projects introduced paper wallet like Electroneum, I just feel safer using Paper wallet because honestly all I need is my Wallet address and Block explorer to check my balance, no need to connect to the internet and I've kept my ETN coins this way for years, the only way to get your wallet hacked then is losing your recovery seed.
I want Paper Wallets again, I have FLUX, Kadena, and other, I wish I can just generate a paper wallet for them instead

Another PoW coin will have to fight for ETH place once the merge is completed, I think it's probably Ergo or Flux, these two coins will need a high level of exposure and also good funding to rise above others and maybe new coins will come after, Kadena for example is making lots of sense too.

Maybe it makes sense that Elon Musk is trying to buy Twitter, I am not a fan but I think having more than one Crypto influencer like him isn't bad at all, I also think that if Elon acquired Twitter he can implement crypto payment and tipping on the social media platform, even DogeCoin will benefit a lot here, I am suspecting he has all this in mind, what do you think..

I've known Justin Sun for one thing, he controls things in a centralized way than a decentralized way, I hope he won't end up fu**king this one up again, just like Tron trc20, I dont have to go into details here, many know what I am talking about.
There are lot of drama about Justin Sun but it does not prevent people to use TRON for their transactions. When transaction fee on ERC 20 chain is high and before the launch of Binance Smart Chain, USDT on TRC20 was a most favorite option for many people. After Binance launched Binance Smart Chain, they tried to force Binance users to use BSC rather than TRC20 chain by increasing withdrawal fee on TRC20. However, when both ERC20 and BSC cause high transaction fee, TRC20 chain again becomes a good alternative for people. Actually the only reason why people are still using TRon is because of USDT, do you know how many altcoins have abandoned Tron trc20? They all have their reasons, Justin Sun learnt nothing from CZ, its like that are both Morning and Night .
I think justin sun's idea is very interesting which will build a decentralized stablecoin.
where we know that stablecoins are coins that have the most stable prices compared to other coins.
I think that's what Justin took advantage of by building a special decentralized stablecoin because it has a small risk compared to other types of coins.
I think if this project is successful then usdd will be more decentralized than stablecoins because they will be centralized and have their own place.
I hope he has learnt a lesson after all, this stable coin going decentralized looks promising but it still depends on how he Justin Sun handle this Stable Coin this time around, we have a few new stable coins that people aren't even into, only UST did very well. |

My 3060ti Gigabyte GPU start displaying Artefacts this morning and I noticed the back plate is so hot, the fan is working I don't know what went wrong.

This problem can occur on many older motherboards. There is always an updated bios solution provided by the manufacturer to fix the problem. Under normal conditions, each motherboard detects and starts 4 GPUs running smoothly. 4 If the Gpu limit is exceeded and the Gpu is suspended, you need to check the Gen3 and similar settings in the Bios settings.
Few motherboards don't have Gen 2 and Gen 3 option, even a mobo I bought for mining which have 6slots only works with 5 slots, I've tried everything I could even upgrade the BIOS. |
