1  Economy / Economics / Re: Can I take a loan to invest in bitcoin? on: May 31, 2023, 08:25:16 AM
My advice is the same with your advice. I don't like loans. I don't like borrowing money. I'm not comfortable knowing that I owe somebody a certain amount. But, who knows, if ever a time comes that I will have to borrow money, I might. However, it will never be for the sake of investment. It might be due to emergencies.

But if somebody is to borrow money for the sake of investment, Bitcoin is a better choice especially in the middle of a bear season and if it is for long-term hodling.
At least I don’t have the courage, I remember a news in the past, Binance’s CZ once sold his real estate to invest in digital currency. Although he succeeded, this approach is not worth advocating. The volatility of Bitcoin is relatively large. If you operate on an exchange and use leverage, then you will fall into a huge financial crisis or even go bankrupt.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are about to enter altcoin season, what do you think? on: May 29, 2023, 09:13:31 AM
From the historical chart and  according to recent observations, the onset of Altcoin season appears to coincide with the stabilization of Bitcoin prices. As Bitcoin's volatility decreases, traders are seemingly turning towards accumulating altcoins, indicating that we may be on the cusp of an Altcoin season.

What is your thoughts? Are you agree with the point?

There is a proverb: the bigger the wind and waves, the more expensive the fish. Therefore, as the most profitable altcoin market, it often attracts a large number of gamblers to participate in it. Therefore, the encryption market is often driven by emotions. Although it is clearly known that this is a crazy and dangerous vortex, the temptation of huge benefits is often irresistible to greedy human nature.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the next crypto craze? on: January 05, 2023, 07:43:01 AM
Cryptos have had many crazes all over the years. First, it was Bitcoin appearance.
right after that, there were the altcoins and soon after the ICOs, IPOs and all the O's thingy craze. Afterwards the PoS and stacking craze came to play and then smart contracts came around then the DAO Blow. Then the Cexes, the Dexes and right after that, we saw NFTs rise along with the metaverse. (I'm probably missing something). Now we just had the Merge.
Many of these phases have helped the crypto market achieve new highs and led the blockchain technology to go mainstream.
A lot of developments have been a part of the industry growth, so my question here is, what do you guys think will be the next craze in the industry?
As the regulation of the global encryption world becomes more and more stringent, the next encryption boom in the future will come from a more rigorous field. First of all, the code quality will be higher and higher, and there will be no place for junk projects to survive. If the NFT sector continues to be popular, then I think SBT will be the hottest sector.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SBF said: WHAT HAPPENED? on: January 05, 2023, 07:35:25 AM
SBF was typical a troller. that tweet has been revealing his true nature since what happened with so many users of FTX (include me) and he can still try to create such troll tweet like nothing happened. I hope that guy will be jailed soon along with alameda ceo.

that shitty guy must be brought to the court as soon as possible. there's something wrong happened with him. i believe.
SBF is a typical perpetrator. Whether it is for personal interests or political interests, he has completely forgotten the interests of users. Some say it's a parasite, some say it's a criminal. I want to say that SBF relies on some kind of background to unscrupulously treat others as fools.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do if you get a time machine now? on: January 02, 2023, 06:00:35 AM
Ironic question right? Well, as a crypto lover/ investor or whatever, only one thing that comes to my mind. That is, to be honest, if I get a time machine now, I would probably travel to the past and advise myself to buy BTC when it was so low. In the past, I may not have had the cash to buy it, but somehow I would convince myself to gather some money to buy it. Or take something from today and give it to my past self.

This is just like a fantasy. A daydream that is impossible to do. But have you ever thought something out of the box? Like we are in 2022 soon to be in 2023 (Happy new year to all). As days pass by we are moving toward the future right? Thinking about it like this puts us in the past. Our future will become our present one day. So are you going to think the same thing about your future and just continue on living?

Bitcoin is here with us since 2008. We can't go to the past, can't change it.

After all this, you may be wondering what I am trying to tell here. Let me explain then.

Considering our present as our past, put yourself in the future and think about what your future self would advise you right now.  In this bear market, the price is low. Not as low as in 2008, but it is low now. What are you going to do? Ignore this now and in the future tell yourself when Bitcoin crosses its ATH again that, "if only I had a time machine now"
Well, a bear market is not a thing to be panicked about. It's an opportunity to fill our bags. Hold it for the future, as if your future self told you to do so. Every pro-crypto owners know this. Time to learn for yourself.

This topic is for newbies who are thinking that BTC will fail and get vanished out of existence. Read this, and you will understand

[Note: Not your financial adviser, Do Your Own Research]

Be sure to let us know what you think about this!

If there is a time machine, I don't want to go back to the past, because my financial situation was very bad at that time. If I have to choose, I want to look at the future and make investment preparations in advance.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why is bitcoin price important? on: December 30, 2022, 06:08:57 AM
We're waiting for the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse to arrive Cool

must be waiting for something. at this rate, bitcoin might need to get to $250k or $1mil just to keep up with the joneses. Shocked
Time is the best way, time will not wait for you, will you wait for time? This is difficult for many people.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as Legal tender plan by Fiji's new prime minister on: December 30, 2022, 06:00:30 AM
A first, a pioneer is always most important because it makes a milestone, sets up a new standard, new direction, new growth of adoption.

El Salvador is a first country which makes Bitcoin as legal tender. Fiji even makes a same thing, effect should be smaller. Because there is a first nation made it. In addition, in bear market, effects would be smaller too.

At the end, Fiji did not announce that they are planning to do it. The article does not reveal that plan.
I want to say that when Bitcoin meets politics, Bitcoin becomes a tool used by the government to control the country. Is Bitcoin still pure? If it is perfectly integrated, is Bitcoin under strict supervision? My point is: Anyone and any country can use Bitcoin, but it is the users who need to be regulated, not Bitcoin itself. All in all, this is good news.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Destroy Crap Altcoins? on: December 15, 2022, 06:40:31 AM
Quote
"Silicon Valley Venture Capital Godfather" Tim Draper (Tim Draper) believes that people will turn to high-quality and decentralized cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, and some weaker cryptocurrencies will become historical relics.
Due to the tightening of monetary policy by the Federal Reserve and the knock-on effect of the bankruptcy of major industry companies such as Terra, Celsius and FTX, the crypto market is full of fraud, black gold politics and various conspiracy theories. I'm personally on the sidelines, but still have a lot of confidence. The pool of crypto markets is getting cleaner and cleaner.
In this earthquake in the encryption market, people's awareness is getting higher and higher. God said that the disaster is that people become smarter and see scams more and more clearly instead of pure trust. Altcoins are becoming more and more Like a mainstream currency, if you are a liar, you have to be a liar with a high IQ.
As a government, it will also make the encryption market more orderly through various regulations. There is no doubt that Bitcoin has had a huge impact on the global economic order.
The early dividend period of Bitcoin is over, and the next is the stable period. What are your views on the future? I clearly know that the persistence of beliefs is often not so strong, and few people can hold Bitcoin for a long time.
Bitcoin is tolerant, allowing multiple digital currencies to coexist. Blockchain technology started from Satoshi Nakamoto's white paper, and Bitcoin was the first application of this technology. Other so-called digital currencies are imitators of Bitcoin. Of course, the price trend is based on Bitcoin.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Is recession coming actually? on: November 14, 2022, 05:51:57 AM
Looking at it in general economical aspect This speculations regarding recession is not surprising if we look at how inflation has drastically risen since the covid pandemic. This has also prompted the rise in interest and causing rise in eventually almost every commodity making it difficult to businesses and to even save. Economic experts have said if the inflation doesn't reduces then it is most likely for recession to hit.

Another area which may push in recession is the war between Ukraine and Russia. Since the start of the war the supply of energy to other countries by Russia has reduced, this could also drive in recession.

You say what I want to express, the epidemic is a big reason. Although the attitudes of many countries and governments are very open and do not regard the epidemic as a terrible thing, the overall global trade activity has decreased a lot.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Pi mainnet on: November 14, 2022, 05:45:51 AM
How do you respond if altcoins that have never been registered on an exchange can already be traded?
Basically here I just want to buy a Pi mainet that has been mined by the user.
there are some people I know who want to own a Pi, so those who want to sell can dm or telegram @irsadagustiar.
for the current price of around $0.3.

Note: prices are subject to change at any time.

This is a very interesting story. The first time I heard about this coin, an uncle in his 60s told me, and he sent me two messages: one is that you don’t need to invest, you can use your mobile phone to mine. The second information is very professional, this is the digital currency with the largest number of nodes and the most widely distributed in the world. very scary. . . . . .
11  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will Russia Emerge As The Next Dominant Superpower on: November 12, 2022, 06:58:58 AM
Unfortunately Russia will remain as a threat for the global peace and security.
Are you seriously? The West has robbed Russia by freezing its money and is now trying to find justifications to confiscate it. As Otto von Bismarck said:
Quote
Do not expect that once you take advantage of Russia's weakness, you will receive dividends forever. Russians always come for their money. And when they come, do not rely on the Jesuit agreements you have signed that allegedly justify you. They are not worth the paper they are written on. Therefore, it is worth either playing fair with the Russians, or not playing at all.

You stepped on the wrong guy's foot, you'll have to pay for it. I'm Russian, I'll take all your Nutella and make you eat shit. This is my plan, try to stop me if you can.  Grin
Without a doubt, I am not Russian, but I support Russia. The reason I am afraid to like it is also very simple, I adore Mr. Putin, in which he lays flowers for his teacher in the rain, and is very sad, he is a tough guy, and conversely, I don't think that Ukrainian comedian is a good national leader . Besides, NATO and the United States are existences that I have always disliked. The relationship between nations is the same as between us as individuals. If Mr Putin had not considered Ukrainian civilians, the war would have been over.
