1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I Got 1 Million $SHIB airdroped in a trading competition! What Should I do? on: May 04, 2024, 03:50:34 PM
Since you got the said shibanu through airdrop which means free coins then you don't have anything to lose if you hold the Shiba Inu in your possession without any fear or risk of losing your personal funds.

Also because most of your investment are in bitcoin to it not a too much risk to take holding the current amount of bitcoin in your possession, although I know the volitility and uncertainty of memecoins.
2  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: After Joining as a beginner what keeps you going on this forum? on: May 04, 2024, 03:37:48 PM
The ability to work and earn few satoshis if I rank up was the number one thing that keep me motivated, and secondly I was able to learn along the way because I was privelage to have some spear cash then to buy few bitcoin and as that becomes my reality I became interested in discussions as related and regards to bitcoin since I already have some good amount of my savings in bitcoin and at risk of losing if I lack knowledge.

So that becomes very important point for me because I always running after the knowledge and experience of others who I engage in discussions with here in the forum.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: May 04, 2024, 03:30:12 PM
After a highly contested game, the Arsenal team managed to score a goal, and this goal was a hard-earned success.  Today's game in particular was full of competitive moments and massive attacks. Saka is a hardworking player who is ready to score the only goal by his performance. However, in today's match, Arsenal team is very strong, but in terms of attack, Arsenal team is much ahead. Bournemouth are trying hard but this game will prove how well any team performs, but I'd bet Arsenal to win.
The attack at Arsenal was on fire today! Kasa has been working hard, and that goal was a clear sign of how hard he's been working. Though the penalty call in the 41st minute was questionable, they still seized the opportunity and ran with it. That was the right way to start. It shows that you have a killer instinct. The Bournemouth defenders tried to slow things down, but Arsenal wouldnt give up. This group really wants to win, and it shows. They know how to make the most of those half-chances, and it will take a lot to stop this progress. Have faith in them, because Arsenal has the drive to do great in these upcoming games
with the way Asenal game ended it shows that the club is fully prepared for the days ahead and at the same time being careful in other not to lose the present position on the table since the season is almost at it height and all clubs most especially the top 3 to 5 clubs being extra careful not to lose any match.

So luckily for Arsenal team were able to win the match which is a big we n for the club even though the goals difference where not much but the winning is the most desirable for most clubs currently and not the amount of goals scored during match.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do casinos require users to verify their identity through a KYC policy? on: May 04, 2024, 01:15:44 PM
I've read a lot of comments in this board stating that a user is required to undergo KYC if their account is suspected of cheating. Can anyone explain how it is necessary related to the subject? A detailed explanation would be better, but everyone's ideas are welcome, as I believe it's worth discussing so gamblers will not be misled regarding this matter, which pops up from time to time.
I will try to be as brief as possible and also straight to the point.

When casinos demand for KYC documents for multiple accounts suspension what their aim at is to eliminate one of those accounts by the use of documents verification because it is no way possible for one person to provide verification for two accounts so therefore when such happens the abuser will be forced to abandoned one of such account.

But in the case where those accounts have been used to cheat and abuse the casino bonus system it may lead to further action even if the gambler provide KYC documents.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do some people hide to gamble on: May 03, 2024, 10:08:19 PM
Alot of activities are ban in some places and for that gambling can be subject to some form of regulation and ban in some places which makes it hard for that that endurg in it to his to do so, also there is high public criticism about gambling and some gambler's are term irresponsible so for that many Gambler's will not want to have a public display of the pleasure for gambling.
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My Thanks To All forum members on: May 03, 2024, 08:42:24 PM

7  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1xbit violated self exclusion terms, do not want to help on: May 03, 2024, 08:32:18 PM
They would have got into trouble with any platform without making research about them and to later find out that such could be tabled down here and discussed, they are doing the first thing that would have been done earlies at the last while the last at first, everyone will be responsible for every of his actions or inactions, because by now, we should know that there is a need to making findings about the credibility of any gambling platform before using such.
With the high rate of newbies being those that make complains a d accusations against 1xbit here in the forum, is shows the level at which those newbies have failed to study and research about the nature of operations of 1xbits before they jump into depositing or even playing on the casinos.

At least any old member who have spent at least a year here in the forum should be able to have come across cases of how 1xbits have scammed the clients in the past so the chances of making the big mistake of playing on 1xbit is very low.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think gambling every day is better? on: May 02, 2024, 11:32:33 PM
There is a very high risk if we play gambling every day because the game is very difficult to make a profit but it is very easy to spend money quickly. and there, if the gambler is not equipped with a good understanding of good control, the gambler will really regret it in the end because of course he often makes many mistakes that exceed the limits of his abilities.
The high risks will comes to us when we can't controls ourselves in gambling and use too much money because we will wants to wins the games and while we have much money in our balance, we don't thinks mu about the lose that we can gets. That will difficult to us because we will lose all of the money if we don't control it and we don't have a chance to wins easily in gambling. So we don't have to playing gambling every day as we have to make a schedule when we can playing gambling and that means, we only playing gambling when we have a spare time. We don't have to regret with the lose in gambling because that's the risks that we can gets and the only things that we can do is just to prevents the big lose. If you can limits your gambling activity and the money and the time, you will not lose much money and you can enjoy your gambling activity.

It is very true that what you said is that when a gambler cannot control himself when playing, he will definitely face big risks due to the impact of gambling. And the gambler behaves like that on the basis of wanting to win a lot so he forgets control when playing.
Yes, if we can apply self-control regarding time and cost limits then we will not experience these high risks, in fact we will have fun when gambling because we can prevent these risks as early as possible.
Excesive gambling will always leads to bad experience and impact of gambling that is why gambling on daily basis should be discouraged and once you win some that can cover your next few bet on separate days you should take a break at that point then return when your head have cleared up from the impact of gambling, that is the only way to minimise your loses and at some time increase your profiting from gambling that is when you are gambling for the money.

Secondly when you are gambling for fun, that point even though you lose you can still continue since your ultimate goal is to have fun and not make income from the winning.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Buy a Bonus VS playing Slot on normal Spin - which do you prefer? on: May 02, 2024, 10:38:21 PM
I don't buy a bonus spin. For me, it's too expensive. Worst, it can be addictive.
What I see as the worst of it is that the gambling sites have house edge in one way or the other. If you use bonus buy or playing without using bonus buy, it is most likely that your money is going to those gambling sites. Gambling is just for fun and not should be seen as a way to make money. If a gambler is having money that he can afford to lose for bonus buy, he can go for it. I am not using bonus buy and I gamble just with little amount of money.
I think regardless of the method of Play either buy bonus or not, you have to depend largely on your luck to be able to win, just as act have rightly said gambling should be for fun and nothing else so when you win some amount you have to appreciate your luck and seize from playing instead being desperate to have a big win.

Your profiting and is in your ability to take off the money from the casino and stopping for a while instead of pushing for more win that will eventually lead you to lose the amount you already won.
10  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1xbit violated self exclusion terms, do not want to help on: May 02, 2024, 10:10:42 PM
Likely for you, your case is just on self exclusion and nothing else, we have many gambler's who have made complaints about this casino that the scam them by taking their money and blocking the accounts without any justifiable reasons.

So for that you need to know that 1xbits will never give you what you requested for since it means you about to stop depositing on the casino so their won't be Chances for them to scam you in the future since their are selectively scamming their clients.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use profits from the crypto market? on: May 02, 2024, 09:51:22 PM
I have long term goal for my cryptocurrency investment and to this point I haven't taken any significant profits to make something out of it for now, by I have a plan for my potential profits which is to use it t to invest into other assets that are of importance and diversifying enough like real estate or buying Gold's and Still continue in my cryptocurrency holding for another possible profits.

But it a bit risky to reinvest your profits back into buying other coins from the one you made the profits from, I have seen some investors making such mistakes and I think it not a wise financial decisions.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CZ Sentenced, Your Bitcoin in their Custody on: May 02, 2024, 08:28:35 PM
Despite the mix-up of things from the ops, let me make a point for what I understand from this thread which is about CZ sentence and it effects on those using binance, the truth is that CZ already resigned from the COE seat of the exchange and the crime he is sentenced for is way back and not recently.

So the exchange have nothing to lose and those that use binance won't lose custody of they bitcoin holdings on the exchange because of his sentence.
13  Economy / Gambling / Re: More revelations on the challenges of physical casinos on: May 01, 2024, 10:22:39 PM
Severally sport bettors have faced this kind of challenge when they win big amount, because at the point of winning the Gambling agent may become very greedy to want to play a smart one of the gambler, but at the end of the day if the ticket can be presented to the head quarter of the casino, heay get settled from there on.

This case have happened to many people before and that may be the reason why most of the sport betting platforms always place limits to how much a betting agent can handle in term of payout of gambling winnings, because that will help them to eliminate such scam attempt from the betting agent.

15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stopping the curse of losing streak? on: April 30, 2024, 09:38:48 PM

but the decision making  is what important here , because even how the statistics says and the outcome yet it is the players decision to how long the chasing will turn into.
the more you know how to deal with gambling is the more you will gain from  it , try not to become addicted and of course never become greedy .
I was going so heavily on gambling and even when I lose I feel that I will win and recover with the next bet, and trying to reach that next bet always lead me to more loses, the outcome made me feel so bad and depressed at some point and it becomes a case of early addiction so best thing for me then is to quite totally.

I was so lucky that I was able to control my emotions at that point and being able to make it out and now I control how and when I bet and gambling is not carrying my attention away anymore.

Being able to control our gambling actions and how we react to things when it happens while gambling is very important to our safe stay in the gambling community the inability to control our gambling urge also leads to addictions so control is very important and necessary.
16  Other / Off-topic / Re: Be cautious of Account Hacked on social medias on: April 30, 2024, 09:30:47 PM
Aside from the true that we should take precautions and stay update about on our security we have to worry also the possibility of this high profile accounts that are already hacked since those hackers have aim to scam unsuspecting customers of those platforms since all of the hacked x accounts belong to big firms and companies who have large customers based so the gullible ones may still likely fall victim for the hackers.

Using 2FA is sure the most secured way to keep your accounts from possible intruders attacks, and also offline password manager can still be used to safe your password, but then after all the security cancusness of one doesn't protect they device you can still get exposed.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Management on: April 30, 2024, 07:48:17 PM
I do multi-bets and single-bets, every time I win, sometimes I forget myself and use all my $$ on the next bet. This sometimes gives me big wins, but if I'm unlucky I can lose all my funds and this has happened many times.
This means that you are greedy. Do not mind me that I said that. I was like this before. I can win 10x and still continue to bet with the total money that I have and my winning together on a single bet. I even remember a time that I bet like $1 up to when I won $35 and I lost all at ones. It is called greediness and it happens to addicted gamblers. You will need to stop that because you are chasing money and not fun.
There should be a limit to how far you go when gambling most especially when you get lucky to win your First games, this is very important in other to save your winning and even your deposits, because regardless of how much you deposit into you account if you continue to bet along your line of greed you tend to lose almost everything because at that stance there is no amount that can satisfy you since you already have a jackpot in mind.

18  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 2030 Assumptions on: April 30, 2024, 07:25:30 PM
Since you said assumptions that makes you right in asking this question of what the price of bitcoin will be in 2030, it is significantly important to note that bitcoin price is almost impossible to predict so for that making assumptions on the price of bitcoin becomes impossible also but we can just speculate a bit.

In 20230 I believe bitcoin will be above $100k since at the moment we have gone above the level that can keep bitcoin below half of 100k since 2030 still have one halving cycle if that is combined with what the just achieve halving will bring along to the price of bitcoin, I am sure no matter what the level of corrections and volitilities we should be above $100k by that time.
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Does it mean the poor can't breath anymore? on: April 30, 2024, 03:48:27 PM
People here don't have problem with new people that are asking genuine newbie questions (on the contrary) but are sick of fake newbies that make majority of those kind of merit fishing threads, hence you can sometime see them being more hostile.

Ops is a good example of such newbies who make the presence of the genuine newbies almost impossible to notice, and beginner and help section being flooded with fake thread and formulated lies which can be spotted from a distance.

No one have problems with newbies, and besides again why should the ops refer to newbies as poor in the topic title it already shows how low he have degenerated newbies so let start from there.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An interesting story and experience of a gambler on: April 29, 2024, 08:59:56 PM
That person is definitely a degenerate gambler, I don't think that he's addicted to buying stuff that he don't needs though, it's more like he doesn't really know how to use the money wisely, it's natural though since gambling addicts are financially irresponsible so it's not surprising that they're doing this just so they can satisfy those temporary cravings and gratifications. I must say though, I think that this person needs to be looking on the bright side of things, he helped his mom and donated to some charity and those stuff that he's bought, he can probably sell it to a profit. The best that this person can do is probably seek professional help because basing from the post, my conclusion is that this man is a gambling addict through and through and no way that you can live your life struggling with that addiction if you know that those activities are self-destructive to you as a person.
The line between greed and addiction is almost same but then when we talk about gambling addiction, it has a wider conceptual meaning and that separates it from greed driven partially, most of the times, those gambling addicts can spend axcess money without their knowledge so if they are greedy they won't be spending such an amount without cautions.

But at the bottom of it all is that gambling addictions have alot of negative impact on the individual regardless of they greed level, that is why we need to do everything possible to stay free from getting into addiction in the first place.
