When are your conversion ticker coming out of development?
As stated on

I could use something like
https://www.cryptonator.com/api/convert_to/usd?doge=962887&btc=0.568931&ltc=56.302736&nmc=237.56389&ppc=274.375
for converting a full portfolio to us dollars.

Well, I don't know exactly how it happed.
I did make the mistake to leave my bitcoins on the bitcoin7 account. (I was waiting for the client to get wallet encryption)
Well, I am pretty sure that my computer was not hacked.

One way could be for the hacker to bribe or threaten an bitcoin7 employee to give him a database dump of the password hashes. Then run a cracking program on them to one or more was cracked.

@Stephen Gornick
Is there a list of exchange with multi-factor authentication ?

11  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Please help me solve the problem of trust on: July 25, 2011, 07:22:33 PM
I clearly think that ripple is the way to go !

In a ripple based system you clearly indicate how many BTC you trust your friends with and
then those friend can use your trust as a line of credit.
(This might also make the bitcoin economy take of.)

I don't think a number between 0 and 1 will work because what does it mean ?
Would 0.254 mean that you friend is good for 10 BTC, 100 BTC or 1000 BTC ?

Learn about ripple based systems here.

Hey, you're a physicist.  Can you tell me how gravity works Wink?

When studing real phenomens you can never be sure that you model gives the correct explanation,
you can only see if your experiment and observation agrees or disagrees with you model.

So, Science can never be sure how gravity works,
but can only present you with models for how it might work.

What I find interresing is studing many diffrent models to get as many perspectives on gravity af possible.

Ofcouse most have hear about Newtons and Einstiens model for gravity.
But I think that there is a close connection between electrodynamics, quantum fields and  gravity.
(But this comment is to short to contain the full explanation).

But I will give you some links to other perspectives that I find interesting.

@WorldClassFissticuffs No, my parents don't pay my electricity but me and a friend is working to set up at mining pool at our local hacker space.

@Oldminer: yes. bitcoins would be a good birthday present.  I believe that paypal become big by giving out money. If someone made a service where you could send bitcoins to other people even if they didn't have a bitcoin account.

Hi.

I am a physicist and a programmer.

I discovered bitcoin 3 weeks ago and I think it is the greatest invention ever made,
and it will serve as a great example for future money systems.
