For I know, the most stable coins is not exist. Even though the USDT and QC( USDT is equal to US dollar, QC equal to China RMB). This is a investment market, so the absolutely stable is hard to maintain.
Stable coin is a term used in cryptocurrencies meant to hold stable values. For example, Tehter (USDT) is a block chain based asset meant to trade for $1 (USD). It is a "Price-stable cryptocurrency." I agree with you. I was also wondering if there is any other usage of stablecoins such as blockchain representation of fiat, not only "price-stable cryptocurrency" but also value preservation. I did not expect a stable coin in this market, when I joined I was aware of that. And here is where I can make quick money, even USDT can not stabilize if a day like the Wex USD |

In my opinion, people are afraid that this market won't develop anymore and there is a lot of scam ICO projects going on.

Ethereum should be careful with that spot. Because Ripple is another top project with very good partnerships. Ethereum on the other hand has been under huge criticism lately. XRP first tasted the second spot last year followed by it exceptional growth. I think that If Ethereum does fixes it current limitations /issues, XRP might make that move permanent.

It is a good choice for those who have long invested and knowledgeable in this market. softcap is the minimum fund needed to function the project and hardcap is the maximum fund that can be invested in the project. if the project has reached softcap, this is a good start because to achieve hardcap it must be easier even though it also takes time, and when softcap is not achieved, of course to achieve hardcap will be more difficult

 With your 500$ capital, it's better to invest it directly to cryptos listed already in the market rather than investing it on an ICO that doubles the risk of your money. Although there are legit and promising ICOs out there, it's hard to spot them too so for lesser risk, it's better to invest it in major cryptos with cheap price.
It's hard not to think that you can not find it, I think what's hard is to make a lot of money from them
