Brilliant way to reduce processing power down to iOS level. Is your "edit" of the UI open-source as well?  Grin

The UI program codes are going to be open source after apple's review.
However, I don't have copyright on the UI elements, including icons, background pictures, etc. I am asking their author Pottor200, see if it's OK to be open source. And that part has not been decided yet.

Awesome and wish you all the best with App Store review.

My son loves to watch this movie about 3 times a day...

Grin Yeah, Pixar flicks are great classics. I bought this movie as soon as it came out but got another copy as a gift from someone who knows I can't get over cartoons.

I have a 16 GB iPod Touch 1st Gen for sale. Has my name engraved on the back. Anyone interested? Fully functional, no issues. Well kept.
Depends on what your name is. Cheesy

Hahaha!  Grin Grin Certainly not Night Wolf. Wish it was... Why! Why did my Uncle & Aunt have to engrave their love!  Embarrassed Perhaps you can put a sticker on my name? ROFL.
I was thinking about just using a cover.
I've got enough Apple products (2x iPod Classic (6th Gen.) 80GB, iPhone 3Gs 8GB, 4x (2x working) iPod Shuffles 1st Gen., 1x iPod Shuffles 2nd Gen.), so I probably wouldn't be buying anymore xD

No worries mate!

If anyone's still interested, it's available! My price 3 BTC (free postage within Australia).

11  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: We need a predictions market for bitcoin on: July 27, 2011, 06:49:01 AM
Buy Low. Sell High. There's a tip for ya! Grin

In all seriousness, predicting BTC trends could be tricky. It's difficult even define what "liquidity" means for BTC. In normal currency terms, if a single entity is stopping major transactions, or trying to pump the market with a whack of cash, they are either holding up or intentionally interfering to create or destroy liquidity (sort of a dirty float). Reserve Banks of countries play this game a lot (esp. emerging markets). And trader expectations are tipped well ahead -- so the market prepares for it.

This cannot be done with BTC because we don't know where the vast majority of cash is trapped? Perhaps blockexplorer.com can pull off such a feat or MtGox? How are total number of BTCs in circulation tracked? And if necessary, can the tracking infrastructure estimate where major pools of BTC cash exist? That's the key for liquidity, and consequently, market prediction/direction.
12  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Why only BitcoinJ? on: July 27, 2011, 06:46:10 AM
There's also libbitcoin, which aims to rewrite bitcoin, make it super-pluggable, very easy to do and hack everything at every level, and very configurable:
http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=30646.0
https://gitorious.org/libbitcoin/libbitcoin

And don't forget justmoon's javascript bitcoin which is based off of BitcoinJ:
https://github.com/justmoon/node-bitcoin-p2p/

So can libbitcoin be plugged into iOS? Sorry for sounding like a n00b. Clearly, BitCoinJ can't be easily integrated in XCode. I heard C# lib can be linked into XCode but didn't come across any stackoverflow suggestions that show examples of it.

Wish I fell into that income bracket, Mate! Haha! {sigh dollar dreams}

Unfortunately no but yes, a very high progressive tax. And also the income tax law down under doesn't allow us to claim much in tax returns (mortage interest charge, transport to/fro work - all claimable stateside apparently). And we pay 3x the nominal price for imports. No price adjustments yet despite the powerful dollar.

 Cry Cry Cry

Better than Denmark and Cuba (50%). We'd match 'em if we worked for a 2nd job over weekends. That'll be taxed @ 50% for sure.

Imagine getting yar wage paid in BTC. Drooool!  Grin

Oh right. That's pretty cool. Actually didn't know that's possible. Thanks for the tip!  Grin
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I get paid? on: July 27, 2011, 02:06:20 AM
They charge no fee on Personal Payments on Paypal.

By sending yourself a gift, you mean to same email or what?

Um, perhaps my lack of knowledge but what classifies as a personal payment?
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I get paid? on: July 27, 2011, 01:19:50 AM
Structurally Paypal is not bad (few services channel funds in such a global way) but their fees for receiving funds is 2.5% of amount. Withdrawl of anything < 150 is again a %. Painful.

Also eBay's guarantee of insurance for not delivered goods is some what of a scam. Took me 4 weeks and constant battle with "work-from-home" paypal employees eating cereal in a Canadian kitchen to get half of my funds back. Finally complained to my CC company and they toasted PP's behind by reversing full amount under the category "fraudulent charge to customer"  Grin

Caveat emptor has a new meaning now days.  Grin

they don't charge fees when you send as a gift.

Really?  Huh Oh! Learnt something new then. Haha! Thanks mate! Can you send as a gift to...yourself?
