Care to elaborate further ?

I am always looking to help others by freeing myself of bitcoins.

I have never been made aware of that, although I am Canadian.
185  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Discussion about 10,000BTC Bet (Official) on: September 09, 2012, 01:08:04 AM

I'm surprised all those people lost money and no one has the FBI on pirates tail...it's a crime across many state borders I'm sure!

There's no point. The court of Bitcointalk.org will take care of it.  Roll Eyes

Bitcoin is imaginary World of Warcraft Gold...remember ?
186  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Discussion about 10,000BTC Bet (Official) on: September 09, 2012, 12:56:29 AM
Ah. A new strategy. I am almost certain that the constant barrage of insults and such will force him to stick around here and pay everyone.

I love the tactics. Keep them up Wink
187  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Relative Trust of Bitcoin Exchanges on: September 09, 2012, 12:51:20 AM
I use BTC-e. I trust them 100%.
https://btc-e.com

I have never had a problem there and I actually fucked up, sending a shitload of BTC to a NMC address (thanks Window's Clipboard) and they were able to send them to the right place for me in the end.
They saved my butt and I am always grateful for that.

Their security is also top notch. I like the email confirmation for withdrawals as well.
(transfers out of the exchange are frozen till you get a confirmation email and click the confirmation link etc. Email address can not be changed)

Yeah, It's funny that Majority of people who havent carried ammo before, jsut forget or flatout dont know how damn heavy ammo is throughout the day...

Thats one of the primary reasons i prefer the 5.56mm, That and well, Less chance of an unwanted casualty. I sometimes consider the 7.62's to be Overkill, But hey, Im never shooting at kevlar targets... soo.. Yeah...

Exactly.
.223 definitely helps to solve alot of problems in terms of being a happy medium for carry/kill power etc.

This question/poll overall doesn't really help to prove anything though.

My favorite battle rifle has far more to do with the round it chambers, than the overall rifle itself. I am a sucker for 7.6x51/.308 for anything over 50 yards.
Inside of 50 yards, I would simply carry a submachine gun that shared a round with my pistol.

I would only need 2 rounds to fight....lol. I just would stock up on 7.62x51/.308 for my long and medium range rifles and 45cal for my 1911s and submachine guns Wink

If Matthew loses his bet, he needs to MAKE PEOPLE PROVE THAT THEY HAVE BITCOINS, IN THE AMOUNT OF THEIR BET....otherwise, the bet for THAT person should be VOID.

So now on top of admitting to lying for Matthew in that one possible scenario you want to play the referee in the outcome of bets? Sorry that wasn't part of the agreement. If he loses he pays. If betters lose they pay him. Simple as that.

Matthew offered to take a 2500 BTC bet from me (my Pirate account, at the time). I DIDN'T BET BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE IT.
191  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Discussion about 10,000BTC Bet (Official) on: September 09, 2012, 12:23:11 AM
Would people in this community REALLY bet what they don't have ?

I would guess that over 50% of the bets CAN NOT be paid by the people that made them.

Well, so be it.

I for one would LOVE to see everyone's bet money, waiting to pay Matthew.
I would also LOVE to see who has WHAT at stake, out of everyone commenting here.

Most of the people that took the bet with Matthew couldn't pay on the spot, even if they wanted to.

Most of the outspoken people, on the Pirate situation, don't even have an iron in the Pirate Fire......

PATHETIC.
194  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Discussion about 10,000BTC Bet (Official) on: September 09, 2012, 12:14:03 AM
No one made him do it. He chose to.

Plus by your own admission you just said you would lie to help Matthew win the bet if everyone else got paid out.

Not a good thing by my book and the rules of the bet that is in place. Not very honorable.

As I said, Matthew chose to make this bet. No one forced him.

At this point, if people think of me not in an honorable light, then so be it. THAT is par for the course around here. Flip/Flop.
I know what I know and have nothing left to prove to anyone.

Matthew underestimated Pirate's disdain for me.

195  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Discussion about 10,000BTC Bet (Official) on: September 09, 2012, 12:11:25 AM
He supported and defended the largest scam in bitcoin's history.

What does he deserve?...

He NEVER supported anything other than telling people to PUT UP or SHUT UP.
196  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Thank you, Bitlane. on: September 09, 2012, 12:10:30 AM
Thank you bitlane. Good job.

I deserve no thanking. I deserve nothing. I deserve to get re-paid.

I came to terms with what I have lost, faith being one of them and I 'put my money' where my mouth was.

There were too many people that stood to lose far more than me and they were shackled by fear and were forced to remain silent.
I simply said fuck it.

No where did I LIE. No where did I post libelous commentary. I posted 100% truth, which can be far more damaging in this situation than lies anyway.

I hope to be paid. I hope others that have far more to lose, get paid more so.
197  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Discussion about 10,000BTC Bet (Official) on: September 09, 2012, 12:06:43 AM
I honestly feel bad for Matthew.

I understand what he was trying to accomplish with this, but I fear that it is blowing up in his face. I commend him for trying to shut everyone up, but he ends up carrying the flag alone.

If it comes down to everyone getting paid except for me, I would have strong reservations in regards to telling the truth about me being paid, rather, out-right lying to protect Matthew.
He is putting TOO MUCH on the line for simply ideals.

I respect Matthew, but he doesn't deserve this.

Could someone please tell me exactly what the message TO ME was ?
199  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which is the BEST military rifle? on: September 08, 2012, 11:54:01 PM
I don't think I have ever seen a 7.62 M1? As far as I know they have always been 30.06, the M-14 was the first rifle to go to standardized NATO 7.62, right?

I've seen an aftermarket conversion.

No, not aftermarket. 30.06 was difficult to carry enough ammo. 3.08/752x51 solved this, without taking too much power away.

30.06 vs .308/7.62x51/7.62 NATO is huge, in terms of a soldier's carry capabilities....

200  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which is the BEST military rifle? on: September 08, 2012, 11:46:35 PM
Original M1 chambering 30.06 ..... or M14 w/7.62x51 (7.62 NATO).

Everyone can keep their AK-47s.....

No vote for the M1 Garand? I am confused, why comment but not vote?

Because there are a bunch of Internet Kids under the impression that the M1 was a 7.62x51 Rifle....I SAID ORIGINAL M1.

<EDIT>

The Choices should be edited to read:

- M1 @ 30.06
- M1/M14 @ 7.62x51
