501  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Its Official Pirate Has Defaulted!! on: August 29, 2012, 04:44:27 PM

 Roll Eyes

Tom, that's looking a bit threatening Wink
I hope that man in the photo is not threatening any type of violence by flexing his gun(s).....
502  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Its Official Pirate Has Defaulted!! on: August 29, 2012, 04:43:04 PM
Exactly... costly in terms of reputation for all involved. Would you trust anyone who gave pirateat40 a rating > 1?

Guilt by association.

I wouldn't go THAT far. The current influx of new ratings clearly show a timeline, so I fail to see how IF he was trustworthy in May, that you could hold it against a user in August.
503  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is BTCTS (Pirate) considered to be in default? on: August 29, 2012, 04:33:35 PM
I suggest that someone who doesn't get paid in full, principal and interest up to yesterday, only accepts partial payment if any income he makes deriving from this matter, (books, movies, interviews, whatever) goes towards the repayment of the amount still owed.

I will ONLY accept what I am owed, as per my account balance plus interest.

I have already come to terms with what could be.....so all he needs to do is 'roll the dice' on his end and try his luck.
504  Economy / Securities / Re: (GLBSE) TYGRR.BOND-P 4.85% weekly uninsured pass though bond to BTCST on: August 29, 2012, 04:28:57 PM
Personally, I trust Goat *WAY* more than Pirate, but if Pirate really wants/needs proof from the bond-holders themselves, I see no reason why he can't just set up an account himself and say "Ok anybody who wants their payout, send your shares of XXXXX bond to pirate_deposits and you'll receive .XXXX BTC per share".  Problem solved, and you circumvent Nefario and Goat all together.

OR, Pirate can simply set up his own BID Wall and tell everyone to dump. He doesn't need anyone's info.

Goat, Nefario and anyone else showing Pirate just the slightest bit of resistance to his crap should be rewarded, not kicked in public.

THEY ARE PROTECTING THEIR CUSTOMERS.
505  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is BTCTS (Pirate) considered to be in default? on: August 29, 2012, 04:24:43 PM
I am holding out for Week#69. My BTC Account will be worth a small fortune.
506  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Its Official Pirate Has Defaulted!! on: August 29, 2012, 04:23:17 PM
I'll put my money on, it was a planned scare the entire time...

That would be one epic troll, and costly in terms of reputation for all involved.

LOL it;s a sliding scale from 10 to -10

Well, at least Phraust had a good transaction experience with Trendon on 2012-08-21 02:37:38 while the rest of us were getting NOTHING. He even gave a '10' rating.
Good for him...
507  Economy / Securities / Re: (GLBSE) TYGRR.BOND-P 4.85% weekly uninsured pass though bond to BTCST on: August 29, 2012, 02:27:03 PM
GLBSE is completely legal, I don't know what part of the world you're from, but here in the UK something has to be forbidden or outlawed to become illegal, everything that is not... is legal.

as a financial service provider who offer his services to the public you need to be registered.

you can make a small club and offer glbse there - would be completly legal.

(i dont really care if you do or dont, i just was amused that you said you wont disclouse this data because of the law)

This is why Bitcoin NEEDS a Legal Classification. People around here like to think that they can have it BOTH ways.

In terms of Pirate, everyone yells "have fun trying to call the cops and get back your imaginary math money"

Yet, in the case of the GLBSE, Nefario is a FINANCIAL SERVICE PROVIDER ? (GLBSE takes cash deposits now ?)

Which is it ? It MUST be either 1 or the other.
508  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: [BitcoinMax.com] Closing down on: August 29, 2012, 02:21:02 PM
Maybe pirate just wants the subaccounts to receive their payout at the exact same time as everyone else so that if there is a massive sell-off of BTC they don't miss out on the opportunity to sell.

Right...because he's ALL ABOUT timing and caring about his Investors, once he has what he wants....
509  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Its Official Pirate Has Defaulted!! on: August 29, 2012, 02:11:51 PM
No worries at all man.....it was well worth the 2 BTC

So is this info implying Pirate was using investor coin to pay-out GPUmax operators?  I cannot say this surprised me one bit.....I have suspected it for a while.

He attempts to justify IT by citing SECURITY being the reason for the wallet share, when in fact he was using alleged SCAM funds to feed a 'Legit Business' which implicates IT in the process if he does not pay EVERYTHING that he originally agreed to.

PS. Feel free to follow some of the outputs to GPUMAX miner payouts........(Legit Biz & Scam Money Combined ? that UNpossible)

I'm not sure what you're getting at here, bitlane. Pirate stated ages ago that GPUMAX and BS&T shared a bitcoin wallet:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=91661.msg1026140#msg1026140

Not LEGALLY.....as 1 is a Texas State Registered LLC and the other was a SCAM.

He can say whatever he wants to try and justify it, but the blockchain shows everything plain in black and white.

He mixed SCAM funds with his Legitimate LLC, pretty much offering up the LLC on the table in case of bankruptcy, as previously unavailable if kept seperate.

Illicit funds can not be used to support a legit business (without implicating it in the 'case)....and you don't have to be Perry Mason to figure THAT out.
511  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Its Official Pirate Has Defaulted!! on: August 29, 2012, 01:48:27 PM
So let me get this straight.....Pirate has defaulted ?

I really wish someone could have warned me. I thought this was a helpful community.

I am devastated that our bromance is over already Bitlane.....I thought we had something special......

I truly am sorry...

Of course you have to defend the obvious ponzi system, because you invested in it. That's a constraint, I feel so sorry for you. Run to the officials, I will ignore you.

Yes. I am a HUGE defender of Pirate and his Scam. Just look around  Roll Eyes

Nice to see 2 WELL INFORMED POSTS in a row from you. Atta Boy.
518  Economy / Securities / Re: (GLBSE) TYGRR.BOND-P 4.85% weekly uninsured pass though bond to BTCST on: August 29, 2012, 12:58:45 PM
Regarding giving the information of asset holders to pirate (for whatever reason he requested it), is not happening, even if goat wanted to comply (which of course he does not, and he's right not to) I would refuse. Not only is it violating the TOS that GLBSE operates under but would cause us to violate the data protection act (as I'm based in the UK).

Pirate has no contract contact or deal with GLBSE asset holders, only with Goat, as pirate has expressly pointed out to me before when I asked him about it, and I believe he made the same point in a forum post somewhere, anyone care to look it up?

Very nice.
519  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Its Official Pirate Has Defaulted!! on: August 29, 2012, 12:40:16 PM
A contract is a contract, even if it does say 3300% interest.
In the real world this interest is no problem: simply print more money. But in the Bitcoin world, you know, it can resist only for some time. So this contract is invalid.

At some time I red, pirate could change his interest, so in my opinion he did not default:
...
+7%
+7%
+7%
-100%

All fine, or not?

You better read whatever you read, once more to be sure.
The rest of us already know, as we HAVE actually read certain contract terms, but feel free to post more SHIT.

Maybe but I'm not so sure. He has a house that can be seized.

ESPECIALLY if he used ANY of his ill-gotten funds to make a mortgage payment. I can only PRAY that we are so lucky.
