Depends whwre you are. I got mine in the UK from "KustomPCs". 160w pico. Got a 6pin to 8pinEPS adaptor coming woth a pigtail attached to power the pico and the mobo from a 6pin cable off my server psu.
Did you get the pig tail from them also ?, i ordered a pico from ebay but i'm still looking for the pig tail Check your PM. |

Please note: I had a very unfortunate incident today in which my commercial space was completely flooded due to the gross negligence of a tenant above me. Losses are significant, I have spent all day moving my inventory off-site and salvaging what I could. Update:
Still replying to PM's as quickly as possible. My stock order was delayed by a week due to yet another Chinese Holiday, everything is expected back in stock by the end of next week. I will be filling back-orders as quickly as possible and then start taking new orders again. No new orders will be able to be shipped out until June 12th at this time.

hey fin can you make a 6pin pcie convert to a 8pin pcie? i have a video card i want to run on a server powersupply with a 6pin ... but the card is a 8pin... if it helps its a amd rx480 strix edition
This is what the 6+2pin PCIe splitters accomplish, they take a standard 6-pin PCIe cable and turn it into 2x 6+2pin PCIe cables for powering GPU's. Still replying to PM's |

Bumping this up. 4K PSU's are not currently available until supply of DPS-2000BB PSU's are reliably available again. Take advantage of the beast IBM 2880W-ers! For GPU rigs, these can power up to 3x rigs with 6-GPU's per rig (or 2x rigs with up to 9x GPU's per rig).

DPS-2000BB PSU's are out of stock and unavailable to me at the moment, so PSU packages are only available without PSU's for this time. I still have many IBM 2880W PSU's in stock, and can use them for GPU packages as well.
To answer your question, 4250W at the wall at a 90% efficiency is only 3825W DC, or 95.6% load. It is heavy, but with sufficient cooling it can work. Heavier loads can impact PSU longevity, but unfortunately with these PSU's there doesn't seem to be any consistency in what that load is and if/when they will fail. I have seen many of these PSU's run at over 100% load for extended period of time with adequate cooling, and I have seen them fail under moderate loads for no reason.

Can the GPU and associated riser be powered from a single PCI-E lead off the PSU, with a splitter at the end? Or do you need to run an independent PCI-E cable for the riser? My GPUs would be power limited to 125W which should be within the rating for the 16AWG cable.

The splitter cables and single 16awg PCIe cable are more than sufficient to power a single riser and GPU together, that is the way these packages are designed to be setup. The PCIe cables are rated and have been tested to over 250W, and the splitters are made of 18awg cable for each circuit, so there are no concerns about power draw from GPU's at this time. |

Got some components back in stock, taking orders again. Full re-stock in about 2 weeks still, but will fill orders as I can and let you all know when I'm out.

i have a 240v 30a circuit that isn't being used, but is wired for a dryer. I have an electrician coming to convert it so i can power an a741/apw3 and t9/apw3, 2 apw3 total.
what power cable do you guys use for this PSU?
what would be the simplest outlet/approach to instruct the electrician for conversion?
You would be best served by grabbing a cheap 30A PDU and just replacing the plug on the PDU for the matching dryer plug ignoring the neutral (so you don't have to change the existing receptacle at all). If you bring the PDU into a hardware store, they might even help you change the plug if you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself. That way you're not limited to just 1 APW3 PSU, you can expand down the road if you decide to, and when you unplug the PDU the receptacle is still available for use with a dryer. |

I can ship to the EU, but shipping cables/PSU's is very heavy and VERY expensive from here in Canada. People have had more success sourcing their own PSU's at least and purchasing the rest from me. Keep trying to contact J4bberwock as well, he is based out of EU and this is his board design.
