201  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 17.2TH/s, 1570W Innosilicon announces the most powerful and efficient BTC Miner on: September 01, 2018, 12:40:55 PM
How many of these have sold so far?

AFAIK, Inno has not published any sales numbers..
202  Economy / Computer hardware / [locked..] Hotmine X5 3.3 Th/s Bitcoin (SHA-256) miner, faulty control board/BB on: September 01, 2018, 11:16:24 AM
EDIT: This has now been given away to a local guy. This thread is now closed and locked.

Hello guys,

I'm giving away this Hotmine X5 miner.

Hash boards are in working condition.

Hotmine guys have tested the control board (red pcb) and they said it is ok.
So most likely you only need a new Beaglebone Black board (black pcb).
But I'm giving this away as a broken device.

I'm located in Finland (EU area).

I'm only asking the shipping cost as a price for this.

I can’t even get to the Hashboard , can’t access the reset button
I think you mean dashboard. He was not talking about the reset button in the software.

He was talking about this reset button:

206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Fusion Silicon L61 - 860 Mh/s, 1160 W Litecoin miner on: August 30, 2018, 03:54:47 PM
Oh yeah.

Just to be clear, for those who don't know: This is kind of a successor for the BW.com BW-L21 Litecoin miner.

But Cassie said thay the design will be completely new and good quality.

I sent Cassie an email quite recently, but I haven't received a reply.

I also noticed some speculation about the hash rate being partly or full fake.  Any thoughts about that?
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: $200 Daily | 200k Sols | Centralized? - AsicMiner.Co Zeon Equihash Miner Review on: August 29, 2018, 05:02:44 PM
Btw I fixed my mistake and watched the whole video.
Thanks for being thorough with AsicMiner,
great vid as always.

Maybe it is time for the tear down now that it is dead?
I wonder if they (AsicMiner) would freak out.
209  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: August 29, 2018, 03:28:05 PM
Ouch.

I know that one of the engineers (maybe more?) left and joined Bitewei company.
And he is doing great job, the Whatsminer M10 is going to be really efficient considering that it is 16nm tech.

It is starting to look bad for the 'S11'.
210  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: One more company joined ASIC miner competition! on: August 29, 2018, 07:54:43 AM
Sound like great, but i'm so sorry that we have no relevant review plans at currently. But when we released the new ASIC miner in Q3-Q4 quarters, we may invite some youtubers to review our products.  Grin

I'm not exactly a YouTuber person, but I always try to make really thorough reviews for the miners, and I have received a lot of positive feedback by doing so. Smiley
211  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New: Bitmains S9 Hydro 18TH ! on: August 28, 2018, 07:14:30 PM
Yeah, I'd like to see some good discussion about this and a new thread is not bad for it.

It is usually quite quiet at the hardware section,
it is nice to see some discussion instead of posts just being removed.

I would actually think about buying one S9Hydro for fun,
it it would not be that expensive.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Fusion Silicon L61 - 860 Mh/s, 1160 W Litecoin miner on: August 28, 2018, 04:59:27 PM
Hello guys,
BW.com miner manufacturing department is now separated and there is a new company called Fusion Silicon. Cassie Cai, who is the director of international affairs for Fusion Silicon, said that the new company is not related to the current BW.com company.

Fusion Silicon has a new Litecoin ASIC chip and a new Litecoin miner coming to the market and that is the main reason I started this new thread.

I have been in talks with Cassie about a possibility to do a miner review,
but it is not sure yet.

Cassie mentioned me earlier that they would launch this new miner this month.

Fusion Silicon L61 - 860 Mh/s, 1160 W Litecoin miner
• Hash rate: 860 Mh/s  +-5%
• Power consumption: 1160W  +  10%  (FS power supply unit –1600 Watt AC/DC efficiency  93
• Power efficiency: 1.349J/MH  +  10%  (Wall AC/DC  efficiency 93
• Nominal voltage: 12  ~  13 VDC
• Case dimension: 340mm  (L)  *  130mm  (W)  *  198mm  (H)
• Weight  (Packaging is inclusive):  xx  kg
• Working temperature: 0℃ ~ 40℃
• Working humidity: 5%RH  ~  95% RH
• Network: Ethernet
• Noise:xx  db 25C) 25℃)

• Method to connect power supply unit:3 PCIE connectors in each hash board are required to connect with power supply unit. It is recommended to use independent power supply unit to supply the miner. Under the circumstances of non-independent power supply,3 hash boards can connect to various PSUs respectively with only one PSU for one hash board and ensuring the hash board to be power on.

Cassie sent me this image and a technical specs data sheet.

Here is the technical specs data sheet: https://mega.nz/#!gkNzlCTA!S1HcDRiALXYXTHNi3n3jYDZqRA9N2zpakfosIYv08oc

For any inquiries, I recommend to contact Cassie Cai (cassie.cai@fusionsilicon.com).
213  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: One more company joined ASIC miner competition! on: August 28, 2018, 03:47:03 PM
Yes, we were a legit GPU mining company for manufacturing series of GPU miners. And now, we are also trying our best to expand our business on ASIC miners, based on our R&D, market and supplier resources.

Very cool.
Would you be interested in a miner review?

I've done quite many of those in the past.

You can see my signature space for reference.

@Vosk

Ah okay, I understand.
Interesting requirement from their end.

Well if it helps, you can see me mumbling and tearing down a AvalonMiner 741 here  Cheesy : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1W_BO1PimlA

216  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Fulijuntuan TITAN 110TH 3200watts 32watts/TH? Real or Not? on: August 27, 2018, 07:32:35 PM
Well it is looking more and more like they are just a shitty scam.

Are those 'red cables' actually red shopping bag handles? Cheesy
At least they look like it. Might also just be sprayed Antminer stuff.
217  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: One more company joined ASIC miner competition! on: August 27, 2018, 03:16:35 PM
This is interesting, we know that Pandaminer is a legit GPU miner manufacturer.

I will keep following this, would like to see some more details. Smiley
218  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Fulijuntuan TITAN 110TH 3200watts 32watts/TH? Real or Not? on: August 27, 2018, 03:13:59 PM
I would do as Phil mentioned, wait and see if someone would get one demo unit. Before that moment I will treat this as a scam attempt.
219  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: August 26, 2018, 01:29:34 PM
I don't get why you are defending their pricing. So what if there are some r&d costs. It still doesn't make any sense to have double price.

And we can't say for sure that there will be a water cooled version for the 'S11'. There was a long pause after the Antminer C1 before we saw this second water cooled miner model from Bitmain.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: $200 Daily | 200k Sols | Centralized? - AsicMiner.Co Zeon Equihash Miner Review on: August 26, 2018, 12:25:17 PM
Vosk, why do you have a affiliate link with company that you don't have detailed experience with?

I do agree that a tear down would be nice.
