2281  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint 16TH/S halongmining.com on: November 23, 2017, 06:57:00 PM
It seems like Jihan Wu, the Bitmain CEO is getting little salty about these miners coming to the market.
If DragonMint would be one of the million scams, I don't see why would there be effort to create this parody website and do the Twitter post.
This Twitter post and the parody website almost seems like a poor discredit attempt.

If someone like Sony, AMD, Intel or Nvidia would start making mining hardware, their mass production quantities would absolutely flood the market. That is something to think about...
2283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Innosilicon A5 DashMaster 30.2G 750W on: November 23, 2017, 03:22:43 PM
I'm still waiting for my A5 to come here to Finland..

It is looking rather bad when it comes to the ROI.
And no rebate in any form at all..

10000 USD was and still is a wrong price for this.
It does not reflect the network situation and making one of these sure does not cost 10k.

This starts to look like my biggest mistake in my mining career.
2284  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Powering an EBIT E9 on: November 23, 2017, 02:34:34 PM
thx for you reply,

but i am talking about the new E9PLUS ...

No offense, but how hard is it to read my previous post above?
2285  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Pangolinminer & Whatsminer FAQs on: November 23, 2017, 10:38:44 AM
I'm in Myanmar.   Where should I buy the miner from.   Seems like Pangolinminer is set up for Western trades
Ask them for more information.

I don't see why they would not sell miners for guys in Myanmar.

Pangolinminer website: https://www.pangolinminer.com
Pangolinminer e-mail: sales@pangolinminer.com
Pangolinminer WeChat ID for Asia region sales: pangolin2017

It's your decision, we can't say whether to do it or not.

Calculate your numbers and give it a good thinking.
2288  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint 16TH/S halongmining.com on: November 22, 2017, 06:00:22 PM
I would be really careful at this stage, but I'm willing to give this a chance.

I have proposed them with a thorough review here at the forum.

Let's see if I'm able to buy a demo unit.  Smiley

Hagssfin, fuzzy, or Phillipma on telegram?

I have proposed this idea to Drak and Adam on telegram as well

I'm on the Telegram, sending you PM now.

2291  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Hotmine X5/X6 upgrade for antminer S5/S3 on: November 22, 2017, 02:33:47 PM
They told me min 60 to the USA.

That still seems somewhat implausible without a farm buying a large number and then selling us extras.

Which actually isn't a terrible idea. Anyone know a farm that has a bunch of S5s that may want to upgrade?

I have understood that allinvain here at the forum would have a lot of S5s that he would like to upgrade.
2292  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: (Review/Guide) WhatsMiner M3 11.5 Th/s, 2000W Bitcoin (SHA-256) ASIC miner on: November 21, 2017, 10:15:36 PM
I'm quite interested in buying one. Is it worth it? Does it give decent profit?

See previous posts.

Philipma1957 has already posted his thoughts about the profit when mining at Nicehash pool.
2293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer D3 Blissz firmware (20/11 update available!) on: November 20, 2017, 11:36:23 PM
Thank you for the mod firmware.
Would it be able to use on L3+?

No.

This firmware has nothing to do with the L3+.
2294  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: November 20, 2017, 09:20:15 PM
Well it is not November 21 yet, which is the first day that November 21-30 batch will ship.

Let's see what is the status tomorrow.  Smiley
2295  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: (Review/Guide) WhatsMiner M3 11.5 Th/s, 2000W Bitcoin (SHA-256) ASIC miner on: November 20, 2017, 09:08:16 PM
@leowonderful
I finally had some time and did a quick disassembly for the miner, took some pictures and then assembled it back together to continue the mining.

I have some close up pictures of the controller board and hash boards.  Smiley

I really like how it looks, seems quite robust to me when it comes to the cooling heat sink solution for example.

2296  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: I'd like to buy 2-3 prebuilt watercooled ASIC miners. They must be watercooled. on: November 19, 2017, 02:01:37 PM
You need to find two or three pieces old used Antminer C1 miners and then buy two or three upgrade board kits from Hotmine.
This is the only straight forward way to have modern watercooled miners, but I agree that this equipment is not easy to find.

This is Antminer C1: http://www.dogiecoin.com/bitmain-antminer-c1.html

This is Hotmine X6 upgrade kit with Bitfury 16nm ASIC chips: http://en.hotmine.io/x5-x6-upgrade-kit-new

When it comes to your opening post, I think you are being way too complicated with it.
I hope this advice makes it easier for you.
2297  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BITMAIN announces Antpool on: November 18, 2017, 12:49:45 PM
They should move their empty blocks mining to BCH and stop harming the Bitcoin network operation.

I just tried to be helpful, nobody is forcing you to use my download link.

I guess it would be better to just remain quiet if somebody is asking for older firmware..
2299  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Can i set an Antminer S1 to plug directly into an outlet? on: November 17, 2017, 06:10:17 PM
I know there is a saying that "there are no stupid questions", but this just might reach to that point that this is a stupid question.
2300  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: November 17, 2017, 05:23:40 PM
How are they shipping the December batch miners before the November batch ones?  Huh

My November 21-30 delivery batch is at the moment showing "unshipped" status.
