When I first read about what Darkcoin did to Dashcoin a couple days ago, I was angry. Since then, I have come to realize that Darkcoin is made up of a bunch of bullies. I HATE bullies. As such, I would like to propose a community takeover of Dashcoin which I will lead. I have a gameplan which will begin with:
1. A formal request for the official twitter account from Darkcoin.
2. A formal request for the dashcoin.net website from Darkcoin.
3. A formal request for access to the official Dashcoin github.
Depending on how they respond will determine my next steps. I assure you I have a strong game plan either way.
We would continue to use this thread for a short time.
I have some coding skills but would likely bring in a friend who is much stronger than me.
We will use all legal means at our disposal if Darkcoin doesn't comply with our requests.
We must fight the bullies that have tampered with and reduced the value and function of our coin.
Any objections?

I should really read the news more often!!! btw that is a really STUPID NAME  What is surprising - the number of Masternodes hasn't fell. I assumed many of the old owners will get the profits - will sell for the benefit of beginners and traders. But it looks like no one is selling DASH,or coins are accumulating by old whales, who immediatly restart new Masternodes with them. Any new name won't satisfy some percentage of older holders - they will sell. At the same time a new wave of people who didn't like the old name Darkcoin (and number of these people is bigger and they are "richer": lol:). The first dropping-buying was 2 weeks ago - right after the announcement. We have all seen the result. The second dropping-buying will now along the same lines, but now with the participation of people who are not closely followed the news. IMHO it will have the same character as the first dropping-buying, but more extended in time ... Will wait and see.  agree, maybe we will be back to 0.0125 before we jump again |

How long before we can forget the parity with BTC and just be concerned with what the fiat/DASH exchange rate is? I've been watching the $US/DASH rate more than anything else because that is a better indication of value for me. BTC has been dropping while DASH increasing. That doesn't always translate to a value gain. Many people here have been talking about the .02 level like it's approaching some record value in the history of DRK/DASH. But the last time DRK/DASH was at the .02 level, BTC was at ~$600 which makes DRK/DASH ~$12 per coin. To attain that same $12 level, at current BTC of ~$260 the BTC/DASH would have to be about .046. The highest BTC/DASH level ever was around .0274 and BTC was around $540.
I get the excitement of where DASH is heading, believe me I'm stoked about it, but .02 doesn't excite me. $15+ would for me be the more exciting event because that would be record breaking grounds. The point where nobody really gave a shit about BTC value in regards to DASH would be the big day.

it is only change the name, not tech and everything, everything still same as darkcoin I know, but the site is gone before the change... So was it removed or is it undergoing refurbishment? Is there a market place to sell your stuff for DASH? I am using ebay, but screw the bastard paypal... i think it is in undergoing refurbishment, you will find a larger market soon, just patient... |

Yea, pain my ass. Last night wasn't in a race to buy but waiting for 6 confirms was so painful. Wanted to just purchase some, transfer back to my wallet, and continue my life. Think it was over 1.5 hours to deposit the btc then only moments to buy and transfer the drk back to me. sorry to say this : " i really dont like use btc for trading when i try to use instantx " i hate waiting till one and half hour for depositing my btc.... i am dash addicted now, it is fast and more anonymous then btc... btc is like friendster and myspace and dash is like facebook in socmed industry |
