61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How do you decide on a buy price target? on: June 05, 2023, 04:10:43 PM
Dont put all your money in to 1 or just 2 coin man. Put it separately in to 10 different coin. BRC20 maybe good choice too. Maybe it will be the next big thing for the nezt bullish cycle, everyone ape in to it right now and i saw new BRC20 project every day. And for " how i decide on buy price target " i my self atart buying 10% of my target investment after the coin down 50% in crypto winter / correction phase like now.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Polygon (MATIC) to $20? on: June 04, 2023, 09:53:03 PM
Polygon is so cheap and fast to use for "De-Fi". The sidechain has so much potential to take the world by storm. By taking the security of the main ETH blockchain, Polygon becomes a better choice than competing platforms like Binance Chain and Solana. Yet, the coin (MATIC) is trading below the double-digits. That's surprising to me, considering that the sidechain is quite convenient for day-to-day payments. If you compare fees on Polygon vs Binance Chain, you'll notice the former has the lowest gas fees. All Polygon needs is hype (mainstream demand) and it could soar all the way to the moon.

Do you think Polygon (MATIC) will reach $20 within a year from now? If not, why? What are your predictions for this cryptocurrency? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Smiley

I dont think matic can goes to $20 even in the next bullish cycle. There are so many interesting project like polygon. The 10 billion total coin also whats holding it below $10. Maybe 2030 when matic burn a lot because of its gas fees also with the dollar hyperinflation.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Cardano still a good investment? on: June 04, 2023, 04:24:04 PM
When we enter bull cycle in 2021 i though cardano will made it, and now after i saw their price does not even got any better in 2021. Now there are a lot of better technology in term of smart contract coin. A lot of New powerfull L1 network like avax, solana, polygon, etc... cardano will never beat them. Also there are a lot of eth solution / L2.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SUI TOKEN PRICE SPECULATION on: June 04, 2023, 04:19:34 PM
With 10 billion in total circulation sui price will be very hard to reach $10. To be honest there are a lot of competitor againts it. Let say matic for example. And the game on chain ? It is still far away from the market needs. Also i heard that sui team also got some investment from FTX and the team forced to pay it back. Wont try to fud here.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin is dead, long live ... what? on: June 03, 2023, 06:23:41 PM
Bitcoin is dying, it is not surviving the NFT attack. The mempool is permanently clogged with ordnials, and the developers don't seem to have any resistance plans. Even here, at these forums, there a lot of trolls writing dozens of layers of abstract nonsense in support of ordinals and totally ignoring the fact that normal payments with bitcoin have become impossible, as simple as that.

It's been a few months now, and there are no tiniest signs of recovery. That was it. I'm going to exchange my bitcoins to another cryptocurrency now. Since I am switching currencies anyway, I want to choose a good one, preferably eliminating the other problems bitcoin has (apart from ordinals), and not gaining more problems. I think I'm not the only one here who thinks about the same ideas, so I am creating this thread.

Specifically, for me at least, "a good currency" means the following:

1. Decentralization, at least the same level as bitcoin has.
2. Open-source, preferably with a package available in one of the major linux distributions (this ensures at least some level of information safety).
3. Privacy must be better than bitcoin has. Mixers are a very weak point of bitcoin, making a lot of centralization necessary.
4. A strong anti-NFT position of developers. After switching currencies, I don't want to face the same problem I escaped from.

My own research:

I found 3 popular currencies that (apparently?) meet these criteria, more or less: dash, monero, and zcash. As for open-source, they all have sources available for download, but the only one I found in a major official repo was monero, in debian. On the other hand, monero still looks "beta" in the sense that the version number starts with 0, unlike with dash or zcash.

Speaking of privacy, I see some contradictory information. Sometimes I see claims that monero offers better privacy, sometimes I see claims that monero "mixes" your transaction only with transfers of the same or similar amounts, while zcash "mixes" your transaction with many more others. Does anyone here know better or more precise details?

Speaking of NFT, I could not find any specific information about dash or zcash. Monero seems to resist. It looks like they have limited "the size of tx_extra" (if I understand correctly, this is some kind of "comments" field, and this was what the NFT attackers used against bitcoin) to 1k (https://github.com/monero-project/monero/pull/8733), hoping that this will eliminate NFT.

Any other opinions, advantages, or disadvantages of these 3 currencies?

Its not that bad, i know you are btc maxis but ordinal is good attraction to people who willing to do the NFT thing. Did you see how much marketcap has been stolen from btc to those NFT's chain ? It is more then half of trillion dollar. The other thing about inscription is BRC20. BRC20 will not survive if nobody can upgrade it, because it is still NFT and not fungible like token on smart contract.

67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Polygon (MATIC) to $20? on: March 18, 2023, 12:28:35 AM
The transactions fees cheap because the price also cheap, when the price tpuch $20 the fees will also skyrocket just like another coin. I remember bitcoin and ethereum also very cheap for transactions fees years ago.
The causes of transaction fees going expensive are :
1. The transactions are too much in the blockchain
2. The coin price is going higher
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The market will come back bigger again on: March 17, 2023, 03:32:32 AM
Actually This is not new sight to see since not everytime we can see all pump happening in the market and dumps like this is normal so I think we need to stay cool around then don't get panic since if we freak out then tell that the whole market will die then we cannot earn with this but rather for sure we lose our money due to fud you encounter. The only thing we need at the moment is patience since for sure there's end point on this bearish season we see at the moment.

I agree patience is the key in a bear market, those people who want to get a profit fast do not last long in a bear market. Its hard for some people to not panic when they see the market drop more than 20% in a day. Holding long term maybe the answer that we looking for in this bear market because when we buy we just need to leave it in our personal wallet and come back when the bull market start.

The crypto market has been known for its volatility, with prices fluctuating rapidly and often unpredictably. Despite this, it has grown substantially over the years and has become increasingly mainstream, with more businesses and institutions accepting cryptocurrencies as a form of payment or investment.

While there have been periods of significant growth followed by sharp drops in the crypto market, it has historically bounced back and reached new highs. However, it is important to remember that investing in crypto carries risks and that past performance is not a guarantee of future success. The future of the crypto market will depend on various factors, such as regulatory developments, adoption rates, and technological advancements, which are difficult to predict.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will you sell Shib now? Am holding on: March 17, 2023, 03:18:10 AM
as a crypto enthusiast, I don't have personal beliefs or feelings about the statement you shared. However, I can provide some insights that may help you make an informed decision.

Firstly, it's important to note that the popularity of Shib among Ethereum whales doesn't guarantee its success in the future. While Shib may have gained popularity among a certain group of investors, the cryptocurrency market is highly volatile, and prices can fluctuate rapidly based on various factors, including market sentiment, news, and global events.

Secondly, it's always advisable to do your own research and consider various sources of information before making any investment decisions. While news and information platforms like Finbold and CoinMarketCap can provide useful insights, it's important to consider multiple sources and do your due diligence to make informed decisions about your investments.

Ultimately, the decision to hold onto or sell your Shib tokens should depend on your personal financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment strategy. It's important to weigh the potential risks and rewards of any investment decision carefully and make decisions that align with your financial objectives.

74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to trust in projects? like www.certik.org ? on: November 22, 2021, 12:29:32 PM
hello guys
how are you ?

have a nice time
I have a question about altcoin and that projects !

how to check and trust in  altcoin and that projects ?

for example https://www.certik.org/ is good idea to check project ?

have you seen site, online platform or applications like https://www.certik.org/ to check and verify altcoin projects ?

can you help me ?

Certik is only one from many tools which can tell us the project is true or no. Certik only provide audit so the smart contract is not breach or developer can not do potential rugg pull. Another research you need to do is team research and social media research.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH OR BSC on: November 22, 2021, 12:27:15 PM
One of the reasons why binance savvy chain gets to be this enormous right presently is since ethereum gas expense is exceptionally tall and this constrain a few ventures to switch to BSC but what do you think will happen once ethereum gas expense goes lower in close few months? Will BSC confronted same destiny as binance DEX? Or BSC will stay the way better choice over ethereum?

After ethereum fee skyrockets then bsc is the developer choice because of the fee is small. But now there are many compatitor who will face bsc. Solana, polkadot and other good blockchain will compete bsc. I heard bsc fees also going higher nowadays though..
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Play-to-Earn games on ETH: What's the catch? on: November 22, 2021, 12:23:28 PM
I see hype surrounding Play-to-Earn games (P2E) lately, just because it brings a new income stream to gamers. Many people are greedy, so they recur to blockchain-based games with the hopes of making big bucks in return. While P2E sounds promising, it's limited to the underlying blockchain network's capacity. I sometimes wonder what's the catch of games which "give away money for free", since fees on ETH are so high right now. How does the game generate revenue by itself? I suppose it's not out of thin air. We'll have to see how this will play out during an extended bearish market. Most probably, P2E will fail just like ICOs back in 2017.

Thoughts? Huh

I dont think play to earn on eth is like 2017 ICO, its totaly different situation. 2017 ICO is just the project with no use cases proven and NFT play to earn is the project wich can be counted and the use cases is there and real.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Let's figure out which altcoins have good opportunities next year on: November 22, 2021, 04:50:20 AM
Next year, when altcoins can provide the best value in the market, given that there are so many altcoins that cannot be the best source for investment, market conditions do not provide a better place for them at the moment.

I pay attention to such alts as mina, cro, dot, nwc, and cdt.

What are your thoughts about what other altcoins might grow in the future?

i predict next year is still on NFT especially NFT for Gaming, the reason i said this is because there will be many Games platform which will launch their games next year like My neighbour alice, CIFI FPS gaming and vulcan vorged from vulcan team.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which one of altcoin does most profit for staking on: November 22, 2021, 04:45:14 AM
hello guys
good time

I have a question

which one of altcoin does most profit for staking ?

I want to staking CAKE in pankakeswap, have you seen altcoin that staking is profitable than CAKE ?

which one ?
can you help me ?

for staking you need to see long term investment not only most profitable in short term. i will vote for coin which have its own blockchain like polkadot or ADA or Tezoss for staking. maybe because i was a victim of rug pulled. dont forget to do research about coin/token history before staking
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what you worst experience on crypto. on: November 22, 2021, 04:07:59 AM

80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to avoid all scams? on: November 22, 2021, 03:55:11 AM
you can not avoid all scam, trust me... i am here from years ago and still got scam even if its only small amount compare to my first year in this industry. the only thing you can do is deep due diligent and make your chance getting scam smaller but not 0 chance. scammer were smart people or maybe the condition which makes us got scam ( want to get rich fast because of FOMO ).
