41  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bitcasino.io 171btc winner discussion on: July 08, 2020, 08:18:36 PM
As a old school (gentle) hacker and working in the video games industry and security, i can tell you that Bitcasino should and must show to everybody here what is the exploit/cheat, otherwise they are big liars and scammers Wink  Zero doubt about that.

Explain us how he could have hacked your slot machine right now Wink by using a client-side vulnerability ? let me laugh hard Smiley That smell the scam or the very very very low-developpers (it's very hard to be stupid enough to let a client-side vulnerability/hpp vulnerability in a casino game)

It's not because this dude cheated somewhere in the past that he started over again.

Ok. tell me like I don't know shit, how this guy cheated slot machine?

If the issue still exists (seems like it does) they should first shut the game or all affected games down and fix it. Otherwise the alleged hacker can come back with more convincing KYC and perhaps a smaller less suspicious win, or publish the exploit, or do something else that's not very pleasant. Publishing an explanation is a bit tricky - might disclose more about their backend than they would want the public to know.

It's not  Cool

Bitcasino, we are waiting for an explanation. Because i repeat:  it's very hard to be stupid enough to let a client-side vulnerability/hpp vulnerability in a casino game.

Not a lot of people know the security, but i do. So i'm waiting an explanation.

You all people could ask to any security engineer, he/she will tell you that this smell the scam or the very low developper (at a point where you should avoid this casino) we make a bet ?

In the "commonly programmed" online casino games, the players inputs and their results in terme of action are 100% deterministic (not the game slot results but the actions), which make it impossible to cheat without infiltrating the server and modifying the code.

So i'm clearly waiting for explanation.
42  Other / Off-topic / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto has been a colleague of Pablo Escobar! on: July 07, 2020, 05:11:00 AM

According to Roberto, revealing the truth is important.

The problem with most people is that "revealing the truth" become quickly "revealing what i believe to be the truth".

This criminal should talk about the crimes commited by his brother "pablo escobar", according to myself, revealing the truth is important.

Thanksfully escobar wasn't smart enough to stay hidden to long time.

I hope that his brother is gonna finish like him quickly, we don't need any of those hidden criminals, who are using our technologies with their little brain of dumb criminals.

ps: if bitcoin would have been created by one of these criminals, if nakamoto was one of him, i would directly stop promoting bitcoin to anyone around me  Smiley and i would promote only altcoins. ONLY.
43  Other / Serious discussion / Re: US Govt shares tips on defending against cyberattacks via Tor on: July 04, 2020, 04:16:49 PM
Yes, you read that right.

Since cyberattackers use Tor to mask and hide their online identification, CISA (Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency) and the FBI recommends that companies consider using Tor for their online activities.

Quote
CISA and the FBI recommend that organizations assess their individual risk of compromise via Tor and take appropriate mitigations to block or closely monitor inbound and outbound traffic from known Tor nodes.

Summary: https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/us-govt-shares-tips-on-defending-against-cyberattacks-via-tor/
Full report: https://www.us-cert.gov/ncas/alerts/aa20-183a

I am not a security expert but I was still surprised reading this. Government agencies such as the FBI is the least expected to recommend using Tor service. I believe they would rather want to know everything. But educating legitimate companies to increase their online privacy and anonymity via Tor is probably the better way to starve cyber attackers.

I don't read anywhere that they are recommending to companies to consider using Tor for protect their online activities.
They give recommendations to avoid being attacked by an attacker that is using Tor.

It would make no sense for most companies to use Tor, because it would be less secure since the data would transit between servers that could be compromised and that aren't owned by these same companies.

What buyer pays for is me, a programmer with 25 years of programming experience in Pascal/Delphi.

Maybe it's time for you to learn something more marketable and go earn real money instead of asking for handouts here.

Not to mention the questionable ethics of promoting the idea of creating useless premined shitcoins for profit.

Days ago he accepted to "hack" an online cryptocurrency casino that is vulnerable to HPP vulnerability (which i doubt)

Dealing with this person is risky.
45  Economy / Services / Re: JavaScript knowledge needed! I found a breach in a slots game! (Huge Reward!) on: July 02, 2020, 03:51:54 PM
Inspect Element == Client-side stuff. You cannot do anything on the server with the changes on your browser. Unless of course, you're injecting some malicious scripts which don't seem to be the case.

It depends of how it has been programmed, it could be a HTTP Pollution Parameter vulnerability. I don't do security research in this domain anymore but 2 years ago i was still finding a lot of these vulnerabilities even in some great online games (they are just well hidden and people don't have enough time to check all the parameters, pages, functionnalities)

Hey guys! I found out that the snip microwallet has a slots game which is built with php and javascript, i am already able to change my win percentage just by doing inspect element and i know it is possible to set the minimum win! Help me and serve yourself in Bitcoin! The link for the game is snip Thanks

More details: I am able to change the win percentage in the Sources tab in inspect element
I also know there is some kind of minimum win variable thing

What you are trying to exploit could be a HTTP Pollution Parameter vulnerability and i doubt that there is this kind of vulnerability but it's possible, this vulnerability is mostly foundable in unexpected or unsuspectable parameters.

Anyway i won't help you to do that kind of stuff Cool

Stealing people is bad, more when you don't even know them so you don't even know what they deserve....
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What did you look out for before investing in an altcoin? on: July 02, 2020, 12:58:42 PM

1: Presentation (what is the project and why, but i do not care about the apparences, only text)
2: Price
3: Real-world use-cases

I invested in few projects without knowing the team (like darkcoin/dash and monero, dero, even bitcoin...) and it worked fine.

When i invest in a new coin it's mostly in the first days or months so the "period of existence" doesn't matter for me. I started mining Dash in the first days, there wasn't even a logo if i remember well, same for DERO there were only one dev and a ugly logo.

Watching at the stability ? less stability = more money. But more seriously, even bitcoin itself isn't stable, stability is not the main criteria to choose my investments in this young world, even if i'm still thinking about the stability in the futur.

the assets that you have as an investment are assets with a fairly large market. what you need to do might focus more on market analysis, not on project analysis. because some investments that require more research on their projects are related to new platforms that are starting to run. but when they are big enough. we can see the development of their platforms and markets.

Do you read what i said ?  i invested in those coins you weren't even in the cryptogame probably, they had no logo except for bitcoin, and those coins was unknown ( i was mining more than 50 darkcoins/dash per day with one i5 cpu, so yes the market wasn't large at all)

"Real-world use-cases" is obviously a market analysis.

I don't want to be harsh, but i'm rich enough to not make publicity for an online casino as you do, just to tell you that i'm here since a long time and my assets are fine.

(the question is "What did you look out for before investing in an altcoin? " not in which coins i started to invest yesterday.... btw i'm probably the first person that invested in Dero and one of the first who mined Dash in the first months, i'm proud of my analysis even if i invested in a lot of shitcoins but i was totally aware of what i was doing)
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What did you look out for before investing in an altcoin? on: July 02, 2020, 10:57:41 AM
Okay guys, hope we are all staying safe?

I felt I should get the opinion of some veteran traders here about investing in altcoins. What do you usually look out for before picking tokens for mid-term or long-term investment?

1. team behind the project?
2. type of blockchain?
3. real-world use-cases?
4. partnerships?
5. period of existence?
6. Stability of the token?
7. Just name them, anything you look out for

2 members of this forum are trolling me because there is written "Legendary" below their pseudonymes, so they think that they are real legends  Roll Eyes

Fortunately they have no life and no skill, they are not even useful on this planet not even to bring the cryptocurrencies to the large public Smiley (so they have the time to troll)

Thankfully it also increases a bit my activity/messages counter (and like that i'll become another kind of legendary, on a forum...  )  otherwise it would be useless to reply, and it improves a bit my english skill since i'm always trying to make my best.... All that while they are improving their trolling skill. In this world, everybody should be satisfied.

Anyway i have some real work to do, like a real legend.....

This is some weird drama. Some questions are popping up in my head:
Why is Cobra anonymous, while this guy (Will Binns) isn't anonymous? Why is Cobra hiding his identity?

For the same reason satoshi hides his.

Which reason ?
I will tell you why: because he is nobody and has no skill, so he prefer stay anonymous (and he'd better, because he's uesless)

Cobra is mysterious person and I don't have big trust in him. Especially after these tweets mentioned above in past.

just because someone has a different opinion than you, it is not a reason to not-trust them even if that opinion were wrong.
conversely having the same opinion as you doesn't make someone trustworthy (wolf in sheep clothing).

This is why cobra isn't trustable, he fired and "not-trust" someone just because this person had a different opinion on something that isn't relevant.
I would never believe or work with a person like that, he his full of pretention like his words on the Mozilla's intention which aren't even proved. What a dumb... and this little guy is the administrator of Bitcoin.org ?Well, it's just a little guy with a SSH access on a server and a bit of skill in programming Wink Cobra is litteraly nobody and bring nothing to the community. I will never share a "bitcoin.org" link on my future plateforms. I hate that kind of persons who are abusing their power by lying like that (can he prove what he said about Mozilla ?)

EDIT: The simple fact that he's pretentious about the intention of Mozilla Firefox, mean a lot about his real face and behavior in the real life. Even if he's the real owned of Bitcoin.org.

^^^ And that is without all the lies about Covid, that are making it seem worse than the regular flu season.

However, if Covid IS a little worse, it's because the immune systems of people have been impaired for the last 4 or 5 decades by vaccines.

Do you really believe in what you say ?
...

Most vaccine technology requires adjuvants which are a non-specific immune system stimulation mechanism necessary in order to make the immune system build enough antibodies be legally classified as 'effective'.

Usually aluminum salts are used as an adjuvant.  When they tried using squalene, which is an oil closely related to that which lubricates our joints, people had a lot of joint issues and arthritis.  They mostly stopped using it, but started using it again for over 65 flu vaccines recently.  Presumably they figured that if oldsters develop joint problems, or a worsening of them, it could be blamed on old age.

Adjuvants in vaccines are a lot like injecting a blast of nitrous oxide into an engine.  Some engines can take it without burning a hole in the piston or throwing a rod.  Other engines cannot.  Even those engines which don't fail spectacularly will sustain damage which will result in less efficiency and a shorter life.

"Most" is not a reason and it's not enough to pretend something like what he said.
53  Economy / Economics / Re: A very positive sign: 39% of companies now have blockchain in production on: June 20, 2020, 02:12:31 AM

39% of the surveyed companies so it's probably less than one percent..... unfortunately.

At the moment i doubt that even 1% of the companies that i see around me are involved in a blockchain service for the near futur.

57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I sent 200 USDT to a USDC address. Is it possible to recover funds? on: June 16, 2020, 01:49:52 PM
My exchange is Binance, and they claim the recepient: justanotherpanel.com must still be able to find and receive the transaction, even when I sent from USDT to USDC address. Binance says they are lieing they didnt receive the funds.
It should be there in your transaction history, it sounds weird though that they are denying that.
Unfortunately, that is not reversible or unreversible unless if the recipient will voluntarily return your lost USDT that accidentally placed on the wrong address.

This is easy money from an error transaction of the exchange, there are some services that will recover for free, but sad to say others won’t.
Now, the only thing that could help you is to contact the support team of Binance exchange. Or trace your error transaction.

This is the transaction: https://etherscan.io/tx/0xbff7be574d332daabe178ba43a8954074c2dc5ae0114bbbc4c437fb795768625

Does this page confirm that they received the transaction?

Yes it does.

Dear all,

Im planing to buy one used mining rig with 2000w supply for 8x 470GPU cards.
Noise of it is kinda loud. I was already suggested in another topic that i could replace to 2x psu or 1psu maybe 1300W or 1500W.

What do you think is is possible to isolate the psu with some kind of boxed sound isulation or this is not safe?

Thank you very much.
I really am complete starterd
Thanks for support
Blaž

Yes it's safe to use a soundproof box, you can also cover the acoustic foams with thermal aluminum foil foams which will improve the security but not only.

59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: seems like bitcoin is too slow to progress on: June 16, 2020, 04:08:36 AM
guys, in bitcoin literally nothing happens if we compare with defi on ethereum. User experience and possibilities there (lending, dexes, pools and so on) are so far ahead.
the idea of 21kk bitcoins is out of date, no fresh ideas, no fresh blood in devs. And also absolutely centralised infrastructure around (exchanges). Lightening is fucked.
Bitcoin is one more tool for snx traders. And its price goes exactly according to s&p500. I hardly see reasons to hold the biggest share of my portfolio in bitcoin. Maybe I missed smth, help to get it. Thanks!

You sound like a typical beginner who gets hyped by altcoin advertisements and declares that Bitcoin is dead. This has been going on for a while, there are countless coins that claim to be Bitcoin killers, and there's a ton of coins that claim to be Ethereum killers. But guess what, Bitcoin is not only #1, but its dominance keeps growing, because smart investors understand that alts come with a big load of flaws and issues, that they solve problems that no one cares about, that they are insanely centralized.

So, go ahead and sell you BTC, but you will regret it later when alts will keep dying and underperforming while BTC reaches new highs.

Bitcoin is #1 only because of the media and the fact that if you want to buy altcoins then you need to use bitcoin for most of them. Also the support and number of tutorials available for the merchants.

Please, enumerate the flaws and problems your are talking about.

At the moment i think a lot of cryptocurrencies can surpass bitcoin in many ways.
60  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you think covid-19 end in this year? on: June 16, 2020, 03:46:05 AM
Most people don't care when Covid will end. If they did, they would go to The Highwire https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCq6oOuhSx7ESreh6m9LGy6Q/videos and watch the videos. What would they find out if they did this? That Coviid is a lie.

I don't mean that the Covid virus doesn't exist. All I mean is that it isn't any worse than a bad flu season. The lie is the pandemic perpetrated on people by the medical leaders, the governments and the media.

If you really are interested, go to The Highwire and watch/listen-to the videos.

Cool

Instead of promoting scammers and misinformations you should better learn science.

You promote the youtube channel of a scammer and lier, nothing more. A TV productor isn't a scientist.

https://www.cbc.ca/news/health/marketplace-anti-vaccination-hidden-camera-washington-1.5429805

If you are really interested, go learn some biology and chemistry.

The earth is one. For example. Chemtrails change the way bacteria work in the atmosphere. The body has to try to adapt to the changes, because the atmosphere reaches right down to us all.

In addition, even though many formal churches stifle spirituality, we all need to congregate with others who believe like we do. Hugging a tree isn't enough.

It all has to do with the all-pervading Spirit. The Holy Spirit doesn't only exist where like believers are, or with religious folks congregating with others of like faith. He exist throughout nature and outer space, as well.

The trick is, finding the truth of what He wants for us. The second trick is following and obeying that truth. Love, and faith in Jesus-salvation are two of His requirements. Filling up on His Word, the Bible, shows us how.

Cool

Facemasks don't protect you. They might protect someone else if you are a carrier, and they don't go out very often. If they go out a lot, they have Covid, facemasks or not.

Cool

I will probably find a message saying the earth is flat if i continue to read your history Roll Eyes
