Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Edward DeLeon Hickman knows the identity of jl777

if he didn't know, he would simply say- I don't know who jl777 is.
being that he will not answer this question, we must assume he DOES know who he is.
You haven't said you're NOT a pedophile. So by your logic you must be a pedophile, yes? But just to show how fair and equitable I am, no I do not know who JL777 is. That said if I did know, no amount of threats or coercion could ever make me tell because as a journalist I have a right to protect the identities of my sources. I would face a firing squad before I violated my own integrity and ethics on that matter. Now that I've been kind enough to answer yet ANOTHER one of your questions, Joshua Zeidner of Altchain.org, care to tell us what you did with the 1,000,000 NXT?

First off, numbers don't lie. JL777 is a MARKET MAKER. One look at the top 100 digital assets and you can see without a doubt that he is making moves. That's hardly an opinion but rather stone cold fact. You can't launch 90% of the most successful digital assets in this space without doing something right. So aside from the fact that you just seem butthurt about someone else's skill and success you really can't honestly decry anyone for pointing out his. But by all means keep flailing about. The movie about this whole mess is spooling up and we've got sincere buzz and interest building. Oh and did I mention that "The Case of the Missing 1,000,000 NXT" is now CoinTelegraphs NUMBER 1 STORY!?!?!? http://cointelegraph.com/news/112643/the-mystery-of-the-missing-1000000-nxtSo from the bottom of my heart, thank you Joshua for being such an inhumane, cold-hearted monster that simply by standing up to you, I've managed to rally the entire community behind me. You're not the most impressive dragon I've seen but I slew you just the same and the whole village is lining up to thank me for it. Thanks for continually promoting my business activities, my social media platforms, and the story. I honestly couldn't have paid for marketing this genuine and heartfelt. I'll be sure to send you a thank you letter after the movie premieres. P.S: I should also add that Mark and I are founding members in an organization that is working towards building advanced gateways that will help spread cryptocurrency adoption. If you want to read more about that you can visit our website at www.pacificblockchain.comThanks for reminding me to tell everyone Joshua. I always forget to shill my main occupation because well... that's not my main reason for communicating with the community. Crazy right?

Yeah, we could get our mini-series yet.
Should the story go down the Breaking Bad route, following Joshuas descent into lunacy and becoming the official Worst Person in Crypto , or more of a sprawling Game of Thrones affair, covering multiple character arcs?
(I'd like Peter Dinklage to play me, btw. With some easy ladies and a couple of bottles of wine...)
You laugh but I'm already about 3,000 words into the beat sheet and I have a dedicated partner on the project with experience selling these kinds of things to the right kind of people. I'd also very much like to be the first writer to do a narrative using blockchain technology as a central component to the story... these things are always long shots but hey... you never know. Well then maybe you need to trade the story on the nxt ae or sell subscriptions or story updates on nxt or at the very least embed the info into the blockchain. Something... You really can't make stuff up like this if you try. My partner/agent on this deal is already in talks with a major PR firm to fund a campaign in conjunction with a full ICO rollout, so that the entire community can both fund and profit from the project. The story is just as much about the various crypto communities involved as it is about the characters in it. The main star for me, is the technology. I plan to integrate Blockchain applications into a story in such a way that we're not TELLING people how amazing they are, we're simply showing them by building everything in contextually. If funded it will be worth a Million conventions, 10 Million articles, and all the Podcasts ever recorded in terms of PR value for the technology. There's a reason movies are such big business and there's a reason many of the most successful companies in the world fight for placement in cinema. Films (even bad ones) sway people in a way that is far richer and more emotive than any of the current modes of information Bitcoin and other Blockchain applications have been using. It really can completely set the world on the edge of it's seat if we are allowed to time, space, and resources to write it properly.

Joshua Mark Zeidner is a supporter of the Jl777 asset InstantDEX.
there is also InstantDEX which you can actually invest in on the exchange. Shares are trading at ~34NXT per share. -bm
Joshua Mark Zeidner received Jl777 assets for 1,750,000 NXT (= 130 Btc). http://www.nxtreporting.com/?a=NXT-BKPE-L5KH-2C5D-BKDXS&c=USD10'000 NXTventure = 1'180'000.00 NXTNXTventure makes private investments in promising enterprises and adds value to each investment by proactively integrating it into NXTservices to add a valuable new service for the NXTcommunity. NXTventure will pay monthly dividends in the assets it acquires, net of trading activities during the launch period. This means NXTventure asset will generate a stream of new assets as it launches them. contact jl777 if you are seeking investment 300'000 NXTautoDAC = 444'000.00 NXTNXTautoDAC assets represent .0001% of revenues from the family of autoDACs that bluemeanie1 and his team will create. NXTventure has made a private investment and assetized 75% of revenues. Development costs will be funded by the remaining 25% of revenues.Once deployed the automatic Digital Autonomous Corporations will continue to operate in an open and transparent manner with transactions enforced by the NXT blockchain. Due to their automated nature the fees charged to people can be dramatically less than real world equivalents. The much lower fees are expected to entice enough people to try this new technology and thus increasing the customer base. The ability to easily utilize autoDACs will be integrated into NXTservices and this will encourage adoption. While autoDAC's have a tremendous potential, it is still in its infancy and it is expected that it will take a while for people to become comfortable with using autoDACsPlease follow updates on the NXTventure section 1'000 InstantDEX = 58'999.90 NXTThere are a total of 1 million InstantDEX assets. The goal of InstantDEX is to offer realtime trading of NXT, NXT assets and other cryptos. It will earn fees from commissions on the trades. By keeping costs low by using a decentralized infrastructure, it is expected to be able to distribute approximately half of revenues to asset holders.please refer to nxtforum.org for up to date details 1'000 NXTcoinsco = 34'700.00 NXTThere are a total of 1 million NXTcoinsco assets. NXTcoinsco will be creating coins that run on top of NXT, starting with nodecoin. After that it will make SVMcoin and also create a NXTcoins development kit to enable others to make coins easily. For internally created coins, NXTcoinsco asset holders will receive 10% of the coins. The percentage for externally developed coins will vary.please refer to nxtforum.org for up to date details This is the thing... he doesn't realize how fair and equitable I was being in my last article. There is a LOT of ugly stuff I left out due to space restrictions and because it wasn't entirely relevant to the main issue regarding the missing 1,000,000 NXT (at the time). I can easily write an expanded piece that highlights his whole history with the NXT community and present it to the public in an organized, easy to read layout. He should honestly just accept the fact that he did something wrong and move on but I suspect he has a strong ulterior motive for not doing so. (Unless anyone else has a better explanation as to why someone would accept payment for work, not do the work, then STICK AROUND to berate everyone afterwards?) As is he's just giving me more ammo to write part 2 of what is now the 2nd most popular story on CoinTelegraph. He keeps going and I'll have all the material I need to finish the screenplay about the investigation. So if you are reading this BM by all mean, please continue.

If you are attempting to draw a causal link between that persons book and the activities of another account, you are really, REALLY reaching. It's a bit like saying drugs are bought and sold using USD. You are holding USD, therefore you are associated with people buying and selling drugs. I realize these things can be complicated for some but it's really not that nuanced an issue. Attempting to prove guilt by association to an entire decentralized market place... for shame. Do we really need a part two of my last article highlighting your disgusting behavior more? Are you that hungry for the spotlight?

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A social network that pays you and can store Bitcoin
|
on: September 28, 2014, 08:10:18 AM

The problem with this is that if people are paid to have a social network account then they will create multiple accounts (essentially farming accounts) making the network less able to earn ad revenue as the user base is not "real" Also any service that hold bitcoin for you on your behalf is almost always a bad idea If you treat the account like a bank account and make it so you have to be KYC compliant then you are ok. You can make it very difficult to spam accounts in a number of ways anyway. Make it so that to register it and start receiving funds they need to verify a few things (a phone number, an email, even scanned IDs if need be). People give away a lot more for a lot less in these markets already.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So my friends and I launched Hawaii's first Bitcoin ATM but...
|
on: September 24, 2014, 10:15:10 PM

In reality the machine we have now is just a conversation piece, to get people talking about the technology. That's also part of the reason why we placed it in a shop that sells collectible coins, stamps, and currency. The people that visit that store regularly are exactly the kind of people who stand a good chance of understanding BTC because they understand the history of currency (the guy who runs the store actually wrote the book on Hawaiian Currency).
I don't think your choice for your BTC ATM is a very good one. You want to get as much foot traffic to your BTC ATM as possible so anyone who wishes to buy bitcoin from your ATM can do so once they pass it (like an impulse purchase, or if not an impulse purchase it would be something they come back to). If you have your BTC ATM is a low foot traffic location then you are only doing the owner of the shop the BTC ATM is located in, as it will generate additional foot traffic to that store from people wanting to buy bitcoin from your ATM It's in the middle of downtown at the busiest intersection in the area in full view of anyone who walks by. Short of placing it in a touristy area, you'd be hard pressed to find a busier spot. And as I said, this is about starting the dialogue not generating profit. That location has already netted us 3 solid investors because that's the kind of person that frequents Hawaiian Stamp and Coin and that's the kind of person we need on our side as this thing picks up steam in our region.

what places around your ATM or in Hawaii at all already accept bitcoin. The ATM would be useless if there is no where to spend the coins. So just curious what places do you have in Hawaii that now accept bitcoins as payments
You do not need to spend your bitcoin locally. Anyone who uses the OP's ATM has the option of buying things online or investing in bitcoin related businesses. And its blind faith statements like this why Bitcoin is going no where. Did you read the Ops starting post They are not a technology friendly state, they do not like change, thus 1 little ATM is not the light at the end of the tunnel for them, its just an obstacle, one they can and will easily avoid. No offense to OP yo have your priorities in skew my friend, in order for your ATM to work well you will need places that accept bitcoins, what you should have done first is get businesses in the area to adopt and accept the coin, even if you have to do the footwork it would have been worth it for you in the end. An ATM will interest few people, however being that your area is a HUGE vacation area, if you could get people to accept bitcoins in gift shops, small restaurants or other places like that and put your ATM in the middle of the stores accepting BTC how much better do you think it will do. If I were you I would go out now, waste no time and spend the winter months trying to get businesses on board, get Tshirts and have some of the "Bitcoin Accepted Here" signs and stickers ready to hand out, even if you have to help them set the system up and get them a wallet and help them to adopt BTC I would do that. In addition you placed your ATM in a place that is already not very accepted, so you have to turst what he has in his shop to be the trust factor in your business now, what he sells and what he does is a great reflection on your ATM and what it stands for. because what he has is tangible and the consumers against change will connect his products and services directly with your ATM. What you have done would be like a miner who wants to mine bitcoin so he prepays his electric bill for 5000 dollars and buys one 1 Thash dragon to begin his mining business. the electric is useless if you dont have the machines to support the cost, the fewer machines you have the less BTC you make the longer it takes to collect BTC the higher the difficulty the higher the difficulty the less you collect. Do you see what I mean? Well for starters Hawaii already has quite a few places that accept bitcoin though services like Gyft (thats how I do my shopping) and we are already in talks with businesses around the BTM's location about utilizing our integration services that will allow them to accept bitcoin seamlessly. So we aren't simply pushing BTMs with the hopes they will change the market but rather we are pushing from both sides at the same time. So I'm not sure what you mean by your assertion about the location being "not very accepted" because that business has been there in the center of the business district since 1979 and is run by a family that has operated such businesses in Hawaii for generations. They are about as accepted as a business gets. BTM's aren't even my companies core competency, it's really systems management which we will demonstrate with the launch of our proprietary machines later this year (stay tuned). However, in a low adoption state such as Hawaii we felt the need to get the dialogue going well before we were done with our own product launch and the current machine has done so with gusto. Everyday I wake up to emails, phone calls, and text messages from people asking about the machine down on Bishop street or the technology in general. So for now, mission accomplished but we've still got a long way to go if we want to see Bitcoin really hit the mainstream market. That's something we should ALL be working towards too.

Well the shop that hosts the ATM sells rare stamps and coins which you can't use anywhere, and you currently can't use bitcoin to buy anything on Oahu, so it was actually pretty smart to place it there. I mean, of all places to host it in Honolulu. It may get more traffic somewhere like the Ala Moana shopping center but they probably want a bigger cut, and it would be better to wait until major retailers start accepting bitcoin. That's the thing though. In terms of speed of transaction, you just can't beat the credit card. Most people are pretty happy paying for their item with credit (or debit)... If the speed of a BTC transaction can't match a credit card transaction, imagine how much longer lines would be if everybody used bitcoin for retail purchases. I'd be happy to buy a vintage aloha shirt from an independent retailer using bitcoin, but would just as soon save my bitcoins for online purchases and use cash or debit (or credit). So its important that Hawaii residents at least have a facet to easily purchase bitcoin if they want to choose, but yeah, there's not much to actually do with it here. My team and I are working on solving some of those problems in two ways. First we're doing free bitcoin integration services for local businesses, showing them how accepting Bitcoin improves their public image and allows for electronic transactions with zero risk of charge back. We are also building a platform into our production model ATMs that will allow people to buy/sell goods and services using cryptocurrency (we are half way through the seed round of funding for that now with the development being maybe 1 month away from completion). I agree though that this town needs more options as to what to do with your crypto, so we are working to provide those options. It's a lot of work opening up a new market but I think it will be worth it in the end.

What's next the movie "Bitcoin Down"? You know as a filmmaker myself I immediately thought of that too. In a market this volatile and fast moving any attempt to make a documentary is going to run into the problem that even by the time you've begun your post production work the information in the film is already old and perhaps flat out wrong.

Well the good news is that with the recent price drop the machine is seeing heavy traffic (came close to selling out a few times) and I'm being bombarded personally by people who want to buy direct. So I'm not THAT worried about adoption. People will come around eventually, once the conditions are right. All it really takes is a dramatic price change or a big news story.
