GM(GN) Crypto FAM - depending on where you're at. I hope you're having a nice day so far amid this craziness. I'm pretty new to crypto, so I try to stay on track through various newsletters, etc. And I came across this, about which I thought I'd ask you guys for further clarification since I'm not sure I'm getting the point here. Under the Bitcoin shield, altcoins are becoming more volatile, with mixed results. This is what bothers me: how does the price of Bitcoin relate to the prices of other cryptocurrencies? GM Crypto Fam. We've seen what's going on with Binance and FTX, so I came by to see what you all think of this since I'm not really sure how everything is going to pan out, and why is CZ doing what he's doing. FTT collapsed by 15%, BTC had its worst day in two months, dropping 4%, and ETH dropped 5%. All of that in less than 24 hours following this event. It seems that many investors are selling or just withdrawing their assets from FTX. Do you think this is a smart move, or are the people just panicking for no reason? What would you do if you had money laying around is FTX? Source of the story: https://decrypt.co/113723/investors-withdrawal-millions-from-ftx-binance-begins-liquidating-ftt-token

Good day, Crypto FAM. I found this interesting article that discusses the EU's desire to develop a cryptocurrency energy-efficiency grading system in order to encourage more environmentally friendly crypto systems. “ Just as their use has grown significantly, the energy consumption of cryptocurrencies has more. In harnessing the use of cryptocurrencies and other blockchain technologies in energy markets and trading, care must be taken to use only the most energy-efficient versions of the technology.” Do you think this would help mainstream adoption of cryptocurrencies? Hello Crypto Fam. So, the FSB has released a recommendation on stablecoin regulation. They are doubting the notion that stablecoins are "stable," arguing that issuers lack the necessary tools to keep their stablecoin peg at all times, implying that no stablecoin currently meets their recommendations. This is what they said about it: “Most existing stablecoin issuers promise (implicitly or explicitly) to maintain a stable value, typically relative to a single fiat currency. However, many of these existing stablecoins are issued by unregistered and unlicensed entities and do not have credible mechanisms to support their promise of price stability.” What do you guys think about this? Would you recommend the use of stablecoins or they just aren't worth the risk? Original source of the story: https://tokenist.com/fsb-says-no-stablecoin-currently-passes-its-recommendations/

You can check in this site if you're want to see the updated mining difficulty [1] it's true the difficulty is on the peak with 33.74 T, everytime Bitcoin difficulty will increase as long as the miners doesn't quit mining. Well I live in a country where electricity cost are quite higher, so it's not profitable for me to mine Bitcoin anymore. If you're curious how to calculate the mining profitability, you can use this site [2] where you can input yourself about the mining power, electric cost etc.

So your title and your real question are different. Well, to answer your question, it will depend on who you ask. If they have access to cheap electricity, can afford to mine at loss for a while, etc, then they'll keep mining BTC. If they don't then the most logical decision would be to stop mining or use their rig for another purpose.
Yes, new to the community - my bad if the question wasn't clear. Thank you for your input joni, much appreciated. I was just interested in hearing other peoples opinion on the subject, assuming most people here know what they're talking about.
